In a few months, I'll have been at this gym for 4 years!! Wow that seems like a long time saying it but time flies when you're having fun and we have a lot of fun here. The coaches are great and the current workout structure has been fun for me as I can do fit (think more of traditional CrossFit), sweat (no barbell movements and heavier on the cardio), or build (more strength based and accessory strength based) anytime rather than having to decide based on schedule/class times. I've also loved being able to mix and match a little (like fit for part 1 and build for part 2 of the workout that day) based on how I'm feeling that day or what I feel I need more work on. They've also been very conscientious of health guidelines since reopening in June. Equipment is cleaned after each class, professional cleaning occurs as well, you have to sign up for classes on the app, hand sanitizer is offered entering and leaving class, everyone has a mask on, everyone stays in their square for the workout, and you enter and leave class through separate sides of the building. And if you're not ready to come back in person or only want to be in person occasionally, they're still offering virtual classes during some of the class times everyday. The best thing about VVV though is the people. I've made so many friends here that I not only get to work out with but have gotten to foster real friendships with that extend beyond the walls of the gym. It's not just about the workout here, it's about the community. I can't wait to celebrate my 4th anniversary here this spring. Updated 7/4/2020 Since my last review, there's been quite a bit of change at the gym. If you've been on the fence about going to a public workout space with the current state we find ourselves in, know that VVV is probably the safest space you can workout in. For starters, class sizes are capped to ensure appropriate social distancing. When you enter the facility, you are allowed into class one person at a time. You must wear a mask in the waiting area (parking lot), and when called in, you need to sanitize your hands upon entry. Further, you are assigned to a space that has been taped off to, again, maintain social distancing. All the equipment you'll need for that day's workout is in your square ready to go for you. Since appropriate social distancing can be maintained once in your square, you can remove your mask so that you may appropriately breathe during your high-intensity workout (you'll be breathing a lot!). Once class ends, you are required to clean and sanitize your equipment (a spray bottle and towel are already placed in your square). You need to put your mask back on before leaving your square, and as you leave, there's a specific one-way exit you must go through (the opposite side of the building to the entrance). At the exit, you're given hand sanitizer by one of the coaches. Meanwhile, in between classes, the coaches and staff go through and re-sanitize every square. So, to recap, you sanitize on the way in, you use sanitized equipment in an assigned space, you sanitize your equipment again when you finish, and you sanitize yourself on the way out. Meanwhile, your square is sanitized once more for the next group. As for the workouts themselves, there are four workout options to choose from that are administered simultaneously during each class. You get to pick which workout plan you'd like to follow, so you only need to worry about one during the class itself, but it's nice that you have options. If you're new, the coaches on staff will give you suggestions on which plan to follow. Even if you've been around for awhile, as the coaches get to know you and understand your fitness goals, they'll continue to make recommendations on which plan to follow. In fact, as an example of going above and beyond, my wife showed up one day with minor inflammation in her knee, and the coaches wrote her an entirely customized workout just for her. Again, the coaches will get to know your fitness goals and will assist you in helping to achieve those goals. Further, in every class I've been to, there has been a minimum of two coaches looking after the class, and often times, three. With class sizes just under 20, you're always being watched, and if you're doing something wrong, someone is always there to quickly correct you. You get the benefits of a one-on-one personal trainer in this type of format without paying the high hourly rate of one. Further, the coaches are always available before and after class to answer any questions you may have, including working with you to establish long-term goals, nutritional advice, etc. The "new normal" of our world has affected us in many ways, and VVV has quickly adapted to those changes to ensure our health and safety while striving to ensure that we all reach the goals and results that we have set for ourselves. Attaining your fitness goals really is as simple as just showing up. The coaches and staff have gone above and beyond during these unique times to ensure our little community continues to receive the best instruction, coaching, and workouts possible. Let me start off by saying that I have never been very athletic, and I never would enjoy even the thought of going to the gym to workout. One day I realized that something had to change, I had to start living a healthier lifestyle. I've tried MANY different group fitness classes, but nothing ever made me feel motivated, until I found VVV. I started classes at VVV in 2017 when I saw an ad on Facebook for a 6-week nutrition challenge. After trying the Sweat (and then later CrossFit) classes, I was addicted! Needless to say, I became a member after the 6-week challenge and have been going there ever