We see him learning and enjoying his peers. He comes home with a smile every day. I can't say enough wonderful things about the staff and owner. From the moment we enrolled our child, we've been impressed with their caring staff and nurturing environment. The teachers are incredibly patient and skilled at fostering both educational growth and emotional development. Our child looks forward to going each day, which speaks volumes about the center's warm atmosphere and engaging activities. As parents, we feel confident and grateful knowing our child is in such capable hands. Highly recommend!

We love the teachers, the administrative team, and have celebrated many milestones with classmates & their parents. KA fosters a fun, safe, and healthy environment for the kids, teachers, and parents. The teachers are always creating engaging learning activities for my son. The teachers are super helpful with techniques of transition like bottles to cups, pacifier weening, eating solids, trying new foods, potty training, riding a tricycle, etc. Drop-offs are a breeze, my son looks forward to seeing his friends and teachers each day (if they are on vacation he totally welcomes the change with ease bc all of the teachers are fantastic and he is familiar with all of them) Pickups are also joyful, the excitement to see me and joy to end the day by giving hugs and sharing goodbyes around the classroom and through out the hallways fills my heart! During COVID their mask mandate, dropoff/pickup routine and cleaning protocols kept our minds at complete ease (for our little guy health and a member in our household personal health concerns during unprecedented times). Kiddie Academy of Stonebridge-McKinney is a great school for my family.

From the office staff, to the amenities (splash pad, gym, activities, etc.), to the security and cleanliness...everything seemed perfect. Our son started off in the junior toddler class and is now in senior toddler, and both classes have been amazing! The teachers are very attentive and involved with the kids, and I love how they consistently send pictures throughout the day. They always communicate what they did that day, what he ate, even how many times he goes potty. At his old school he always had a bad diaper rash but at The Prep, they change him regularly and document each diaper change. The school is very clean and they focus on hand washing/cleanliness (even before covid) which is huge for a germaphobe like me. What led me to write this review was our most recent experience. We took a break for a few months due to Covid so my son fell behind in his language development. I expressed this concern to them and that same day they started working more with him and are giving us updates on his progress. Words can't express what this means to me. They didn't dismiss me...They care enough to take that extra time with him and send us those updates. The office staff is also amazing. They communicate with us so well and are always happy to answer my questions. I've been impressed with their involvement with the kids too. They genuinely care! They have handled this covid thing so well by communicating and enforcing measures to ensure everyone is safe. We are so so impressed with this school, and it's worth noting; My sister sends her 4 year old son there too and has had an equally positive experience. We feel comfortable leaving our kids there and have not had one red flag this entire time. They both love it there, and so do we! Thank you Prep for taking good care of my son and my nephew!!

I apologize profusely if I'm butchering the spelling but Shamika was so incredibly kind and made my little feel so comfortable that her first time there, she gave us no fuss or tears, she was just ready to go play. My kiddo still gets nervous going to her school of 2 years with her best friends there but going to this location for the first time, she felt so at ease she went and stayed 2 hours having fun while we got our first reasonably priced date night in 3 years. Sad we live in denton bc if we were in mckinney we'd use this awesome spot/awesome care givers all the time. Thank you!

Not one adult was try to help her feel better, nor talking to her & one of the care takers said,"she's just sad because her parents left." She literally looked like she was in timeout because of her crying. When you care for children, you are there for them no matter what/ no matter how many times you need to try. Taking care of children requires a special gift. They need our help constantly. 2. I picked up my son & I immediately saw his face was red, running nose & extremely hot. My son is able to speak & he told me he didn't feel good. I did not receive one phone call about my son. As a child care taker you should be more aware. Checking children constantly to make sure everything's okay. You could clearly tell something was wrong with him just by his nose running, redness on skin & just standing there like a statue. That clearly shows me that those adults don't pay close enough attention to catch something like that & my son was there for hours. He said he had been feeling that way since nap time (1pm, I picked him up around 5pm). This place of business needs way better discernment & wisdom when it comes to hiring the adults to care for children.

Oh how I wish I could give this place NEGATIVE stars!…read more My daughter started attending this place when she was less than a year old (August 2022). I had a friend whose daughter was in the Kindergarten class and had nice things to say about it. My husband and I toured it and I didn't get warm fuzzies right away from the director, Connie, but we moved forward with the enrollment process because we needed child care asap. Right away we did tell the director that our daughter has multiple severe food allergies and we filled out all the appropriate paperwork and provided her benadryl and epi-pen right away. FIRST INCIDENT: Not even two months after enrollment, we picked up my daughter on a Friday and after an hour being home she started breaking out in hives everywhere. She didn't have anything to eat at home. My husband had to give her the epi-pen. Right away, I sent an email to the director and let her know what happened. Connie let us know that her normal teachers weren't in the class that day, it could have been possible that someone gave her something she wasn't supposed to have. Of course by Monday the people we talked to couldn't remember if she ate something. The learning moment from that was that a teacher would sit by her at every meal/snack. My daughter was in the older infant class and we liked her teachers in there, never had problems. It wasn't until the summer of this year problems started happening. She moved into the younger toddler class, her teachers in there were also nice and loving to the students. This summer the owner decided to sell their Castle Montessori to Cadence Education. The director, Connie, left and the admin left not long after her. The new director, Ms. Nilima, was not approachable and very cold in those first weeks, maybe up to a month. She never made eye contact when my daughter and I entered the building. How could you not acknowledge who enters the building, especially at a child care facility?! During the summer we enrolled my Kindergartener here for their summer program. WORST program ever! We paid weekly tuition that was supposed to include weekly field trips, which some were cancelled due to the weather but nothing was every rescheduled. It was a waste of money. The final straw was when my daughter had ANOTHER allergic reaction!!! They claimed that she woke up in hives, ok, the director called us multiple times (I work in an area where I can't have my phone with me), she didn't leave my husband and I voicemails. My husband called back and the person on the phone just asked if they can give my daughter benadryl and of course he said yes. He decided to go to the school and they did NOTHING. She was covered in hives, she should have been given her epi-pen based on the emergency plan we provided. Ms. Nilima wasn't around, and my daughter was in her classroom, with her teachers putting her eczema lotion on her. She should have at least been at the front office being monitored for anaphylaxis. Multiple emails were exchanged after this incident. The director's responses were just appalling, with no empathy, and thinking she knows better than what a doctor says to do in an emergency. We pulled her out immediately, there was NO WAY we could trust this place every again. We had a meeting with the director a few days after the incident, she finally apologized and took full responsibility. She mentioned her staff will go through more training, but the damage was done. We demanded our full deposit back and never looked back. What really got me fired up was when I asked the director if they were going to self report themself to the state regarding this incident. Her response was no because an ambulance or ER visit didn't occur....WTF?!?!? Herself and the staff was clearly not capable of handling the situation.....or reading an emergency plan and FOLLOWING it. Honestly, I hope every parent reads this and stays far, far, away! This incident happened end of August this year and still makes my blood boil.
