Excellent customer service and great people top to bottom. This was our first deal with Croton Auto Park. Wr worked mostly with Jay, Bill and Chris on leasing a new Durango. The most important part was their openness and honesty. We felt like part of their family through the whole process. We have already recommended them to 2 other people. Also what really impressed me is that Jay is not your average car salesman. He has worked with my dad since the early 2000's which was when I first met him. I randomly ran into him one day after my son was born and he remembered who I was and that I had a son. This was about 10 years since we first met. Fast forward another few years to another random encounter and he remembers me again. "Dad says you have a daughter now too? About a year now?" From past experiences with other salesman elsewhere I've gotten questions about my two daughters (when I was barely a newlywed), how the family in the Hampton's are and other incorrect "notes". Before Anthony or Jason reads this, don't bother giving me some lame, lying BS, apology or phone number for customer service unless you're going to refund be my money. I'm filing a complaint with the DMV. I should've sued your asses. The first time I brought my car there they had it for six weeks and just let it sit outside and made no effort to fix it and I ended up having to call Chrysler to get on their case. The second time they had it for three months. I walked in, handed Joe a piece of paper explaining exactly what needed to be done but he chose to ignore it and instead did a bunch of stuff which I already had done not long ago and they charged me $2150.00. On the way home I broke down. When I went back, I said Joe, "just do the work on the piece of paper I gave you". It was a seventy-five dollar job for which he didn't charge me because he knew that they just got screwed me out of $2150.00. My wife did the research on the web and knew what had to be done but apparently these guys just go headfirst into doing a job without any knowledge of what to do. My wife, with no experience or knowledge of cars knew more than they did. Don't have your car repaired there unless your car is under warranty or you want to get ripped off. read more

Usally I really only Yelp food spots, but in this case, I had to make an exception. My wife found her Dream Jeep Wrangler on their website..I went down to Recon it...was ready to tell her it wasn't the right deal...I was sure the Jeep might be a bait and switch, the salesman was gonna be too aggressive, the Jeep was gonna be too pricey...Dammm ! None of that happened and wife finally got the Wrangler she's always wanted. The Jeep was perfect! Beautiful and exactly as advertised. Our salesman Carl was an absolute Gentleman! Professional, polite, not pushy at all, informative ( as a fellow Jeep wrangler owner ) I bought my Jeep in 2016 at a different dealership..was not looking forward to the long day I remembered in purchasing a vehicle...Well that didn't happen..by the time I finished my complimentary coffee the paperwork was done!! They did right by us on the trade in, They did everything with my insurance Co. And DMV and we picked up the Jeep two days later. They were so nice and helpful, but they did not tell me that they had covered up major scratches on the right side of the used vehicle I purchased. As soon as I drove it away and gave it one wash I was able to see what had been done. I called immediately and told them I saw the scratches on the side about 3 feet in the length and that they had been covered up. They denied it. I took it to an auto body shop and they clearly explained why it was so obvious that it had been covered. I'm only writing this because I want people to know when they deal with Croton auto they are not going to be treated well. They lied and refused to own up when I called them out. Absolutely stay away from this place because they will sell you anything they can regardless of the hidden damages. Turns out the "repair" that C(r)AP theoretically made actually made things worse. My car is still throwing codes and I still have to rent a car to get to work. Try to have a conversation with a customer service rep when you call? Not likely. They are dismissive, rude, and the nepo baby service manager could care less. I really hope Jeep drops them from their authorized service roster because they don't deserve the chance to work on anyone's car. At least the service provider in Bford Hills is responsive and acknowledged the repair C(r)APwas done incorrectly and actually exacerbated the problem. I brought my Jeep to Croton Auto Park to repair a major problem I was having with cylinders misfiring. After they had my car for 9 days and charged me $3200, the problem was not fixed. I continued to have issues and it was the exact same problem they were supposed to have repaired. I took it to 2 separate mechanics at 2 separate garages and both told me I was ripped off. When I showed them the invoice I had, both said that the work they did was not at all necessary and did not address the issue of misfiring. STAY AWAY!! They don't know what they are doing. read more

