Other stores at Deerbrook Mall included Starbucks, Subway, Hobby Lobby, and Brunswick Zone. I highly recommend Deerbrook Mall and will return in the future.

Families, friends and like minded people come to meet here to enjoy an ice cream, enjoy a cup of coffee, listen to music, view the art or stand up for what they believe. I most recently attended a peaceful protest here. Not only did the area give space for us to declare our position it also provided the loving warmth of our community coming together.

With Dairy Queen onsite, it's the perfect place to enjoy a summer evening with your favorite Blizzard or twist cone. Port Clinton is an outdoor shopping center where you'll discover a few specialty shops. The plaza area hosts annual events, including the holiday tree lighting extravaganza, Fourth of July festivities, and the Port Clinton Art Festival. Certain Friday nights you can listen to musicians compete in Battle of the Bands, and they've also been known to show outdoor movies. For anyone moving to the area, I highly recommend coming to the plaza for a glimpse of the community. There's plenty of bench seating and tables, and I promise you an interesting mix of citizens for spectacular people watching. Two of my favorite things: 1) A giant engraved map of Highland Park where you can find the street where you live; 2) the smell of bacon wafting through the air from the adjacent Walker Bros Pancake restaurant. Plenty of free street parking and an underground garage.

I have noticed that even though this square has been reconstructed since 2000 from "Deerfield Commons", it appears to be pretty new and modern, with many upscale shops and boutiques, and a bunch of nice restaurants. In a hot summer day, the beautiful outdoor area of the square looks very attractive. I am only familiar with Walgreens, Sephora, and Fresh Foods in the mall, but the restaurants here seem to be pretty appealing too. From their directory online, there are Café Zupas, Egg Harbor Cafe, Il-Forno Pizza & Pasta, Potbelly Sandwich Shop, Rosebud, Scoops & Cookies, Tlacoyo Mexican Grill, and Whole Foods Market. The various restaurants and eateries would definitely fit different budgets and appetites. I will return with my family to explore this beautiful shopping mall further.

I was so excited to see that this new Barnes and Noble complete with a lovely Starbucks Cafe opened up here in Northbrook. It also filled the need for the Starbucks that closed in this shopping center a year or so ago. I've stopped in a few times for a caffeine fix and to browse the book selection. I also took my son here one day to look for books and the person who works here did an amazing job of finding him 4-5 books to take to camp. Perhaps too good of a job because he said they were so good that he finished them within days and then had nothing to read. Everytime I stop in I think it's also the perfect spot to get work done or even for my kids to study with friends. Overall, a great addition to this shopping area. Happy reading!

This was my second time going to this Barnes and Noble and had a positive experience here. But when I went there today my experience wasn't great. And hence this review. I waited and waited for a staff person to come by the computer station where I could place an order for a couple of books to be delivered to my house and no one came. I have never had to wait that long at a Barnes and Noble for this kind of service. Go to another location if you can.

The shoe department isn't as big as my favorite location but I still managed to find a couple pair of slippers, the clearance price for one pair was only $6.73! The cashier was friendly and efficient. Overall it was a good experience and I will definitely be back.

I find that this location is easier to maneuver around versus the Old Orchard location, however it was still pretty crowded on a Saturday afternoon (prime time probably). Lots of On Cloud and Hoka women's shoe options. Had a really good experience with the checkout line, I wish I could remember her name. Even though the shoes didn't ring up with the price on the box, she make the adjustment without any issues. In addition, she was savvy enough to know how to make split a credit card payment when using one of those annoying Visa gift cards and a regular credit card. Usually when those two issues occur, you get stuck in line forever - but with her it was a breeze!
