Hotworx, the 24 hour infrared fitness studio, is the first that I know of to bring a holistic approach to wellness and fitness with heated infrared saunas with virtual workouts here. And now I'm seeing there's the demand and noticing the trend of infrared saunas popping up at traditional gyms.. but I will share with you why I love coming here to Hotworx over the big box gym more now! I've fallen in love with working out in an infrared sauna. The heat mixed with infrared energy makes doing ISO (ie yoga, Pilates, Barre, core, and HITT) style workouts feel ahhhmazing! The heat gives my bones and joints the extra support they need. I can do deeper stretches, have better mobility, gain more strength.. and I honestly, I feel my body recovers quicker and sweating out the toxins helps with clearer complexion too! The virtual instructors in the infrared sauna sessions make you feel like they're right there guiding you--challenging you, giving you options and also beginner-friendly, no pressure to be a pro. My hula sis first told me how much infrared helped her heal, and my husband shared how infrared light eased his shoulder pain --so I gave it a try, signed up for 3 months, and I'm glad I did. Now I spend about 80% of my fitness time here instead of a traditional gym because the results just hit different. I also love how easy it is to stay consistent. The app lets me book sessions, track progress, follow my goals, and even watch virtual tutorials. This Henderson studio itself is spotless. They sanitize constantly, steam clean equipment, and have wipes and sprays everywhere. It feels good knowing the space is truly cared for. I love that the environment does not feel overwhelming nor I feel rushed or intimidated using equipment.. the saunas can share up to 3 friends. Their patented rowing machine, the different workout cycles, and the functional training area (FX ZONE) keep things fun and challenging. A HUGE plus, the owner Holly and staff here goes above and beyond with little touches: like oranges for post-workout fuel, cold towelettes infused with essential oil, they motivate members thru fitness challenges, and reward them during their 90-day "earn the burn" challenge. You can tell they value their community. My contract is month to month basis. There are two types of memberships. I started out last year with the basic package.. then upgraded to the elite one couple months ago because there's a Hotworx studio nearby wherever I travel to! It's worth the investment for my health and well being. Longevity for my body is priority now, so if you are for a workout that can be easier on the joints but powerful for strength, flexibility, mobility and recovery and just overall well-being --infrared training is a game changer! Cute spot that's open 24 hours right off of Eastern & 215. I tried a free stretch class (keep in mind, these are virtual instructors on a tv screen) & had the sauna all to myself. I was provided with a mat, foam roller & towel, and I brought my own water bottle and face towel. The temp was set to 125° and I kept it at that the entire time (total of 45min workout). I would say it was very clean, the staff member checking me in was informative & nice, but not pushy. I would recommend if you enjoy hot workouts! read more

I've avoided the gym for far too long. I can't stand crowded gyms, where people are hovering/ waiting to pounce on your machine as soon as you think about getting off. I don't like gyms where I feel like I'm just getting judged left and right. HOTWORX is NOT that. I love it here. The saunas are private. The workouts are intense- but not too crazy where I can't do them. It's open 24/7. The staff is friendly. And I love the heat, but if that's not for you, then you can keep it cool. I've been coming here for almost a year and I've seen so many benefits! Better sleep, weight loss, flexibility +++ I also love that you earn rewards for every workout! This gym is great but beware before signing the contract. I had to cancel due to my budget which since I met my contract time I thought would be free. However I didn't realize I still had to pay a cancellation fee. Also you have to go in to do it during business hours. Just don't want anyone else to get confused. Usually gym memberships when you fulfill the contract you can just cancel not PaY to cancel. Gym is clean and having the option of 24 hour is nice. Just a bit out of my budget right now. read more

