Falafel wrap w/ potato salad
Dana C.

Fun spot with lots of different types of food. Indoor/outdoor dining options, water station & clean bathrooms. I tried a falafel, the wrap tasted like a pancake it wasn't what I had hoped for. I will definitely go back and try a different spot within.

We have ordered food from vendors at this food court several times in the last few years. The list of vendors has almost completely changed since we first visited it over 4 years ago, but there are always at least a couple that are to our liking. It recently hosted a Foodie Passport event that let the customer get one dish from basically every vendor for a total of $50. The choice of food from each vendor was predetermined for the event. Even though the quantity of each dish was small, the cumulative amount of food from 6 different food vendors was quite large and enough for two meals. Here is my review of the dishes we tired. --The Tonkotsu Ramen from Kawa was very tasty but a bit too salty for us. We've visit Kawa's main restaurant multiple times and always liked their ramen and sushi. --The Creamy Basil Pesto Pasta from Noodle Me had both good taste and good texture. So, we expect to get food from the vendor again in the future. --The Southern Belle eggroll from Ready to Roll was very good. This is another vendor we expect to visit again. --The Termis vegan wrap seemed unique and also tasted good. We'll be glad to try other non-vegetarian dishes from the vendor next time. --The chicken and beef tacos from Mex Avenue had simple flavors and were fine. --The Yellow Coconut Curry Chicken Bowl from Nute's had tender chicken meat but was a bit blend. We prefer more flavorful curry dishes. --The gentleman at Scratch Ice Cream shop let us choose any of the flavors even though only one of the flavors was designated for the event. We tried two of them and liked both. --The Pharmacy Bar gave us sake tea, which we enjoyed for its unique flavor combination. Overall, the Foodie Passport was fun event.

I love a good food hall - and on day one in MKE I found this place that did not disappoint! The choices were diverse, so I think really anyone would be able to find a treat they would enjoy. In addition to the vendors, they also have a bar area and a water station which was perfect for my day of exploring the city. The space does loop around a bit, so on first glance it may look small, but turn the corner, because there is probably more to explore! For the warmer months, the outdoor seating was also perfect! There was plenty of seating, but I don't think it would ever really feel crowded given the layout of the areas.

Grilled tacos

Not your average food court. We had grilled broccoli taco - which was apparently a special - and the jerk chicken at a place called Kushiyaki. Yes tacos at a place with a name ending in "yaki". It is billed as Latin Asian fusion. The chicken was not over cooked, which is rare these days. . But don't expect Jamacian heat. The grilled broccoli tacos are a new take on tacos for me. I enjoy broccoli in general, I liked that it had the crunch without the edge of raw broccoli. We topped the meal off with Scratch Ice Cream. Vegan cotton candy ( my spouse eats vegan). It is tolerable for a dairy eater like me. He enjoyed it. The service is good food court service,

Love this place. They have a large variety of restaurants serving different types of fusion cuisines, making it a one stop shop for your entire family's food cravings. I went with egg and flour's pasta which tasted fresh and delicious. Once you're done ordering, they hand you a buzzer that beeps when you're food is ready. The other cuisine options here are Indian, latin, japanese and bar food.

Absolutely my favorite food place on the East side in Milwaukee. Ther eis always something new to try and I can never get bored of the food. Crossroads is a cornucopia of different restaurants and cuisines and is a food hall where you can mix and match the food and appetizers, drinks and desserts. My favorites in Crossroads are Ruta's, Mina, Thum, Scratch and The Pharmacy (get the cocktails, they are definitely hit the spot, every single time!). Try a little bit of everything, there is no right or wrong way to do Crossroads

Love that Milwaukee has this concept in the city. I enjoy all the vendors but my common go to is Scratch. They have so many unique delicious flavors. Tonight we got the salted caramel waffle cone.

