I wish there is a negative star. I went to this shop, to replace my front brake pads and rotors, he said he need to inspect and then only he can give the estimate. The estimate he gave is far away from the market price. So I didn't proceed with him though he charged me 100 bucks just for the inspection and his time. I went there with known issue, I don't why there is a need of inspection again until unless to rob a customer. I went here to support local businesses but it didn't turn out well. Stay away from this shop. This is really a bad day read more

Wow! Just wow. I was at Wilson's this morning to ask some basic questions about a repair. There was nobody in the office and after waiting a few minutes I walked around to the outside of the garage (because I could see people there) where I was greeted by a friendly and professional young woman who smiled and greeted me politely. As I was explaining my problem a gentleman (presumably the owner) barged in and told me rudely that I should be in the office. I attempted to explain that I started there, but he walked away and began shouting loudly "WHAT THE FU** IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE?! ARE THEY ALL FU**ING STUPID?! JESUS FU**ING CHRIST... BLA BLA BLAH...!" (I may be paraphrasing here, but I'm NOT exaggerating about the profanity or the attitude.) The young woman appeared to be trying to calm him down as though it were a daily occurrence. I told him to eat sh** and left. If you like being verbally abused and insulted this is the place for you, and based on another review it appears that this unprofessional temper tantrum is is not an isolated incident. read more

My husband and I have been using Wilson's for quite a few years to service our three cars. Service continues to get better all the time! I recently came in because my low tire pressure light came on. They looked at it right away. They found a nail in the tire, plugged it and I was on my way. They even left a cold bottle of water in my car! In the past I had Jim replace the brakes on my Lexus, at one third less than I would have spent at the dealership. I will continue to use them. They are very courteous and professional. read more

I am completely satisfied with a recent alignment, balance and tire rotation, and have never had so much stability in the front end of my 2009 Marquis. Plus I was happily surprised that my windows had also been washed! This is a small gesture that has not been overlooked. This is my second time to Wilson's with a perfect service and performance result. The first time was for an emissions failure in the EGR path of a different car which Jim diagnosed and repaired. I do much of my own work on our three vehicles, but I will return to Wilson's anytime I have an issue that I cannot resolve. I recommend Wilson's based on my experience. I've been doing business at Wilson's for years. They have never steered me wrong in terms of repairs. In addition to having all our vehicles repaired at Wilson's, I have also purchased sets of tires as well. The one time there was an issue the tire was under warranty and it was replaced no problem. Was going to Wilson's ever since he opened a couple years ago, gave him lots of work. He repaid me by sending my wife off in our Jeep with breaks not working properly, peddle going almost all the way to the floorboards. Called him and he tolds us to come back, so we did, then he played around with pretending to bleed the break line, problem is that he started in the left front and never did any of the other lines, it did nothing. After that he proclaimed the problem was fixed, it wasn't. He told me to take it down the road, I did. As suspected, same problem, got back and told him so, he got huffy and told me I was all set! I told him that this was a safety issue and that I did not feel comfortable driving the Jeep, I asked him to drive it for himself. He reluctantly got behind the wheel and just about slammed the door in my face, then he bolted around his own driveway and stopped, looked at me and stated again that "I was all set!" Later he claimed that he offered for us to leave the Jeep with him so he could take a closer look the next day, this was a lie he never did, I kept telling him that this was a safety issue expecting him to offer to look at it in his shop, he didn't. Bottom line, go somewhere else, if Jim Wilson can treat a regular customer like this, what is he capable of doing to you? I wound up taking the Jeep to Putnam Jeep, they confirmed that the breaks were never bleed properly, they also found other issues that Jim Wilson never did and fixed them all, now I'm a happy camper but out $599 wasted at Wilson's. read more
