Not my kind of place, so I'm writing for what it offers. Plus, I was with some of the Ekklesia that we gather with on Thursday nights, and some of them are real bowlers, so I have their reactions to go by too. Crossroads Bowling Center is a somewhat time warp. It looks like it hasn't been updated since the 1990s. One of my better friends looked at the graphics that come up when someone hits a strike, spare, or gets one pin down, etc., and laughed "These are completely unchanged since the 1990s!" Not that it needs to be updated to the 2020s, and what would that look like?, but it is something to point out. Food and drink are not allowed near the actual bowling area, but this is not enforced. A few run-down rooms and bar in the back. Lanes appear to be well maintained. The big problem came when a few people rolled the ball down . . . and the ball didn't come back. We had six bowlers in our group, and ended up with two balls left. Those who brought their own balls found that they were stuck behind the pins, and the Reset button didn't work. It took several minutes before anyone working there noticed, and they did get it fixed, but we did not see that time added to our two hours to make up for the time when we couldn't play. So you could have a good time at Crossroads, but bowler beware. read more

My son and I went to the bowling alley for one on one time. We ordered some fried pickles and boudain rolls while we played. The kitchen staff is really nice and the food was pretty good. The biggest issue was the bowling alley had a smell since it is so old. read more

Awesome place to bowl when they are well staffed... Kids birthday parties are great...always attentive!! Pizza is pretty good and they offer a variety of drinks. Sometimes they book too many at a time and it's cray cray! School field trip was a wash...understaffed and unprepared!! Not a great experience! read more

We are so disappointed. My husband and I had our first date here. We drove over an hour to celebrate our anniversary today and we're treated very rudely. They are supposed to close at 10. We walked in at 8 and were told at the front desk that they were trying to close. It was obvious that they were unhappy for us to be there. The guy at the front said that someone had come in before us and they didn't come out of the back so they left. There was also a group that came in at 8:45 and were turned away. They let us bowl one game but turned of the music and already closed the concession. They mean mugged us the whole time. They even turned the lights off on us as we walked out. If they intended to close early why didn't they close the doors? We will be taking our business elsewhere in the future. I've been coming to this bowling alley with my family since I was a kid. From Houston meet some friends here never in my life I saw so meaning absurd pointless rules. I couldn't order a beer for my 47 yr husband, because each person has to order individually. I couldn't step outside, without taking their bowling shoes off. I mean I've been to upscale bowling alleys, crossroads is definitely out of touch! read more

I bowled in tournament this past weekend and the people running it suck. I've never been in a tournament where they don't have daily results and it takes a week to find out afterwards. Every tournament I've been in has results at end of day for that day and when finished has a bubble to see who made cut. I guess they do things different now. read more

I called on a Thursday at 5pm to reserve a bowling lane for 2pm Saturday and was told I had to call 72 hours in advance. You cannot reserve a single lane and you must call 72 hours in advance. I spoke with the manager, Ryan who was not helpful. I think this policy is absurd. read more

Why would anyone patronize an establishment that would refuse someone's money for a birthday party over a 3 year old's squirt bottle?!

My understanding is that this place is very racist. A family paid , then they were told that their child could not have a sippy cup in the establishment by Matt. And then Matt,told them he wasn't "going to deal with y'all" and they had to leave. Then ,when they were outside talking Matt again came out and said they had to leave because they were congregating in front of the place. No one of any race should patronize an establishment that does not know how to treat everyone equally. There is no reason that a child cannot have a sippy cup in a bowling alley. It was for a five year old child's birthday party, how ridiculous can you get? It's like they were trying to find a reason to have the people leave because they were black. This is unacceptable and this place should not be in business if they are going to discriminate. Boycott this place! read more

pretty awesome place. Went during the day and it was empty. Had to hunt down employees for help, haha. But the place is great. huge food selection including beer, nice lanes, easy to manage computer system. I had a good time. read more

That front guy with dyed hair was rude and said he can't read minds when asked about the deals. Super rude and not accommodating.

The staff here is very unpleasant and rude, definitely do not recommend. Max bowl is the place to go

Went in to establishment today at noon. 2 workers at desk; they were both very nice and friendly. I told them and showed them, i had medical disability and thus exempt from facial coverings (whether you like and agree with it or not, this is the law). These 2 were fine with this. One checked with the assistant manger. She was not okay with this. She tried to send the worker back and forth to talk to me. I asked to talk to her directly. Ultimately, she came out to talk to me and said they were a private business and everyone MUST wear a mask. I related to her i have a legitimate medical disability and showed her proof of such. She said it didn't matter and they did not have to accommodate such. I again relayed to her that just as a service dog must be accommodated (under ADA), so too must people with legitimate medical disabilities. She said she was told there would be NO accommodation. I asked for her name and she would not give it to me. I get they are a private business but they still MUST follow the law. I have filed a formal complaint with the state Attorney general. For the record, there was absolutely ZERO other customers in there...so keeping a 6' distance would have been so easy to do. Very unchristian attitude and place. read more

I feel it's my personal responsibility to inform future customers thinking of eating at the cafe located inside the bowling center. I was an employee there and I have never in my life witnessed many violations of health department , when I went to work there the kitchen was infested with roaches, often getting into food prep , and in drink cups. They were so brave to just run across the prep area while trying prepare sandwiches for customers, the food in cooler walk in was off temp and dangerously over proper temps, there was expired foods being served, they had 5 full pots of oil under the stove just sitting there because the employees were to lazy to dump it. Often oil sat there weeks growing mold and stinking, I tried to fix it but the management GM ended up firing me for trying weed out the lazy employees which she favored. The place keeps getting good health department certificates despite the conditions there. The cafe there is disgusting and wouldn't eat anything from there until management decides to correct it. I was cleaning this mess up and trying get it fixed, but was unable to complete since I was terminated. read more

Good place to go out and have fun with the family for an hour. Food is good. My only complaints are that there was no music playing and the bowling balls need bigger finger holes. Overall, it was a good experience. read more
