It's clean, modern, and they have tons of equipment. they also offer eucalyptus towels at the end of each class. It's a small but nice touch that really takes them to another level and separates them from other studios. The coaches and owner also make the classes really engaging and fun. I usually struggle to push myself to get a work out in but the crowd here (mostly women!) are so supportive and fun that it doesn't feel like a chore and the hour flies by. I would highly recommend this gym and the workouts can be modified for all fitness levels.

History lesson: LA Fitness started in Southern California in 1984, exploded across the country in the '90s, and has been serving up gym memberships ever since. They've built an empire on ellipticals and broken promises. This Coral Springs location carries that proud tradition--equal parts convenience and chaos. The good news? It's convenient. It's a gym. You show up, you sweat, you leave. The rest? Well... let's just say the glory days of this place are hiding somewhere under a pile of busted cup holders. Half the machines here are held together by duct tape and prayer. The steam room? Don't bother. It's been down so long it should qualify as a historical ruin. The jacuzzi? Looks less like a relaxation zone and more like a breeding ground for Swamp Thing. It's not hydrotherapy--it's biohazard therapy. And yet, here I am--still showing up. Because at the end of the day, a gym is a gym, and you get out what you put in. The treadmill doesn't care if the cup holder is broken, it cares if you're broken. This isn't a luxury spa--it's gladiator training with slightly better lighting. You don't join LA Fitness for perfection--you join because it's there. However, when it came to experience with machines and the gym amenities I was not satisfied. There was a couple of machines that were out of service. I also noticed that the steam room and jacuzzi have been out of service for more than 3 months. I feel if we have a membership we should be able to use amenities of the club. I love this gym and would like to fully enjoy everything it has to offer.

She then asked us to sign in..not in a friendly way..she just shoved the clipboard at us and said "sign" and walked away. We were there 10 minutes and it started to pour rain. Scott, a really nice life guard, told us we had to get out of the pool but we could get vouchers to return. The same lady told us we had to wait 30 minutes. We did. It was still pouring so we went back in for the voucher. She totally ignored us, working away at her computer. After 5 minutes of just standing there we left without the voucher. Money wasted, rude front office employee...don't waste your money here.

The pools and dive well speak for themselves as top notch training/teaching facilities, but the fitness center is also a little gem, which has stayed open throughout. This is NOT a fashion gym - no cute color schemes or posing bodybuilders (although you may -like I was! - be exercising next to an Olympic champion who is also just there for the work-out), and no one is intruding into your routine. That's what I love about it: it's a place for everyone, with no judgment, no airs, and every age and body type you can imagine, just trying to stay fit and healthy. Lots of machines and free weights, you can contract with a trainer if you want, and it's inexpensive. Best of all it's never crowded. Can't wait to see everything finished!
