Attitude the man acted like he was doing me a favor selling me tires I will find a tire business that is polite and wants my business

I went in for a simple alignment picked up My truck was not aligned properly lug nuts were hand tightened and loose and when I turn the wheel, a loud clunking noise happens I called the shop to ask them if they could take a look and they gave me attitude and also said that the employees would be complaining because it was such a pain to do in the first place because I have a Level on my truck, which is the most common upgrade for a F150. I was very unhappy with the service provided and will be taking my business elsewhere. I would not recommend. read more

I have used Crothers for the past 10-12 years, and always brought my car to Crothers for tires, axel repairs and alignments. They are very good at giving you many options for tires at different price points. They will often get you in, in a pinch, if you need a tire checked, or maybe you picked up a nail and need it plugged really quick! They are very helpful and willing to assist! So bad. Every time. I keep trying these guys because it's within walking distance to my house, but they're just bad. Tom employs dead beats and addicts. Every time I get work done I have to go back to get that work FIXED. Just go anywhere else. Seriously. Got $800 tires put on and they didn't even seal them to my rims so they kept going flat. I took it back to have them resealed and they only sealed ONE TIRE. So I went a total of 3 times for something that they should've known to do as decent mechanics. read more

These guys are AWESOME! Brought my car in for leaky valve stem....they not only fixed it in 10 minutes, but noticed that all my tires were being compromised because the hub caps were misaligned to the valve stems. They took care of it and also checked all my tires for correct pressure at no additional charge. They know what they are doing and care about their customers. read more

My dad has always taken my car here for repairs since I can remember. There's always still something wrong with it upon getting it back, which takes weeks. And god forbid they need to order parts, it'll be longer. I've been calling for days to get the scoop on my vehicle, always putting me on hold for at least 7 min or "the guy who knows" is on lunch break. Finally talked to him and come to find out my car wasn't there yet. When I hang up, frustrated and sick of dealing with them I go back to my job. Moments later a disrespectful, super unprofessional call from the good folks at Crothers, I figure it may be important so I pick up. They wanted to tell me they think I have an attitude. I would think going out of their way to make that call is a waste of their time but I guess when other people's cars aren't your priority its nothing. read more

This tire shop will beat any other tire shops price. The staff is very helpful in selection the right tire for your ride and budget. They are quick, but take the time to make sure the tire is balanced and installed properly. Its a good feeling knowing you got the best price and that the installation was done right. I have been using Crothers Tire since I was in my teens and first got my license. This is a great family business. Tommy will never steer you wrong, and will tell you exactly what is going on and what it will take to get things right again. I'm a single mom that cant afford a lot and they do their best to do what I can afford each time while keeping my vehicle in its best running shape. I have been going here for years, and years. I came in with my 2004 Subaru Forester XT that was shaking like crazy while idling. I am typically good at fixing my car myself, but this one I couldn't figure out. Mike Menard figured it out quickly, and they fixed it no problem. Dropping it off, and picking it up was a breeze, as well as making the payment. Tommy is always accommodating, and works to squeeze me in. My husband came home with a flat tire thanks to a pothole. I called at 7 am and they took the car in right away. I was out of there within 15 minutes with a new reasonably priced tire. They were so incredibly nice and helpful. I hope I don't have to see them anytime soon but I know if I have any tire issues they are the only guys to call!! read more

I came in with a problem to my fuse box and my van it would not start, blinkers did not work, brake illumination and all other wired connection ceased. Talking with the owner Tom Jr about what had happened we went over options such as attaching a breaker to the box or installing a new fuse box from the dealership. I told Tom I can go to the junk yard and pickup a used box. He said he would not warranty any used parts and that he would only warranty his own work or a new fuse box from the dealership. I went with his work as Tom stated it would cost less. Tom than attempted to fix the issue and did seem to get my van back to working order. I paid $479 for some wires and a breaker. I was happy that it worked as it wasn't really about the money. My happiness didn't last b/c the very next day, I had to inform Tom of an new issue, and told him everything seems to be still working except the brake illumination. He fixed the issue for no charge stating it was a bad breaker he had installed. So I went on my way and was again just happy it worked. Until again a month later I had to pull off the road after a drive laid on his horn and stuck his head out his window to say nice f'n brake lights! So I pull off the road way to inspect the fuse panel to get a better look at the new breaker box yet again. I had jiggled the wires to try to make the lights illumanate but it did not work, nothing illuminated, and I was now a few minutes from home without brake lights. Luckly Toms shop is right down the street from my home so I made it there to ask tom to yet again check his work over. Tom said he was booked and that there was nothing he could do so I agreed to bring it in 4 days later. After bringing it in for this third time Tom attempted to inspect his work on my fuse box. Not too much later in the day Tom did call to inform me the brake light were working again, and that I owe Tom $208 more dollars. I said I did not authorize you Tom to add to the jobs contract, I only asked you to check it over like I had to before. I got off the phone to go down the street to better discuss with Tom the matter and he handed me my keys, threw me out telling me never to come back and to have a good life. Not only did he not want to hear me, Now after inspection of new work preformed, my blinkers, my windshield wipers, And my radio do not work after this third mikey mouse job or fix..whatever you want to call it! Tom had fixed the brake light illumination, but Now more of the same beginning problems have risin. They suck but if you must go there make sure you tell him to call you first before he charges you some BS amount for some BS mickey mouse job. Each time I have left here, there has been another issue with my car that was not there before I brought it in. Likewise, I am continually charged double what was originally agreed upon for additional services that were not authorized to be completed. First went in for a tune-up and front brakes done. Left paying for back brakes having been cleaned, front brakes never done and car running much worse than before it went in. Alignment was completely off and pulling all over the road and over 60mph felt as if I was driving on an unpaved dirt road. Come to find out, they rotated tires that were never supposed to have been rotated. When I bring it back in to have what they messed up fixed and my front brakes done yet again because they were never done in the first place, I get a call asking for almost $500 because they not only changed the front brakes but also decided to do the back brakes without being asked when I had just paid for them to be "cleaned" (again without authorization) 2 days prior. Still my car's alignment is all over the place when they claim to have fixed it and I had to bring it to another garage and pay for it to be fixed properly. As I am all set with this place and decided never to go here again, I bring my car into Midas for a simple oil change and I am told I need to go back to the last place who did it (of course Crother's Tire) because they stripped my housing and they did not want to break it trying to get it off and be liable for something someone else did. So again, back into Crother's to have just the filter replaced because I had to get an oil change done with no filter change due to their ignorance. My husband specifically asks the cost of the filter before going in and is told $20 and makes it clear he wants only the filter done and nothing else on the car. An hour later I get a call for yet again double that price at $42 because they decided they needed to charge me for the housing which they previously stripped otherwise it wouldn't need replacing. Tom always has a bs reason why what they did has helped me out and to top it off refused to talk to me about my own car and would only speak to my husband so much so that the last time I come in to get my car by myself he chases my husband's car down in the parking lot and makes him come inside so he can talk to him...sexist Id say. Awful customer service and horrendous work done by this place! I will never be going here again! read more
