Disappointed- 2 incidents. 1. I had brought my son & as soon as we got there, there was a little girl (toddler age) sitting in a chair just sobbing. Not one adult was try to help her feel better, nor talking to her & one of the care takers said,"she's just sad because her parents left." She literally looked like she was in timeout because of her crying. When you care for children, you are there for them no matter what/ no matter how many times you need to try. Taking care of children requires a special gift. They need our help constantly. 2. I picked up my son & I immediately saw his face was red, running nose & extremely hot. My son is able to speak & he told me he didn't feel good. I did not receive one phone call about my son. As a child care taker you should be more aware. Checking children constantly to make sure everything's okay. You could clearly tell something was wrong with him just by his nose running, redness on skin & just standing there like a statue. That clearly shows me that those adults don't pay close enough attention to catch something like that & my son was there for hours. He said he had been feeling that way since nap time (1pm, I picked him up around 5pm). This place of business needs way better discernment & wisdom when it comes to hiring the adults to care for children. read more

I paid for the a week of the summer program. Which they charge like some established preschools-my point is that is not cheap. They allow tablet for "special" kids. My son shared that these special kids also got outside drinks. Made me believe they may be making that up or even if they were special needs, it's not fair for other kids to be excluded. My son would get skipped and miss his turn on the X box by some of the special kids and the teachers will often not keep their word that he could use it after lunch or a later lunch. I would rather no electronics but if you are going to have them it should be fair. I will not be brining my son here anymore. read more

Brought my 3 year old twins here after a few months of consideration and I'm happy I did! Great place to drop the kiddos for a few hours! They were happy when I picked them up and one didn't want to leave. The staff at the front is very friendly and welcoming and made the initial process super simple. read more

I apologize profusely if I'm butchering the spelling but Shamika was so incredibly kind and made my little feel so comfortable that her first time there, she gave us no fuss or tears, she was just ready to go play. My kiddo still gets nervous going to her school of 2 years with her best friends there but going to this location for the first time, she felt so at ease she went and stayed 2 hours having fun while we got our first reasonably priced date night in 3 years. Sad we live in denton bc if we were in mckinney we'd use this awesome spot/awesome care givers all the time. Thank you! read more

My two school aged daughters come here occasionally, and they love it. If they cannot come, they definitely get sad. They know the staff and the staff all know my kiddos by name when we visit. When my girls are here, we know that they are safe and have lots of fun too! read more

My daughter loves going to AKP. She especially loves craft time and there's always different themes when she goes. The staff we've come across are friendly and are engaged with the kids. I've been taking my now 3 yr old son to adventure kids for over a yr and over a week ago my son was dropped off for a few hours and I normally call every other hrs to check in on him, one of the caretakers Stormy was informing me of his behavior, instead of calling me to tell me my son went to the exit door twice, they waited till I got there to pick him up and the director made it a big deal and informed me that he was not allowed to come back also he was banned from all locations. This particular location where I take him is McKinney location. Not only was it unprofessional and nasty but I felt this was something that they been wanting to do. My son is very energetic and outspoken. I also spent at least a few thousand in play care time there so how we were treated was messed up!!!. Instead of looking at the caregivers lack of attention they paying to my son, they blamed him immediately and banned him. To hell with adventure kids!!!!. read more

My 7 year old son has been going to Adventure Kids for about 2 years now, sometimes to cover me while working, sometimes for some down time. He always gets fed and can't wait to go back. He is an only child so if he had his choice between a babysitter or a bunch of kids to play with, he would choose the latter. I love when he has favorite teachers, the ones who are actively involved, it really shows in how much he likes the place. read more

Our little girl loves to come and play, with Covid we stopped coming until around March of 21'. She comes home and tells us all about her time there, some kids are pretty ornery and I know she can be too. She has a lot of fun. I purchased a $600 prepaid package and I'm unsure of why our military discount can't be applied anymore, doesn't make sense to me so I need to take a star off for that. read more

