Place was empty at 5:45 pm a Friday. We ordered Merlot. It was sweet and tasted nothing like Merlot. Not worth trying wine here. Crane Lake is another brand they have. Some of the worst wine available and cheaper by the bottle than for a glass. Nope. Service was quick and often attentive, but we were not asked how things were. I may have told them the food was cold. Server never said her name and was a bit quiet. It was hard to engage her at times. Fish salad was good. Mixed greens. Decent dressing. Fish was a smidge dry. Fish tacos were good per my friend. Pad Thai was okay. Weeping Tiger was a bit cold and the ribeye was tough, fatty and overcooked. I ordered medium but it was medium well at the least. And I was only given a butter knife. Could barely cut it. I sense it was flank steak rather than an actual ribeye based on the texture and grain of the meat. The sauce that came with it was great. Rice was a bit cold. The tres leches cake was very good. Tiramisu was so so but I'm not a fan in general. Decor is nice. But plastic water cups and cafeteria flatware wrapped in paper napkins felt too casual at dinner. Guess it keeps the price point down. It feels like they could make a few minor changes and bring in a crowd. Maybe flameless candles and bud vases with flowers on the tables. A nicer wine list (the beer list is pretty long!) and some more dinner items would be nice. Many items are more like lunch choices than dinner. We would try it again but would change our orders according to the experience we had. Maybe I'd stick to a sandwich or pasta. read more

Looking forward to trying this place- It was clean, lots of room... Friendly staff... But, we felt it was "good". Tried the creamed corn poblano appetizer- tasty. I see how they are trying to be a mix of different tastes- not sure it hits the mark... I ordered the khao yum gah tod- it also was tasty- chicken could have been fried "more"- it just was ok- I liked the spiciness and flavor...maybe I felt Thai and Mexican rice wasn't the right combo...? Hubby had the enchiladas- and he said they tasted good- but were dry. Also ordered a martini- it was twice the price of what I would normally pay. - charged for a double...? Popped in for the first time, as I was looking for some lunch for take out. I've heard good things about this spot, so was excited to give it a go. It was certainly quiet for dine-in service, maybe only a table or two occupied in the restaurant, but a handful of other folks came in for food to-go, so that must be their thing. The menu is vast. I was shocked at all the options, and different types of cuisines! So many apps, salads, paninis, soups, wraps, thai & Mexican dishes, pastas and more. I went with the hummus avocado wrap and added chicken. It came with a side of choice and I choose fruit. Oh and I got an Arnold Palmer for a drink because that sounded refreshing (and it was). I'll admit I was a bit surprised by the $20 price for lunch. Crazy how much meals are these days. The wrap was pretty darn tasty though- packed with spinach, cucumber, feta, hummus, and avocado. I wanted to dive into the Thai/mexican fusion so I tried the guacamole and chips and the pad thai. Both of my dishes were good and affordable! The pad Thai was the favorite but I think next time I go I might stick to one theme, as in if I get guac I'll get tacos as well. For a restaurant that I was nervous about doing too much with their menu, I was shocked to have such a great experience! I got myself a build-my-own wrap with a take on the Southwest wrap (essentially, swapped the chicken with avocado). The crispy onion was honestly the perfect touch, and while the ingredients are things you could pick for meal prep or whatnot, the other wraps/sandwiches/salads that were ordered were well done. I think the Thai and Mexican dishes offered at this spot are well reviewed on Yelp. We got this delivered for a lunch on a long day, and super worth it and quick service/delivery- they left no human starved haha I can't comment on the ambiance, but after getting to order their food, I'd definitely consider dropping by to eat in- the other Yelp reviews did convince the team to get food from this place and the food we got was as good as we thought it'd be! read more

