My brother applied to work here and got the job. He gets there for his first shift on 5/13/2026 and management and the employees were immediately incredibly rude. They: 1. Put him in a cooler with no direction of what he was doing. 2. He asked if he could get his sweatshirt, they said "no we have a jacket for you." Not entirely stupid but still? They didn't immediately supply him with one while working in the cooler? 3. He looked at his phone for the time and to check if he had a ride home (he doesn't have a car), and was immediately told "you shouldn't be doing that" by what seems to be just a regular employee. 4. This regular employee got a manager and the manager asked if he even wanted to work there, and literally said "you should just quit now if it's a waste of time." He walked out rightfully so because what else do you even do in that situation? I'm sure there are good staff here, but the staff working this Wednesday were not good.

Very welcoming atmosphere and it's closer to the house than other liquor stores that my husband and I usually go to so I think we found our new place, even though the prices are a little higher by like 1-5 dollars per bottle, the fact that this place has a great variety with an amazing staff we will just start coming here and not have to drive far.

I get that EG is a pretty expensive town ... and normally I don't mind paying a little extra to support a local business but there are bottles of spirits in here that are $20 higher than other liquor stores for the same thing!!! Literallyz I paid $20 more than Haxton's in Warwick for the same item! That is a sort of extreme case ... but on average expect to pay $10 more for any bottle of liquor ... and $4 - $5 more for any 6 pack of craft beer than any other store in the area. Forget about comparing this place to a Total Wine, you can literally save 40% on most items shopping there vs. here. I honestly don't think I've ever seen prices this high on liquor/wine ... Not in midtown Manhattan. Not in my home of West Hollywood, CA. I won't be totally brutish ... they do have a very nicely curated selection of wines and spirits here. You aren't going to find any allocated items here ... No Weller, No Blanton's, No Pappy, etc. but they have a decent selection of bourbon, spirits and a huge amount of pre-mixed cocktails and mixers. They have craft beer ... local and far away brands ... fancy ciders, saki and other interesting but niche selections of expensive single craft bottles. The store is immaculately clean and organized well. It may be the most expensive liquor store I've ever been in but it's also maybe the most well organized. The staff isn't particularly interested in going out of their way to help you. But, if you ask them a question about wines, etc. they will make some good recommendations if they aren't too busy doing something else. I will end by saying that I was in a rush to buy liquor and wine for a dinner party that my house hosts were having. I wasn't looking too carefully at the receipt because I figured everything was just so expensive, it is what it is. However, when I got home, I found out one of the bottles I bought must have been put in the wrong place. They charged me $84 for a bottle that costs $59 anywhere else. It was next to a sign that said $65. For 8 bottles of liquor and wine and a 4-pack of craft beer, I paid more than I did for my first car in 2005. Not even kidding.

Sometimes you run out of time and need something chilled, here you can actually grab something interesting and not just that status quo options. They're knowledgeable, fun, & very willing to work within your budget & taste preferences. For a relatively small store, they have quite a varied selection of wine. I popped in to the store last night while I was waiting for my sushi order to be ready for takeout just down the road. Imagine my unbridled delight when I saw a section of the refrigerated wines labeled as "Wine For Sushi & Spicy!" I actually laughed out loud. Precisely what I was looking for, & didn't even need to ask. I went with a Grüner Veltliner & it was, as expected, delicious with my sushi. I was not in a rush so I informed Curtis that I can wait. 8 days later, Curtis texted me that the Le Berceau Blanquette de Limoux Brut was in. I walked in and I informed the cashier that I was here to pickup an online order. Curtis was also behind the counter and he jumped in and asked are you Stephanie? I said "Yes! That's me." He said he got a whole case in so I purchased another bottle. The next time I was at Campus Fine Wines was for a Yelp event. Most recently, I went back to purchase a bottle of one of the wines we tasted at the Yelp experience. I was looking around the store for the bottle and Howard approached me and asked if I needed help with anything. I said I was looking for the Benito Santos Saiar Albarino 2023. He showed me exactly where the bottles were. All the staff at Campus Fine Wines are really friendly and welcoming. Campus Fine Wines has a great selection and I trust them to have good wines.

They have a great scotch selection, including several Lowland and Islay scotches. The wine section is also pretty good, as long as you're staying within popular varietals. They carry my favorite bargains, Chateau Ste Michelle, and Rodney Strong. I wish they would expand on some of the more unique stuff, though. Their selection of ice wine, mead, ports, sherries, and nihonshu (sake) has actually shrank over the years. They also used to carry demi-sec champagne, but I haven't seen that there for years. It's all brut now (read: boring). Bring back more nihonshu, muy dulce sherries, and demi-sec champagnes!
