Through the recommendation of a friend, I now take the morning classes with Marissa 3 to 5 times a week. She keeps a variety of ever changing exercise exercises that keep me from being bored or having to make decisions. She tells us what to do, and we do it. And I'm seeing results. When life is too hectic and I can't get in, I notice that my body really misses it. It's 30 minutes long so super fast and easy. She is uplifting and inspiring. Thrive also sell supplements and protein powder and I appreciate again not having to make additional decisions so I get them there. I'm grateful to support this place and share in how it is helping me feel like me again. And I appreciate how Marissa checks in with us if we've missed a class. They are refusing a hand delivered cancellation notice by my representative and are demanding it be mailed. This violated California law. Cancellation for Cause (Civ. Code 1812.89): Members can cancel if they move more than 25 miles from the facility or become disabled. California Civil Code 1812.85(b)(1) "...To cancel this agreement, mail, email, or deliver a signed and dated notice that states that you, the buyer, are canceling this agreement, or words of similar effect. The notice shall be sent via first-class mail, via email from an email address on file with the health studio, or DELIVERED IN PERSON TO (Name of health studio operator) at (Address and email address of health studio operator)." I have sustained a massive injury. I have constant pain and a spinal fluid leak and can no longer do any kind of physical activity. I have been trying to cancel since the end of March. The gym manager demanded I come in person, or mail a letter along with my medical documents as proof in order to receive a refund or to process my cancellation. I have tried informing them over the phone that what they are doing is illegal. I do not have the ability to come in person or go to the post office. They should have accepted the hand delivered letter my father tried to deliver. They don't care. They refuse to process my cancellation continuously. There are multiple accounts of them doing this to other customers online. This can't continue.

My husband and I were…read morelooking for a workout that fulfilled his want of strength training and my want of group fitness/ HIIT classes. After looking all over Google and Yelp, I found Kindle. We did our 3 day trial and we were extremely humbled by the workout, but wow it was exhilarating! We immediately signed up for both of us to be members. What stood out to us in those three days were the format of strength and conditioning, but also the intense care and eye of the coaches. I thought I knew how to do a deadlift, but with Coach Broc, I learned that boy was I wrong! The workouts are intentional to build our strength in the strength portion and I genuinely have never been stronger in my life. We have hit personal records, one after the other, with the careful coaching from the coaches here. Coach Sina, Sara, Broc, Victor, and Chris really make you feel accomplished and safe when learning new moves (trust me, I am a mega beginner at lifting)! I now feel more confident in what I can do and I have seen such drastic changes in my mental and physical health. Not even a year in, my husband and I signed up to do singles DEKA Mile. If you asked me a year ago what that was, I wouldn't have been able to tell you. We invited our parents and our close friends and they were so amazed by what we had accomplished. I was so nervous going into it, but all of the workouts and coaching made it possible for my husband and I to finish in sub 40 minutes! (what a feat for a beginner if you ask me) Genuinely, this is the best choice that I have ever made for my husband and I. We have such a loving and caring community through Kindle and have made some lifelong friends that truly care about us. Without noticing, this place became our third space and we both are so grateful to everyone there. There's one thing you will never regret, investing in your mind and body!
