Great little spot to eat before going skiing. I ordered the two road meal with a very reasonable price. The staff is very friendly and proficient. The meal was delicious and filling. I'm glad I stopped in.

This is a cute little diner in the small town of Bethel, Maine. It looks like a diner of old with stools at a counter and several tables and chairs. They also have some outside seating. We wanted breakfast but made do with lunch since breakfast was over. Sis had a basic cheeseburger and chips. It was basic with just burger in a bun with a pickle spear and bag of potato chips. She pronounced it ok. I had a BLT on rye and opted in for onion rings for a small up charge. The sandwich was like I would make at home, but I would add more bacon. The onion rings were basic frozen rings. Both of these were also ok. It took longer than we expected to get our order. So overall, the food experience was not exceptional but acceptable, especially when one is hungry.

The best and most unique thing are the coffee mugs. I hate it when diners use the classic diner little coffee mugs. Not here! Here they serve a nice big huge mug of coffee. It is a classic diner in every way....except that they serve beer, wine, and brunch cocktails like bloody Mary's and mimosas. Tight fitting tables, tight bar stools. Limited places to stand while you wait for a table. The waitstaff's friendly and efficient. The food is basic...the toast was overly buttered...I mean insane amount of butter on each piece. The pancakes were huge and very fluffy. The French toast was cooked crisp...which was really nice. The home fries potatoes were very bland...no love in these potatoes...just a little bit of seasoning would have gone a long way.

Stopped in from out travel from Upstate NY Food was good. Staff weee friendly. Food came out fast and was nice and hot. We were so hungry we did not take pics of the food! I had the Turkey club and my forks had the fish sandwich with coleslaw

Really enjoyed it in here! As with many places during COVID, these folks are short staffed, and waits are a little long, but it's totally worth it. Came here on a Saturday morning and was pleasantly surprised to see mimosas on the menu! They were delicious. I got eggs Benedict, my boyfriend got eggs and French toast. The Benny was delicious. I loved it. I tried the French toast and that was fabulous too. Really cute inside, and there's an outdoor patio too. Our server was so friendly and patient. The two waitresses were really hustling, and that was so appreciated. They're awesome. Can't wait to come back!

This instantly became one of my favorite restaurants in town the first time I visited. Starting with a huge bright yellow mug of strong coffee, to an incredible omelette and the griddle fried breakfast potatoes, I was hooked. I became a regular over my extended holiday. Every subsequent visit got better, as the servers recognized me and were always friendly and smiling. It's certainly nothing fancy or faddish about this place, it's the quintessential hometown diner where on any given day there's probably an equal mix of local regulars chatting up the staff to out of towners like myself having one of the best meals they'll have in this beautiful little town. Their rueben is also a must if you're a rueben person. Don't blame me if you have to loosen that belt a notch after trying out my recommendation. It's worth it.

Part of the long road breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, homemade toast and home fries. Other portion was the French toast.

Our waitress had the personality of wet lettuce and acted like we were a giant inconvenience. Food was tolerable.

Best breakfast ive had in awhile. The crab eggs Benedict was unmatched and probably the most uniquely good breakfast plate ever.

The staff were so pleasant and attentive, ESPECIALLY our server. Honestly the service was the best I've experienced while dining out in quite some time. On top of the wonderful experience, the food was just as great. The stars of our meal (though everything was delicious), were the Duck & Sweet Corn Wontons, the Thai Chili Cauliflower, and the Crème Brûlée donut. OMG the donut. If you get nothing else, GET THE DONUT!!! All in all, definitely worth the visit!!

I got the crab Parmesan truffle carbonara (need I say more) and my husband got the lamb shank over risotto. Both were 12/10. Then for dessert (even though we were so full from the meal) we got the flourless chocolate cake and the CRÈME BRÛLÉE FILLED DONUT. Yes you read that right. Skip the chocolate cake and just get a dozen of the donuts. Krispy cream could NEVERRRR. I'm literally waddling out of here with the biggest smile on my face. Anyone in previous reviews that was complaining about price doesn't understand value. It was worth every freaking penny.

She was bling with tattoos on her arm and didn't need a pad of paper for our order! The food was some of the worst food I've ever had in my life! The eggs were really good, but how do you go wrong with eggs? The problem wasn't how the food was made. It was that it was the cheapest food they could possibly have bought. I got steak and eggs, and the steak was all fat and gross even to look at and it tasted like hepatitis! The home fries were so dry that I couldn't even swallow them with water! Muffin was something out of a Third World country, but it was possible so I used it to my eggs. My friend got french fries and a sandwich and his food was perfect. It was just a breakfast food that was problematic. I literally put my sausage links and steak on the side and told the waitress to please take it home to her dog or give it to a local dog, if they would eat it. The water was delicious! Very very cold and just pure and delicious. Again, the service was excellent, so I'm sorry, but I hope somebody sees this before they choose to go there for breakfast in this little town. You're better off going to McDonald's.