since. All of the coaches at VVV are knowledgable and attentive to each member during the workouts. I recently started private training sessions to focus on my strength training, and Coach Ty has been awesome! I've seen a lot of improvement in my form and confidence in my strength when lifting. What: Sweat class and Power Hour classes with occasional Sunday morning yoga. I went here for a little over 1.5 years but unfortunately had to stop due to my own autoimmune health issues and wrist limitations. The coaches helped me modify as much as possible but eventually I realized that Crossfit wasn't the best exercise program for me. I knew going in it would not be sustainable for me personally. On to my next fitness journey! Ambiance: they have a great variety of equipment: sleds, free weights, kettle bells, rings, boxes, row machines, ski machines, two types of bicycles, slam balls, wall balls, resistance bands, etc. Plus exercises without the weights: running outside, squats, burpees, jumping jacks, jump rope, sit-ups, lunges, etc. Everyone encourages each other and the vibe is positive. The class environment really pushes you to work harder because it forces you to keep up and get in those extra reps. Sometimes they have you partner up, so that also keeps you on your toes. Service: Boris, Ty, Brian and Rosa are all great coaches each with their own style and personality. It's great that they mix up who is teaching the classes so you never know who you are going to get so your body is always challenged. Even going to the same class, every day was different and it was always a great workout. Location: they just moved to a beautiful, new facility in the plaza across from the Desert Willow Golf course. I took a loooong hiatus from CrossFit but since the pandemic, I had an urge to get back into it and decided to sign up. I've been coming here now since June 2020 and the last 3 months at VVV have been wonderful so far. From membership sign up to the new precautions and regulations due to covid, they have successfully been able to keep classes lively and ensure all members are safe and socially distant. Here's what they've done... Class Efficiency: They have capped the amount of people in each class and members must reserve their spots before class. You wait in the parking lot until class starts and allow one member to enter at a time while assigning you a square to work out in. You enter the building from the front and you exit out the back after your work out. Cleanliness/Safety: You must wear your mask when waiting, entering, exiting and anytime you are outside of your assigned square. You can remove your mask when you stay within your area. Cleaning supplies are available at each station and you clean your station after your workout. As members exit the gym, staff members spray disinfectant in each station. Workout/Programming: Excellent workout programming! They offer 4 various types of programming for each class depending on your goal. At the beginning of class they explain the workouts and walk the class through stretches that pertain to the movements. They usually have 3 mini workouts within class which last approximately 30 mins total. It doesn't sound like a lot but trust me at the end of it all you will be wiped out! When the workout begins, coaches walk around to help you. Coaches: I love that ALL of the coaches here are knowledgable and are able to quickly modify movements around any injuries. They are welcoming and not intimidating which can be the case at some other boxes. Shoutout to Coach Glen! In September I joined VVV. The first day I felt so akward and out of place but I was welcomed and felt comforable in the facility's space and with the coaches. 3 months later and I AM ADDICTED!!! My fitness level is higher, I am stronger and more confident! I use to be so out of breath and tired from just holding one of my kids for a few seconds. Now I can hold one in each arm with out a second guess. I can play with them without saying "mommy's too tired" and mostly I feel proud of the example I am setting for them. Veni Vidi Vici fitness is way more than a gym. The coaches genuinely care about each members wellbeing. Their covid precautions are the best and they are always trying to find more ways to make their members feel even more comfrontable. And speaking of memebrs, everyone is so friendly and enthusiastic! My introvert self feels so welcomed and included unlike a nation wide cardio based gym I left to join VVV where the memebrs mostly gave of that "I am better than you vibe." I have been coming to VVV for 6.5 months now and today I hit a goal of mine! Today I ran the full lap around the gym without stopping, not one time. I know that is nothing for others, but for me, it was a huge accomplishment. Cardio is typically my enemy. I attended a Sweat class today with Boris, and I lost 600 calories in an hour workout. That is a lot for me. One of the best and hardest workouts I've done! Coming to VVV is different than Other gyms. They are family. They know you and they do what they can to help you improve, learn movements, etc. they are always welcoming and have fun outings to get to know each other which I love! I am so disappointed. This was not a 'community " setting with One on one trainers. First they canceled the Orientation. Walked in with no receptionist, no one to greet me and "make me feel welcome ". I arrived early and something was happening. I had to find someone and he was nice enough. I was put on a bike without it being adjusted for my height, I 'm 5'2. Oh met the owner Boris for 2 minutes. Explained my health concerns then watched what they were doing. The woman I spoke with said I'd be one of the youngest in the group. That you buddy up. I saw nothing CLOSE to this. Then, I see they overcharged me $200!!! I want a TOTAL REFUND!! I really wanted this and they just told me what I wanted to hear. Totally didn't mention they offer a free class. Consider whatever today was free!! read more

