I had been to this park a while ago, but it seemed that they have upgraded it a bit since then. The major impressive addition is their splash pad, which is like a mini water park. They have have the water not just shooting up from the ground, but areas they can climb up into, water coming from above with small arches and giant flower sculptures. Multiple buttons to activate different water features. They make this available to 8 pm, but it would be nice with the Vegas heat if the parks allowed this till 9 pm. The playground is smaller, one less traditional but geared towards older kids, and a smaller one for the littles. Both these areas are very well covered by shade clothes above. They have unique saucer type swings off to the side and a small rock climbing cave. They also have a large basketball court. Parking is street parking primarily, but there is a small parking lot as well. read more

Reunion Trails Park is an amazing splash pad for little ones! My baby had a blast on his very first visit to a splash park. He was a little unsure at first, but once he got comfortable, he couldn't stop smiling and playing in the water. The park is clean, family-friendly, and has great amenities, including a playground, basketball courts, and restrooms. We'll definitely be back for more fun and summer memories! read more

With plenty of shades, a splash pad, several basketball courts, and climbing structures, there is an appeal to children of different ages and preferences. Our girls spent at least an hour here and enjoyed the monkey bars and the dome-like structure with a rock climbing wall. Behind the playground is an extensive walking trail and track which we did not explore but we would have had we spent more time there. read more

This is my all time favorite childhood park. I love this park and it takes me back to my old childhood. When they installed the Electronic Playground, OMG that shit was sooooo fire. I remember leaving the park after a sunny afternoon and hearing the sounds from the Electronic Playground. It gives me that tone of Dance floor Drum and Bass. I love the Electronic Park because its my most favorite of all time. The trail behind the School and the Park is a trail. Maybe one day I will rent an E Bike if I am on a Vegas Trip alone and grab my JBL Speaker and play James Hypes Waterfall (DNB Bootleg) on repeat for so long that I cant stop. The speed of the E Bike gives me that tone of going fast that I also will have a Black Backpack with the Excision Codename X Album cover on the background with a iPhone stand and going out far till I cant stop but I just keep going. read more

This has been and always will be one of the best parks anyone can ever go to! There is a splash pad, well lit basketball court, swings, a smaller kid playground and one for older kids. What really sets the park apart though and the games. The larger kid playground has an integrated game system that essentially boils down to a bunch of buttons all around the playground and you have to run around and press them either by yourself, or in a group. There is also a game (can be seen in my pictures) which is essentially a small platform that you and at least one other person stand on with a small screen in the middle. There are several games that can be played which involve shifting your weight on the platform. It's kind of had to describe, but no matter your age, it's a blast to play. Reunion Trails is the spot for one of the best splash pads in the area and a different type of playground. The splash pad is the best part of this park. It's only second to Mission Hills in the Henderson area. The splash pad is large and spread out with an excellent variety of water features. There is a raised concrete area for small children to play away from bigger kids. I appreciate the idea, but I'm always worried my daughter will fall out of it. Other moms I meet here love it so it may just be me. The playground area is good for climbers and has large canopies to protect from the sun. There is a small playground for younger kids. It has a slide, binoculars, and climbing ropes. There is a climbing object nearby to simulate a rock climbing wall. The larger play area has unique equipment that is far from a traditional playground. The four swings are all bucket style for younger kids. For the adults, this park connects up to the walking trails for nearby parks. There are clean bathrooms, a basketball court, a large field, and a couple of covered areas with picnic tables. This is a pretty descent park in Henderson. It's especially nice in the summertime since it has a big splash pad, one of the bigger and better ones in the area. The kids all seem to really enjoy the little "river" that flows in the splash area. The park also has unique and unusual playground equipment. There are lots of climbing opportunities here as well. There is a huge picnic area which is great for parties or just to sit on the shade. Parking isn't the greatest. There is a small parking lot or there is parking available on the street around the park. Summertime and springtime seem to be the busiest seasons. Other things to note at this location are the basket ball court, a huge grassy area, a workout park, bathrooms, a water fountain and lots of shade. read more

