I was impressed with the clean and cute decor. We were seen quickly and I felt the tech and doctor were very efficient. While he might not have needed the blood work, they gave him an anti nausea shot and some GI sensitive wet food and he hasn't thrown up since so that worked. Before gathering all the necessary information--such as exactly how much grapes my dog has eaten, they administered medication to induce vomiting and put him on an IV. They decided to ask after preforming the induction. As a result, I was charged $325, despite feeling that the procedures were excessive given the situation and the lack of proper communication. Only after expressing my dissatisfaction did they refund the office visit fee of $71, but that still doesn't make up for the fact that the majority of the cost remained, even though they acted without fully understanding the circumstances. I am in a state of confusion, feeling unheard, overcharged, and frustrated. Based on what happened, My strong belief is the refund should have been more substantial. Pet owners deserve transparency, communication, and careful evaluation before any treatments is done, none of which I experienced here. I will not be returning, and I hope others approach this facility with skepticism and caution.

He had severe hair knots on the back of his rear legs, and I could tell he was in pain. We were assigned to Dr. Hansen. Wow we hit a homerun on this place and the doctor! I had just moved to the area but had planned on keeping the vet we had across town. After the incident, I instantly decided to transfer vets permanently! Had a second incident that needed quick care when I stopped to help someone who had had a car accident. She was taken to a hospital herself and I offered to take her bunny to the vet as she was worried the bunny may be hurt. Dr. Hugh to the rescue again! Turns out the bunny was just fine! Horrible experience they could even draw blood from a 14 pound Corgi puppy for a heartworm test…read more My husband brought in him and they said he needed to be sedated with two different medicines. I gave him the medicines as instructed and they still could not get his blood drawn for a heart worm test and wanted to keep him all day and fully sedate him which I said no to and told them I would elsewhere. Additionally this is after I was the VCA care club plan and now have to pay several more months and they wanted to charge $167.10 for the Heartworm Test. I took him to another vet and they were able to get his blood drawn for the heartworm test without any medication. The new vet was less expensive for the office visit and heartworm test than what VCA wanted to charge for just the heartworm test.