When I finally went back for the 6th time today to meet with someone in person(since you can't cancel over the phone, online or via the website) the lady was just so rude! I signed up online during the Black Friday promotion-- I had my first sessions today! It was a very unique experience in the best way! I had a very close friend of mine recommend this studio and emphasized the friendly atmosphere. The lovely ladies in the front gave me the run down and did so in simple, easy to remember terms. For a gym that is owned and primarily operated by women, it was very disheartening to see how they handled a case of harassment towards a woman. My friend was harassed by a man via a situation where he demanded to share a sauna. To clarify, he invaded her personal space, said very rude things, and proceeded to mock her. This occurred with multiple women and it happened on more than one occasion. But the fact was he never even asked to share a sauna, he just did it and claimed it was his right. Not only that, but he was only talked to, not banned from the location or the gym itself. According to Hotworx Contract, under "Courtesy", it states people "may" be asked to share saunas as a method of accommodating other guests and foster "group improvement," it is not a requirement. In the "Cleanliness and Conduct" section of that same contract "Negative Attitudes" is one of the behaviors that can result in termination of membership. It made me disgusted to think that people can get away with things just because of how much money they bring the company or who they are friends with (my friend was the one that recommended this gym to me so I guess if they want to play that game that way, we can). Besides, how is that going to look if a woman has a problem with a man, then shows up and he's still there because all he got was a talking to? The gym is 24 hours but there isn't always staff on site. Now this woman is potentially alone with a man that knows she went to management on him. Do the math. As a man myself, I realize how it comes across to be a physically larger individual. In a cramped space, being near strangers in an environment where tight/revealing clothing, strange positioning, and proximity to each other are all factors, men have to be aware of the fact that some women just aren't going to be comfortable with working out 3 feet from male strangers in a sweat box. And that is perfectly okay, there are other workouts and equipment at that location. Have some respect if they say no and go do your workout somewhere else. Pick a different time slot or sauna. There are tons of options. But always ask and put yourselves in their shoes when they give a negative answer. Lastly the cancellation. For a case of harassment, they did not even offer to waive the cancellation fees in my friend's case. This is the literal least that could be done. I even gave them a "second" chance during my cancellation, and they still made me pay. And to date, I haven't heard back on if they ever went to my friend to pay her back. As Joey Swoll always says "You need to do better." If you are a woman who doesn't want big, sweaty men towering over you in a sauna while you downward dog, I would suggest finding an alternative to Hotworx until they fix their Codes of Conduct and actually abide by them. read more

I found Hotworx during my postpartum period with my second child. I was a heavy Crossfitter/weightlifter for years but some medical things made it so I can't really do that anymore. I read through my medical community (hEDS) that the infrared sauna along with the isometric style workouts is very beneficial for me. That combined with the super flexible schedule (toddler and a baby at home!) made me want to give it a try. It's been a big mental change for me to completely change my workout style but I'm so glad I have. I feel better and am actually getting myself back after losing it a bit becoming a mom. I love the HIIT style workouts after a long day. I also think having the open functional fitness area is great as I do miss weight training and hitting those PRS. Shower and amenities available. Ashley was also super helpful in the signup process and worked with me over the phone as I couldn't make it during staffed hours (again! Flexibility!) The ONLY thing I wish could be added would be some more weight plates for the barbell they have. I think there is only a pair of 45s and 2 sets of 5s. But maybe I am missing them since I'm always there late at night with no staff! (Correct me if I'm wrong and I'll take this part out haha) But that's such a small thing and I understand I'm probably a minority in wanting to add that. Still 5 stars! read more

This is the only hotworx close to my house and it's pretty annoying that you gotta pay all this money and you get some old equipment. The bikes are all clunky and old. the seats move around, the bikes make crazy noises . And it's frustrating wouldn't recommend coming to this one try the one on jones or centennial hills read more