This park is great. We discovered it on our way home from shopping in the nearby area. Our son needed to burn off some energy before going home, so we decided to stop by. There's a basketball court, a shaded picnic area, 2 climbing rocks, 2 play areas for the young kids and older kids with unique equipment and a small stage area to have pretend shows. And the best part, a splash pad!!! It was quite a large splash pad. It wasn't opened when we visited, but I know we will be here again since it's starting to get warm. The park is in a safe area and the park was clean. The restrooms were also tidy, which is a huge plus. Totally mom approved! read more

The last place that I reviewed was the I-215 Eastern Beltway Trail (abbreviated I-215 Trail). Despite the fact that it leads to unlimited adventures, writing a Yelp review leads to a character limit. If characters were unlimited this review would of expanded on my hiking adventures. Fortunately creativity is unlimited. So, being creative I will review Réunion Trails Park (abbreviated RTP) as both a component of hiking on the I-215 Trail with the Amargosa Trail and neighborhood park.   RTP is the primary open space that bridges the I-215 Trail at the north with the Amargosa Trail at the south. In the process of discussing this 12-acre park, it is important to describe the two trails that bridge it. Between Horizon Ridge Parkway at the south and I-215 at the north and from Eastern Avenue to the west and  South Black Mountain and the Henderson Spaghetti Bowl to the east there are two major parellel trails. The northernmost one is the I-215 Trail. In Henderson it follows the eastbound 215 from Eastern Avenue to Acacia Demonstration Gardens. South of it the Amargosa Trail bridges Eastern Avenue to Black Mountain-South and Sloan Canyon. In the heart of this trail network is RTP.   Regardless that RTP has a parking lot, I have parked at a Stephanie Street coffee shop near Paseo Verde Parkway or the Fiesta Henderson. After supporting Starbucks or Hi Coffee, I'd walk a few hundred feet along Stephanie Street to the Amargosa Trail. Around a half a mile into the hike it leaves Paseo Verde where it weaves through the south portion of RTP. I would circle the park then continue on the Amargosa Trail to Gibson or Las Palmas then walk the I-215 Trail west into the park then back. On a longer hike from Fiesta Henderson, I'd hike Union Pacific Railroad Trail through Acacia Demonstration Gardens where it changes into the I-215 Trail and continue westbound into RTP.  With all I said in the last paragraph, I have good news and bad news. The good news is that RTP is a picturesque spot that adds significantly to a Henderson hiking adventure. The bad news is that the City of Henderson with the Clark County School District are condemning a major portion of this picturesque park and vital trail hub to build an elementary school. From this point on I will focus on this threatened 12 acre park.   What makes RTP a super star of the Henderson park system is that it is a neighborhood park and component of the trail system. There are Amargosa and I-215 Trail kiosks in the park. In the northern boundary is the only stretch of the I-215 Trail with light posts. However, RTP is more than a trail connection. The southern portion is devoted to children. There is a large playground and splash pad. Celebrating the desert there is a surface lizard painting. Touring east of the playground at the southeast corner is a grand view of the Las Vegas Strip rising above picnic tables and open space. In the wildflower bloom yellow flowers come to life. As you travel north the concrete pavement of the play area leads into a fitness trail that encircles the open space. At the center east is a large fitness station. To the west is the open space with a softball field. Bordering the park to the west and east are houses. Continuing north there is a fork leading to the I-215 Trail and one continuing west. Trees and bushes border the open space that is now to the north and a dog park to the south. Before headed north towards the playground there is another link to the I-215 Trail with another parking lot. It is from this angle facing southeast where you can take in a grand view of South Black Mountain with open space. It's not too far from here where you can see something that has grown besides the shade tree. It is the sign that says there will be an elementary school coming soon.   In my opinion it is crap to spoil a special park to build an elementary school when there was and is currently sufficient land to build a nearby elementary school. Speaking of crap. The one issue I found is there was a lot of dog crap. Otherwise it is miraculously clean. From all the time that I spent here I rate it highly as a picturesque neighborhood and vital trail connection. It's a shame that most of it will be the victim of the bulldozer. Found this park because the friends and I needed a place to eat and a place for the kids to play. It was also close to one of the restaurants that we picked food from. The parking is easy because there's a small lot and street parking. There's plenty of tables to sit at. They are a bit dirty so bring something to clean it. The tables are also covered so it's nice to just sit out there while you watch your kids play. My friends appreciated it. There were a lot people at the time we went but there was plenty of things for the kids to play with. I don't know what they are called but it looks fun - climbing rocks, swings, merry go around, things of that nature. The women's restroom is clean. They had toilet paper but no hand soap or paper towels, so just to be warned. Overall it's a nice park and it's great to hang out at. read more