I got their Friday special which was fish tacos and they were delicious. The staff was very friendly and we were seated right away. Just had lunch here. Like on my way home from it now. My husband and I have been eyeing this place for some time. Fusion isn't our favorite cause it's a hit or a miss. Y'all, this place is a hit! It's a nice open place with a full bar in front. Good amount of seating. High tops and low tops. The name is exactly what it is, fusion. Mexican and Thai mostly but if you want a Philly, they got that too! After asking about the menu Angelica, the extremely nice server, said the Thai dishes were really good, the recipes are from the owners mother who is Thai. She also said she hasn't had a bad thing but to start there. I got the Khao Yum Gai Tod and my husband got the make your own burrito bowl. The food came out at a nice pace and my dish wasn't overly huge and under portioned. I ate every last bite. The tang from the fish sauce, the hint of sweetness followed up with a small punch of heat from the chilis. I don't love red onion but it was perfectly broken down and added some much flavor and texture. My husband got the pork for his burrito bowl and it was Smokey, warm and very comforting. The beans in there too, yum!!! I'm not sure why I'm so surprised it was delicious, with all the different types of dishes I was hesitant. I can't wait to bring my dad here and come back with the whole family. It was a knock out, again, Angelica was a super star of a server. Had the opportunity to try out this restaurant in West Allis last Wednesday evening for dinner. I arrived around 5:30 in the evening to find the dining room completely empty with two servers ready to seat me. The restaurant was clean and neat but hardly inviting in appearance. Obviously service was quick. Not sure how the fusion idea works here, the menu was distinctly divided into Mexican dishes and Thai dishes. I decided on the Mexican enchiladas, two carnitas and one barbacoa with green sauce. My order came within minutes and as ordered, without sour cream. All three enchiladas were well filled with chunks of meat, not shredded as is usually the case. The two meats were fork tender but unfortunately without the deep rich flavor expected of a Mexican dish. Served with the enchiladas were a side of refried beans and Mexican rice. Neither stood out as special, and the refried beans lacked a cheese topping that one usually sees with this side. Service was attentive and friendly. I inquired about how long the restaurant has been in service, thinking the lack of customers might have been due to being recently opened, but the waitress said they had been in this location about two years. During my visit one couple came in as I was eating and another as I was leaving. My bill came to about $30 without tip, and there was a charge for paying with a credit card, something that seems to be becoming more common. My bill did include one cocktail as well as the dinner. Probably wouldn't revisit this place for Mexican food but might try it for the Thai food before advising to skip this one. read more

I really like this place, easy walk from MATC West Campus and across the street from one of the last vinyl record and used CD shops. The fish tacos and the mango crepe are the best things on the menu, rather original and not like any mango crepe or fish tacos I've had before. Good coffee, excellent service. Heard many positive things about this place so decided to check it out before I went to the Farmer's Market. Service is good as is the food. Price of coffee depends on the size you order. Prices are what one would expect during the pandemic. I had the build your own omelette which was great. Only place I got one piece of dry toast with an omelette. Usually I get two slices, unless it's made of thicker bread. A pat of butter was served in a dish along with a few jelly packs. I was finishing my coffee and making a mental note to stop by to try their sandwich offerings when I witnessed something which really turned me off to the place, no matter how good the food. An elderly man walked in with a bottle. He asked it they could open it for him. They refused and walked him to the door. Really? You're telling me a cafe with a full bar doesn't have a bottle opener? I don't know what was in the bottle, but it was hot and humid yesterday. Show a little humanity!!! No more visits from me! And your refusal to open a bottle for an elderly man gets the review I believe you deserve! Based on he comments from the owner, it was the responsible thing to refuse to open the beer bottle for him. It was hot, I will be back to check out the sandwiches at a later date. read more

Looking at the pictures on Yelp I was half sold and half concerned coming here. But I looked beyond this to the delicious food in those pics. Large menu I can't wait to try breakfast/brunch/lunch here soon. Great options. I ended up doing the Friday special of fish tacos and was not disappointed. The corn tortillas were packed full of fresh limey veggies and perfectly fried fish. Went with a friend who also did the tacos and a side of rice and bean, both reported excellent. We started off with soup before the tacos. Both hit the spot on a cold night. Wait staff was very attentive and nice refilling drinks as needed and checking in regularly. Establishment very clean and welcoming. I was shocked and disappointed there weren't more people there. We will both be back to support this newly found gem.
