I have noticed that even though this square has been reconstructed since 2000 from "Deerfield Commons", it appears to be pretty new and modern, with many upscale shops and boutiques, and a bunch of nice restaurants. In a hot summer day, the beautiful outdoor area of the square looks very attractive. I am only familiar with Walgreens, Sephora, and Fresh Foods in the mall, but the restaurants here seem to be pretty appealing too. From their directory online, there are Café Zupas, Egg Harbor Cafe, Il-Forno Pizza & Pasta, Potbelly Sandwich Shop, Rosebud, Scoops & Cookies, Tlacoyo Mexican Grill, and Whole Foods Market. The various restaurants and eateries would definitely fit different budgets and appetites. I will return with my family to explore this beautiful shopping mall further.

All of the restaurants that we have tried have been amazing. I highly recommend Glenview Commons. Everyone can find something there that they will like. I mean, these stores: Old Navy, Barnes & Noble, Container Store, J Crew, PetSmart, Trader Joes, Fresh Market, Off the 5th -- and more. If anything, maybe a food place would be helpful. They are also home to some of my favorite restaurants, including Biaggis, California Pizza Kitchen, and Stoney River. We had a good dinner at City Barbeque and were able to get groceries quickly at Jewel-Osco. I recommend both of these businesses. Other stores at Deerbrook Mall included Starbucks, Subway, Hobby Lobby, and Brunswick Zone. I highly recommend Deerbrook Mall and will return in the future.

Have been watching The Clove proceed slowly and seemingly failing. The promised grocery store still hasn't happened several years after announced. Either has the poorly planned Lulu's Ice Cream Social. Now announced that Guzman and Gomez has already tried and failed.Long standing Giordano's has closed. Folks don't seem to be buying overpriced studios and one bedroom high rises overlooking a parking lot. Too many speed bumps. Seems doomed.

The Clove is now home to Guzman Y Gomez, Chick-fil-A, Giordano's, and Sushi Grove, among other restaurants and businesses. They have also added residential housing apartments and a parking garage. There is a Bowlero bowling alley just to the north, that is not technically part of the property. My husband and I frequent Sushi Grove. It has great food and is a great place to take friends or go for a date night. I can't wait to see what is added to The Clove as they continue the rennovations and more stores open.

With Dairy Queen onsite, it's the perfect place to enjoy a summer evening with your favorite Blizzard or twist cone. Port Clinton is an outdoor shopping center where you'll discover a few specialty shops. The plaza area hosts annual events, including the holiday tree lighting extravaganza, Fourth of July festivities, and the Port Clinton Art Festival. Certain Friday nights you can listen to musicians compete in Battle of the Bands, and they've also been known to show outdoor movies. For anyone moving to the area, I highly recommend coming to the plaza for a glimpse of the community. There's plenty of bench seating and tables, and I promise you an interesting mix of citizens for spectacular people watching. Two of my favorite things: 1) A giant engraved map of Highland Park where you can find the street where you live; 2) the smell of bacon wafting through the air from the adjacent Walker Bros Pancake restaurant. Plenty of free street parking and an underground garage.

I most recently attended a peaceful protest here. Not only did the area give space for us to declare our position it also provided the loving warmth of our community coming together.

Enjoyed walking around here, and good number of eating options like Chipotle, Corner Bakery, etc.