After being a customer of this dealership for 12 years, I leased a jeep from another dealer due to inventory. The jeep died after 4 weeks and I brought it to croton bc it was the closest. I was told that they will not help me bc I bought it elsewhere. A recurring problem with the service department is poor communication. Their text message system is non-functioning. Calls go to voicemail and/or are not returned. Today I had no notification that the car was ready for pickup. I came in 30 min before closing only to find that the paperwork was misplaced. To add insult to injury, a SiriusXM free trial was activated, which I neither asked for nor wanted. It will now cost me hours on the phone to try to cancel the service. They told me that the trial was automatically activated during a software update, but no software updates were performed according to the invoice. read more

I visited the dealership because it's near my home and I had to do my maintenance. However, I was not expecting to walk out with a bill over $200!!! I think the customer service was far from extraordinary (mediocre at best), also way overpriced. I even told the representative helping me that I could've went to Pennsylvania where I purchased my vehicle and get the work done for less and honestly next time I rather do that. I'll drive an hour but at least get a better deal since they actually honor coupons and offers and have better customer service. I was interested in one of the cars they listed on their website, and got down to negotiating with the salesman via phone and internet. Their lot is about a 30 minute drive from my house so I wanted to get into it a bit before popping in and starting from scratch. After a quick introduction and a few back and forths over the course of a few days, the guy tells me he's actually not who he says he was, and that he was only using his colleagues email account. I was puzzled why he didn't tell me up front and surprised that they share email accounts, though it later occurred to me that he may have been swiping someones leads. Who the hell knows. Anyway, after exchanging initial numbers I was then I told the car in question was not exactly new, but rather a demo with 7000 miles. I found it be kind of lame to casually tell me the car was moderately used (after already talking money) especially since 7000 miles significant affects the value of the car (and consequently the offer I'd make). Anyway, I wasn't looking for a demo and they didn't have another in the make/model/color I wanted, so I decided to search elsewhere. read more

Eventually, he deigns to ask what I want. Didn't stand up, didn't smile, didn't ask me to sit down. Very precise and seemingly pristine in keeping my jeep clean with mats on the interior, cozy guest waiting area w tv, phone chargers and comp coffee/tea. I bought a used car with high miles at Croton Auto Park. People were nice. The car had only one owner and was purchased & serviced by a Chevrolet dealer in Highland Falls. The car was pretty clean. Car Fax looked great! My mechanic looked it over and saw nothing alarming. Three months after the purchase, the car was making a funny noise. The car was out of oil. We saw no leaks. The car was burning oil. Someone had to know this. A car just doesn't start to burn oil. It takes years! But Just like a "Used Car salesman" screw the next guy. We bought a bran new Jeep Cmpass 5 weeks ago. It came without a spare tire, which I thought was odd, but they assured us it would be there within a couple of days. They have not called once in 5 weeks, but we did, and every time we get "we are working on it". But still no tire. My husband went there in person today, explaining that we are going on a long trip tomorrow, and need that spare. Again, they said "we are working on it and will try to get one by end of day". Not only did that not happen, but we did not even get a call. The bottom line is that, they got their check and have absolutely no reason to fix the problem. So if you buy a car there (which I would not recommend), make sure it has all its parts before paying any money! read more

I live in croton and own a jeep. Figured I would get my keep serviced in town. This was a mistake every time I did. Always takes over a week for an appointment. I drop it off over night and they never get to my car on the day of the appointment. They actually told me that they don't care if I need my car or not. That because they couldn't get to my car on the day of an appointment that it's my problem. On another occasion they threw everything in my center council out to the back seat, broke my seeing eyeglasses and then Put holes into my center consul with screws and the put it back together crooked. Oil is always on the hood after oil changes. Sloppy work, sloppy customer write ups, sloppy owner. No accountability with these people. read more