I've been a member of this gym since before it even opened I used it for about 3 months then had to move out of the area tried to call several times over the phone to cancel because I just couldn't get there and nobody would ever answer the phone and when I finally got somebody she said I could cancel she would send me an email. The only email I got was some weird email that didn't have any link to click to cancel anything it was just basically hot works propaganda. So I tried to call back numerous times. Nobody would answer the phone yet again so then I finally got this really nice gal and she told me I was canceled this was around March or April 2021. Come to find out they are still charging me so I called again and they're telling me now I have to come down to cancel and I can't get there right away. Mind you they charged all through Covid and you couldn't even use their facilities. So from the time I tried to cancel until now they have taken $1616 of my money and they just keep taking it even though I have made several attempts to cancel and was told I was cancelled and they can clearly tell by their machine that you have to put a code in each time that I haven't been to their facilities in several years. I'm just not sure where customer service comes in but they have none. This is just a warning to people before they sign up for this gym and this seems to be a problem with this facility. Make sure you go down there in person and get proof that you have canceled because they will lie to you over the phone. I feel really bad for you if you have to move out of state because forget it you're never going to be able to cancel your membership they will just take your money. read more

I signed up for a free class after searching for a hot yoga studio (mine closed). A friend has been a client of Hotworx and raved about it, so it was a no-brainer. I had to reschedule my free class time and Brooke was able to help me by phone, and also texted me a confirmation of the rescheduled session. Mary gave me a great tour, explained how the studio/gym works, items to buy, competitions, the app and more. It was definitely an easy decision to make. They had a great enrollment promo going too which added to the incentives. Very clean facility and I just went to Hot Thunder sesh after hours and felt safe. I actually did enjoy this gym until I needed to cancel, I had a 12 day conversation with the owner via email. She explained how there were two options. Paying one fee of $99 or 60 days with access to the facilities. Since I haven't been able to go for health reasons, I chose the one time fee. But asked if my January payment was included into that fee because I knew it did not go through. I got no response. Eventually she did send something stating just one time fee that was it. I accepted the offer, she asked for my CC via email, didn't work. I wasn't able to call for another 2 days, and they didn't want to take my card over the phone because they didn't know the situation. (They'll take my card via email, where it can be copied, but not over the phone). By my own free will I just went in to do final payment, I hadn't been able to talk to anyone for a few days and I just wanted the account closed. They did mention they were calling, unfortunately the gym is marked "unknown" when they call so I didn't answer. When I discussed it to the front desk they said they were having computer problems, charges not going through. I told them it was no problem and gave them a card. They charged me the month of January and the one time payment. I explained that must have been an error due to talking to Holly prior via email. I later got an email stating this was no mistake and "good luck in 2023!" Personally that last part felt like a slap in the face considering what happened. When you enter this gym it's about $100 then another $150 for supplies. They don't tell you that part. You literally need to invest being here. Cause I'm officially out at least $350 not including monthly fees. The owner has 48 hours to rectify this situation before I take it to the Better Business Bureau and consumer affairs due to the fact that I have everything in writing. Shady tactic is not how you from relationships, and I definitely don't plan on returning to this place. read more

What a hidden gem!! Ever since the hot yoga studios around town closed, I've been looking for something similar. Drove by the HotWorx in Henderson off horizon ridge and made an appointment soon after. The staff texted me to remind me of my appointment and gave me a heads up on what I needed to bring. Nothing like being prepared, I love it! The staff is so friendly and the studio is always clean. The saunas are so intimate with classes at all hours of the day which really allow you to adapt to the workouts based on how you feel with no judgement! They even provide shower necessities which makes running errands after much easier! The little gym in the back is an added bonus. This place is all that and then some! Shout out to Elizabeth and Holly for making me feel like a HotWorx warrior the day I signed up and every day since! You would be doing yourself a disservice ignoring your curiosity of the place. This is a small but mighty studio! If you love the heat and you love the gym then you will love this design of working out while inside a infrared sauna. The concept is ingenious to say the least. You are getting a great workout in less time, burning more calories, all while having the health benefits of the sauna. A double whammy to say the least! Added bonus: they also have free weights and machines to utilize in the back of studio to gain more strength in your daily workout routine, 24 hour access for members, and virtual trainers on a TV showcasing the exercises. I like to try new workout places, so I took advantage of their holiday bundle sale $149/with mat and towel for 1 month unlimited access.