I moved to Henderson in July of 2019, and VVV Fitness was the very first place I went to after getting settled into the area. The staff and members immediately made a great impression on me. I regularly attended the 5am WODs with Boris and loved everyone of them (minus Boris's daily bar "warm ups" before class which were sometimes tougher than the WODs. Just kidding, but seriously). Despite the unique challenges of COVID-19, the staff at VVV rallied and created an incredible and safe environment for its members - which also meant continued, great workouts! I am unfortunately leaving the area for work and had to move on from VVV, but cannot say enough great things about this gym. It'll be one of the things I miss most about Las Vegas, and there is a ton to miss! I've been doing high-intensity training since 2010 when I entered the Marines and can honestly say VVV sets the standard. I'll miss this gym and everyone I encountered. There's an app to see all the classes and crossfit wods that's super helpful in planning your workouts in your schedule. It's a crossfit gym but they offer a variety of other classes too! I love the sweat class. High intensity training that's different each class. The power class is not as fast paced as sweat but is great for accessory work. I haven't done the yoga or cardiox but it was nice to have options other than crossfit. And then there's the crossfit class, of course! All the coaches are super helpful and knowledgeable. I love that they break down all the movements of lifts before the workout starts. They are motivating during the workout and encourage you to push yourself past your comfort zone. My mental game has definitely grown and I was able to do some things I didn't think I could. The new location is also sooo nice! It feels more of a boutique fitness studio than a crossfit box. When my wife Emily and I moved to Henderson over three years ago, one of the bigger challenges was finding the right CrossFit gym to join. We wanted a place where the coaches truly cared about all their members and their fitness/health goals. At the same time, we wanted a place where there was a real community both in and out of the Box. We certainly found that and more at VVV and why we recommend it so highly. Let me say first, in light of the pandemic, I have come to appreciate the need to stay healthy as possible. The entire team at VVV has created a really safe, clean environment with unbelievably well-organized, individualized workout spaces. And, at time where our every day routine has been seriously disrupted -- the team at VVV has been an essential part of helping us staying healthy both physically & mentally. I am deeply appreciative for that alone. I also joined the VVV personal training program with Coach Ty Yamasaki. It is, by far, one of the best things I have ever done in CrossFit and I highly recommend it. Indeed, through the roughly 90 days since I started doing PT (in addition to my regular daily workouts at VVV), Ty has worked with me every day to set up realistic objectives on weight loss, building strength and improving my toughest area: cardio. More importantly, he has helped me to understand efficiency and proper technique are as important as the amount of weight you put on the bar or the number of meters you row. I should also mention that the personal training course at VVV has also been important in being disciplined in my eating habits and how important that is to success. Demons often need exercising. I have the light of God and the wisdom of Satan. I jump and squat, usually on my own, in my living room. Never around others. I like to shadow box wearing very little with the television on. Usually in front of my paintings. To exert before others is vulnerable. And besides, I'm no exercise junkie. I could barely keep up. I'm in Vegas, early AM, no hangover. Little sleep. I show up to Veni Vidi Vici with a free voucher to exercise demons. A Yelp check-in. Can I sweat out the bad animal? I have one animal that expelled Lauren and Tess from my life, and my Art Professors too. That animal called everyone a hack. It said that nothing is worth it. Satan's wisdom guided me to the desert to become a survivalist sleeping with strangers. I must keep a physique. A shape. Lines and shadow. A good artist is capable of getting laid. Bad artists are frumpy, lazy drinking IPAs holding tote bags. I tell myself, my own upkeep, considering the amount of inspirations I ingest, requires CrossFit. But I'm a newbie. And my good animal is perhaps what drove me here. The one that wants biceps, a wife, and religious education for my future children. I love this gym. I don't know how else to say it. LOVE LOVE LOVE. I joined about 8 months ago. I was so intimidated of CrossFit for years! But my 11 year old son signed up for the kids summer classes. After just 3 days of watching him go I instantly knew I needed to join. The coaches were SO knowledgeable and welcoming. I have an old injury and they knew exactly how to modify for me. Fast forward a few months and I got my grown daughter to join. She has a birth injury that has always made her very intimidated of all gyms. Nobody ever knows about it when she tells them the name. I encouraged her to just try 1 class with me. She met Boris, the owner, and said I have an Injury...he instantly knew ALL about it. He made her feel comfortable and welcome and helped her build strength like she's never been able