Hot Wax Menu

I came to CrossRoad for Hot Wax and the chicken tenders were fire! Crispy, perfectly juicy, and just hit the spot. I wished these tenders came with free side of fries too, that would have made me give them a 5 stars. A little on the pricier side for 5 tiny tenders, but its fine. Service at the cashier was nice too. Loved being able to sit any where, so I liked the ambiance. ------------ My Star Rating Scale: 5 Stars: Blew my mind, had a wow factor, will come back 4 Stars: I liked it but didn't love it, no wow factor, will still come back 3 Stars: It was okay, I didn't hate it but didn't like it either; would not voluntarily come back 2 Stars: I did not like it, I would not come back 1 Star: Absolutely hated it, I would not come back here

Crossroad Collective is the place you need to be for your next gals night, date night, or even a night with the family. They have a little bit of something for everyone. My husband and I went on a date night and got a variety of dishes. See full details below: Drinks were at the @thecounterdaybar - so cool seeing a place that offers unique and fun non-alcoholic drinks, but also having a variety to choose from! My drink was the Bee & Jupiter My husbands was the house special of the Liquid Luck Starting off with shareable from @diabommke with a chorizo bao bun & @tricicloperumke corn + cheese empanada! Then for dinner we went to @eggandflourmke got entrees of the creamy Shells and Bucatini Then to end the evening we headed over to @scratchicecreammke for their current ice cream special of cereal & milk ice cream with lucky charms mixed to give it the St Patrick's Day feel! Outside of the vendors we tried there is a few more such as @thepharmacymke and @rutasmke that we hope to stop by next time! All handles above link to each vendors instagrams to checkout more of their menu and what they have to offer! We loved checking out @crossroadsmke Overall, everything was super yummy, colorful, and would recommend to anyone to checkout when in the city of Milwaukee!

It's a food mall! This is a great use of this space which has been (as many eastsiders will remember) a rotation of unsuccessful restaurants over the years. We went during pandemic times so seats were spread out. Everyone was pretty respectful though and the place was busy without feeling overly full. Speaking of overly full...my biggest issue was where to eat! There was egg & flour, a peruvian restaurant ( sorry, can't remember the name), heavens gate bbq and "the pharmacy" a bar serving both alcoholic and non alcoholic concoctions that, while not all the restaurants in the place, where the particular places that caught my eye. We ordered and got a buzzer to go pick up our food. My pizza was delicious! Loved this concept and can't wait to return.

I've been on the Collective once or twice but not for drinks. Frida has an amazing tomato bisque and grilled cheese which was perfect one day when I was freezing. But today I decided to venture to the Pharmacy. They have a small but nice selection of local beers as well as hard selter. Several cocktails and wines round out the menu. But they also have a coffee side with iced coffee, americano, espresso, etc. The staff is friendly and greeted me immediately. I appreciate their kindness.

Noddle Me was underwhelming at best. I get what they are going for but it was a swing and miss. The only flavor here is bland. Perhaps the fact that this was takeout made the food unpalatable. I'd give it another shot but if they don't bring out the flavor, I think they will have a tough time getting repeat customers.

Never been to a place like this, but basically, it's a "food court" type of building where you can order your food from any of the restaurants on your phone, and they bring it to your table. Super cool concept. I wasn't very hungry, so I just got this desert, which was called a strawberry bao bun. Not my cup of tea. The "bao" which was just a donut type of bread was hard and COVERED in sugar. May come back again to maybe try the pasta.

Once it's ready you scan your order on their computer scanner and a door opens to pick up your order. I felt like Living in the future where you order your food on your phone or you can order at the kiosk tucked in the right side of the front desk area where it looks like you can order. I ordered orange chicken from their menu, taking thousands place was one restaurant but it looks like three different restaurants. It was good I liked the crunch. I could have had some sauce to pour over it for some sauce but overall the flavor was pretty good. I liked the texture. Drinks wise there was not a lot of option, just a few types of tea drinks. I could have had the option for just drinking water if possible. You see staff but barely interact because they are dropping off the food where you pick up from what looks like a locker. It's like a no-contact food ordering system but they give you a sweet eclectic thank you note from the mothman. Himself. To sum this place up? It's kind of a grab and go place for the hectic city people. The waiting/sitting area is bar style, high seats with a TV but nothing playing on it.