This park has a lot to offer for kids- a climbing structure, a seasonal splash pad, and lots of wide open space. But I came here for a nap. No, I'm not a hobo AND I'm not kidding. This is why I keep a picnic blanket in my trunk. Turns out, I powered through my lack of sleep because there was so much to do here. Took a short run, did some body weight exercises on some of the stations with equipment, strolled through the meditation garden, and then sat very, very still trying to get a bunny to come up to me. For real. This is a pretty cool park, mostly for kids, but adults will find enough to do too. There are great views of the city lights as the sun goes down, and there's even a clean bathroom. Bonus points for picnic tables, grills, and a dog area around the back. read more

Dog park. Small but nice. Grassy area surrounded by wide gravel walking area. One picnic table, one bench. Lots of medium sized trees around the perimeter. Five solar powered lights so probably good at night. Sign on the gate says closed Thursdays around noon for cleaning. On this Tuesday morning, the park was very clean. Worst part - the water station is OUTSIDE of the fence! Why?! Either bring a bucket or plan to leash up and take your dog out every time they need a drink. read more

Having a toddler makes you scope out the parks here in Vegas. Boy, am I glad we found this one! Close to Gibson and 215, this park is easy to get to, with a small parking lot and street parking available. We went both Sat and Sun and had no problem finding one. It's sectioned off, with a playground for the older kids and a separate one for the smaller toddlers. Then, there's a variety of water sprouts, fountains, even a small wading area. The cool thing is that the kids can turn these waters on themselves! They can splash around by a sprout squirting in all directions, run through a spray of water, and even have water hoses the kids can turn in different directions. I've been to numerous parks where there's water during the summer, but this park has the most interactive. For all ages. There's tables and benches for birthday parties, even a basketball court for older kids further back, it's very clean, and the playgrounds are shaded. We'll be back next weekend! read more