to. I was a member of CFVVV a few years prior and just signed back up 4 days ago for their homeWOD and Live Zoom classes online. No equipment needed, they have substitutions and other ways of creating a workout you can do from home for all different levels of fitness. The classes and coaching have all been great. Even not being in the same room, with live video they have been able to coach, correct and push everybody in the class which is what I need to keep me motivated. I have to take a moment and say a few words about my CROSSFIT VENI VIDI VICI! CFVVV is special! The exceptional overall quality of this place permeates every square foot of it, and is unbeatable. The sense of community is incredible!!! I know this is because they have built this location on a foundation of passion, love for, and commitment to their members!!! My only regret was that I had not found CFVVV earlier! I first came in to CFVVV a couple of years ago when a participant that attended my aerobics class that I taught for years, invited me. She promised me I would love it, but I had been to a different CrossFit gym before and wasn't thrilled about it. So, hesitantly, I attended with her. I did not expect what I was going to experience!!! It completely captured the essence of fitness I was looking for. I was met by the company owner, Boris, who coached the class that day. He immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable. The class was called "SWEAT." I had no idea there was a variety of classes offered, other than the traditional "Crossfit WOD" (Workout of the Day). CFVVV offers multiple varieties of classes daily, including, but not limited to, CROSSFIT WODs. I quickly caught on to Boris' expertise, and how he engaged with the members to provide a safe, rewarding workout to all attending. (And a huge smile!) All of the coaches are FANTASTIC!!! There has never been a class where I felt the instructor was just going through the motions. These instructors are undeniably hand-picked for their expertise and dedication. They get to know you quickly and coach in a positive manner, while ensuring things are being done safely and effectively. They also have GREAT senses of humor!!! I love how there are all different types of people in the class, who come together to share a common goal. I've met all different types of people here ... younger, older, stay at home parent, working parent, veterans, military, first responders, doctors, students, etc... and they even have classes for seniors and kids. I never feel like I am walking into a mediocre business or some average franchise. Recently, in light of the Coronavirus Pandemic, I am in awe at their continued commitment and availability to their members. They quickly launched home workouts via online ZOOM meetings where we can still workout, be coached, and connect with our CFVVV Community during this time. Coaches are very knowledgeable, dedicated, and positive. As a person who has been out of shape for way too long, it's not easy getting back into the the groove but the atmosphere has been positive and encouraging all around! It's nice to know that I just need to show up and the rest will fall into place- from modified workouts to pushing me further than I knew I could go- I'm grateful to be a part of the Crossfit Family! read more

This place ROCKS!!! I have never stepped foot in to a CrossFit "box" before and I have never done extreme workouts or weight lifting. Coach Brian and the other coaches have been so patient with helping me make sure my form is correct to prevent injury. I am about 1 month in and feel challenged every workout which is AWESOME!! I took a pic of my back about 1 month in and saw a noticeable difference and thought, "Damn!! This CrossFit thing is paying off!!" I also want to give a shout out to Coach Ty who motivated me to keep going when I was thinking about reducing the times I went in to CrossFit classes. I joined Veni Vidi Vici gym December 1, 2019 - I had been an avid gym member since 2014 and finally made the plunge to a CrossFit gym. I cannot say enough great things about this place. From the moment I contacted them on their site I was impressed - their response to me was in less than 4 minutes. The following day I went in for a trial class and immediately felt at home. The coaches are top notch and incredibly personable, approachable and always very helpful. I also made immediate connections with other members, everyone was so welcoming and helpful when I first started. Everyone is quick to assist you to ensure there are no injuries or incorrect form. I also love that they offer 6 different types of classes, 7 days a week. There is always an option, and it's not all CrossFit. I have always been pretty athletic, but over the past 2 years struggled with dropping the pesky last 10 pounds (or more). A month after committing to VVV I participated in their 30 day nutrition challenge. Throughout the challenge everyone was extremely supportive, pushing me to put in extra work and guided my meals. After 30 days I lost 8 lbs. and 9 lbs. of fat!!! I learned how to eat better and make better decisions. Since the challenge ended, I've lost 5 more lbs. and 23 lbs. in the past 13 months. I feel incredible. And I feel a lot stronger, my push ups look legit now! I want to commend this gym for their constant commitment to their members, even during these tough times. When the gym was forced to close, the coaches coordinated us to borrow equipment for our home workouts and quickly set up Zoom classes...and lots of options throughout the week. The coaches are highly engaged with us in class, ensure we have proper form prior to starting the workout and call us out in front of everyone for slacking.