My baby loves going here! They have the option to pack a meal or to bring your own which I love for days when I'm in a bit of a rush. They are honestly my saving grace. This place is a horrible joke, we dropped our two kids off because we had a banquet to go to and it was on the weekend. We have use this place before I knew that they closed semi-late, there was a sign on the door but it was windy that day and I did not see their hand written sign. At around 8 PM when I was at the banquet I get a phone call saying that I am late to pick up my children, They say that they close early this evening because of short staff, I dropped my children off at 6 PM no one said a thing about closing early, if staff saw that we were well dressed and we had an evening planned they could've at least open their mouths and told us they closed early. We were charged a $50 late fee for picking them up "late". When I picked my kids up they told me they were hungry this facility charged us for each kid to eat and did not feed my kids. Staff also claimed that my kids ate, pretty much calling my daughter a liar saying that they fed her. But also proving that you were not watching my kids, if you were saying that they ate and they didn't. The girl upfront tried to refund me five dollars for one kid but I saw on my bank statement that it did not go through. I went ahead and made a claim for $10 because They did not feed both of my kids. I guess they had the audacity to fight it because the refund was reversed on my bank statement I can't believe this is how they do business you pretty much admitted that you don't watch my kids when they are there. Take your kids here if you want your kids "watched" and "fed". I don't give a crap about $10 but this is principle, should you be able to charge me $10 when you didn't even feed my kids??? read more

This business is such an incredible help for families like mine that need care either for short time periods or for extended care. We have used them for date nights too! We have been bringing our kids to Adventure Kids for several years now. We love the staff and that our kids enjoy coming. We have only had once incident where our foster child was attacked and put in a choke hold here. She was terrified so we took a long break from this establishment. Over the last few months we have noticed a revolving door of staff but that is to be expected at a place like this. Nevertheless, the establishment serves its purpose. read more

My 4 year old daughter has been coming here for the past 6 months or so, any time we need a date night or I have errands to run during the day. She doesn't normally like daycare but she loves adventure kids and always looks forward to going. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. We missed the meal time yesterday and they went out of their way to make her food, even though they had already cooked. I'm so glad to have this as an option when I need childcare. read more

We as a family move around a lot. We moved from Cedar Park where we found an Adventure Kids and loved it. We were beyond happy to have one here in the area. He always has fun the staff is do nice and wonderful. I love dropping him off and get my nails done cause it is by the hour I am free to drop him off and pick him up when I want. I get charged for the time and if I have him get lunch or dinner. Not having family or friends in the area this is great. My husband and I try to have a date every week and we know he is safe and happy here. To parents out there you feel you don't get time together go join! You needed doctor records and enrollment fee. Than plan on spending money on a package but before you know it goes down. But you are happy to see a movie have a romantic dinner or have time at home *wink*. read more

Love the new location! Not so much loving the new hourly prices but to be very honest for two kids $13 is not bad when you think about all the great things they have to do there. They keep them active and have lots of activities for them to participate in. I just hope they keep this place clean it seems pretty clean right now... the other place was starting to look a bit dingy but I guess that's why they changed locations and updated their stuff inside. Both of my kids love it they hug their caregivers every time they go in and they seem really sweet . I really hope they keep up with the crafts and activities on holidays it really helps make it fun for them!!! read more

I just toured the facility. I like the climbing sttucture & theater. My kiddo loves playing the video games they offer.

I had major cause for alarm with our last visit to this location. I want everyone to know that they claim it's their "policy" to not show concerned parents surveillance video due to "privacy" but they can apparently plaster your kids pictures all over their page. The only thing i was offered were stills. I have spoken to the director and corporate but surprisingly have not heard from the owner. Something wrong is happening here. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PRECIOUS KIDS HERE!! I WILL NOT STOP DEMANDING TO VIEW THE SURVEILLANCE!! As far as the owner You can wait to hear from licensing and cps!! read more

The place is of course fun for kids they don't make your kids do anything they don't want such as going to the potty (of course a 2 year says no to the potty) if you're in a pinch with child care or need a date nite prices are good $8/hr for a two year old. The staff is friendly. My son was happy and got to go to work so it was a win win!! 3 star only because the place did not smell good and I'm BIG on smells and childcare centers and they did take a 2 year old potty trainer to the potty and he came home in a diaper?!?? I didn't even pack diapers I only pack pull ups I know same diff but they weren't mine!!! Lol he will go again but I of course will let th know my concerns. read more

This has become a great place to drop my twin boys when in a bind for childcare or when just looking for an opportunity to get them out of the house during the hot summer months. They seem to really enjoy the stay, the games and activities, and snacks/meals. Will definitely use them again. read more

My 5 yr old loves going here. Friendly staff, themed activity nights etc. This is a good option if you need a little mommy time, date night or running errands but it's not for an all day type thing. It's just an open area for kids to run around and play. Make sure to label everything you take. Used them since my son was an infant,no problems at all. New location is bigger and has much more play options like basketball and play houses. read more