What a gem in the desert! Located just off stephanie & paseo verde, this park has something for everyone. Theres a huge field for playing sports, trails to walk, a dogpark, skatepark, basketball courts (well-lit too), picnic tables, and of course, the de rigateur playground. The playground has several sections. Theres the splash park, which i cant review because its closed for the winter. Then theres the swing area , with swings for big and little kids. Like most henderson parks, the swings arent covered, but you get used to this here. Theres a large rock/cave with climbing footholds, and then there are the two main playgrounds. Both are filled with interesting, non-traditional playground equipment. Your kids will get a good workout (and lets face it, we all want that so that theyll SLEEP, right?!?). The little guys area has a slide and climbing apparatus. My two year old LOVES it. Kids younger than two probably wouldnt find it as fun as itd be too challenging. The older kids area is beyond description. There are spinners galore and lots of really cool stuff to climb on and pretend youre spiderman. Its so cool, Ive actually spotted teenagers playing here! Its also rarely crowded, theres a bathroom, its well lit, and has a gorgeous view of the cityline. Parking is sparse but since its rarely crowded, this is pretty much a non-issue. This area is a perfect example of City of Henderson Department of Parks & Recreation getting things right. There is a huge dog park with lots of green grass surrounded by a dog run, as well as a shaded bench and a picnic table to sit at. Dogs and humans are friendly and well-behaved for the most part. Saturday evenings tend to be the most popular time, and workday mornings are the least popular. They do not separate large dogs from small dogs. There are always plenty of poop bags and the poop can is never overflowing. There are walking trails, a large sports field with a fence for baseball. In the summer, soccer teams use the field for practice all afternoon. There are several basketball courts. They have outdoor gym equipment that seems brand new and in fantastic condition. Around the walking trails they have signs posted with QR codes you can scan that tell you different workouts to do at different parts of the trail. There are covered picnic areas and a covered playground with a splash pad, which is nice because then it is usable pretty much year round. They are doing construction on Chapata right now so parking is limited (especially when it is time for parents to pick their kids up from soccer practice), but you can park on the other side of the park and walk over as well. There is a sign saying that the playing fields and dog park are temporary features as they plan to build a school there, but I don't know when that will happen. Enjoy this while you can! Edit: just yesterday there was a huge roll of trash bags at the dog park and now they are completely gone. I'm pretty sure someone stole them. This is why we can't have nice things. Edit #2: some Good Samaritan brought a bunch of grocery bags and left them here. Faith in humanity restored! read more

The first time I visited this park was when my boys martial arts school had their back to school party/potluck here and I must say, I was pretty impressed. I love how everything was close...how they designed it was perfect for my little family. My kids were able to do what they wanted all within a small vicinity. The covered picnic tables were pretty much in between the playground and the splash pad and the basketball courts were right next to the splash pad. The fact that my two older boys can play basketball and the younger two can play around the splash pad and still keep an eye on all four of them was a major plus for me. Especially since the normal splash pad park we go to, the basketball court is on the other side of the parking lot. Now the splash pad, was a pretty good size with a lot of area to run and play in. I thought the size was perfect for older kids and toddlers alike. The park also has a great view of the strip. I didn't notice it til I was pushing my daughter on the swing. I can only imagine how it would look while the sun is setting. Definitely one I would like to see. read more

Fabulous park. Big grass area for soccer, water park for hot months and plenty of things to climb on. The shade is usually pretty good too, but they had to take a few shade covers down. I hope they put these back up soon. My kids also like the basketball courts. It is a good well rounded park with lots of seating to keep an eye on your kids. Bring towels and a change of clothes every time though when water park is on because even if they say they aren't going to get wet they will be soaked! It is a little bit hidden on Paseo Verde and close to chapata. read more

Love this park. First of all, they have a really cool splash pad, which includes this trough-like feature with about 2" running water in it. This is great because a) the water gets a little warmer while cycling through in the sun, unlike most splash pads where the water is freezing and b) really little kids can still enjoy playing in the water, even when they're too scared of the spraying jets. Big playground with a little kids area and a big kids area, offering some very unique play structures. Huge grassy field. Easy to get to because it's right off 215, but it's still kinda far from my house. read more

It's also right off of I-215, so it's very convenient. We will probabvy make this our go-to weekend park. read more

Pros: It's big, new and has a huge splash pad and grass field. It is well taken care of and a great addition to the Henderson area. Cons: Although it has equipment made for the two different age categories of it is a little tough for the little ones to really enjoy. The equipments comes with instructions and the swings are not really covered so it makes it very hot to really enjoy in the summer. I do want to go back and take my older son there I think he would enjoy it but my two younger ones were ready to leave after 15 min. read more

This park is so cool and fun for many ages! They have the coolest toys, basketball, a track and field...and an awesome spray park! Parking hasn't been a problem even on busier days-they have a small lot but plenty of street parking as well. The last time we came (May) the spray park was barely operating though which was the reason for our visit. We did have to leave and go to another park on that particular day but I am hoping our next visit will be better in regards to the splash pad. read more