Horrible. Run around. Took more then a full week to just get an appointment. They did not even look at it the day of the appointment. Second day charge me for fuel filters that from the picture attached looks as though was never changed. Charged me for a diagnosis that is covered under warranty. Made me do all of the homework about the warranty. complained to me that she spent time making phone calls when I gave her all the information for the warranty including a claim number. Told me the part would take a few weeks to get but truck is safe to drive not to worry just come and get the truck. The next day not even 24 hours later truck driven less then 50 miles here I am stuck on the side of the road (Route 9 no less) took 3 hours to get towed. Vehicle clearly states from pictures that filters were not changed. The truck clearly was not safe to drive as it lost all power on a major highway. What a disgusting excuse for a business On top of it all she wanted to charge me over 300 for WARRANTY service when I have a $100 dollar deductible. Pitiful. Had an issue with a payoff when i handed my car back in at the end of its lease. Bought a new car from them and was assured they would pay the balance on the car that i handed in and they apparently got the wrong payoff amount from the leasing company and shorted the payment. I get it ... people make mistakes. That's not the issue. The issue is that i tried to resolve it with them and between countless emails and phone conversations, they couldn't tell me why and needless to say i never got a resolution bc nobody ever got back to me so i wound up just paying the difference bc i was tired of not getting responses from the finance manager, sales manager, customer service,etc etc WE ARE GOING ON 407 DAYS WITHOUT A RESOLUTION. read more

This review is based solely on my experience today in the service department, although I've been a customer for going on 4 years now, never needing to have much more than an oil change. First of all they have the absolute worst service department setup I've ever seen. 1. You drive up to the side of the building to a giant garage door, sit in front of it and honk until someone opens the door so you can drive in. Like some mafia secret code. 2. Some services you make an appt for, others you don't, like an oil change. So if you get there and there's even just 1 person in front of you, expect to wait at least an hour and a half. 3. They don't have loaner cars but instead set you up with a car from the Enterprise rental car that is within the dealership. That's a whole other hassle that I had a bad experience with. You can see that yelp review from a couple years ago that I wrote on the Enterprise Car Rental of croton. 4. And today, I went for an inspection that they sent me a coupon for it complimentary. I was there on Tuesday as a walk-in where I learned that's one of the services that need an appt. I couldn't imagine why an appt was necessary since they Jeep is a 2017, but ok I went with the program and made it for 1pm today. When I arrive i ask how long it will take and the service guy tells me an hour. An hour for what? That's what I wanted to know..apparently they put it on the lift and check this that and the other thing. Are you friggin kidding me? The Jeep is brand new. So he asks how long I have..I told him 10 minutes because it shouldn't be more than just to hook the car up to the inspection machine and be done with it. So he yells over to Anthony the service manager, telling him I only have 10 minutes to wait for an inspection. Anthony didn't even lift his head, he just laughed out loud and kept doing whatever he was doing. Rude. I left and told them I would pay for an inspection somewhere that it takes 2 minutes, not my entire lunch hour and then some. No wonder they send free inspection coupons, they know no one will take the time to wait. Stupid place. And nice service manager, Anthony Giordano who seems to be bothered by ANYTHING he has to deal with. Update 3/24/18..car inspected in under 2 minutes, paid $10. Well worth the wait! read more

After leasing 6 cars from Croton Auto Park, having now one Jeep Wrangler 4e 2022 and a 2019 Cherokee Trail Hawk 2019. It was time to trade in the Cherokee. I was given four different prices on the new car every time they came with a higher months payment plus another $2,000.00 dollars on top of the trade in. I was so disgusted with the back and forth with the nonsense from the sales manager I ended up just buying the car from Chrysler leasing. For four days they just kept telling me a mistake was done on the price and wanted higher monthly payment. The service department and parts department is just as bad. Needed a new key fob for the Wrangler they said it was $500.00 dollars and take 6 months. I went to Bedford Jeep the key cost $230.00 and took three week. Guess what dealer I'am going to next time I lease the other Jeep. I even wrote a letter to the owner of Croton Auto Park and he never responded, so this tells you how much they really care about customers. read more

Our experience with Gabrielle and Frank was fantastic from start to finish. They manage to strike a balance with being informative, helpful, and laid back. They provided options, let us look at a few cars multiple times, were available to discuss, but gave us time to test drive and really check out the vehicles. Gabrielle picked the perfect Cherokee for me to test drive when I first came in which we ended up getting. However, we debated with the Compass and Frank was upfront that they didn't have the color we wanted, but could locate one for us. In contrast, a different dealer said they did have the color on their website, I called and they confirmed they had it for us to drive, so we went to test drive, and of course they didn't have it either. When we had firmly decided on the Cherokee, Gabrielle and Frank thoroughly explained the various rebates, fees, and payment options to find what worked best for us. They made finalizing the details easy and we happily drove home the same day with our new car. I was very happy with the experience and highly recommend this dealership. read more

I would give this dealership zero stars if there was an option. If you are looking to be treated with respect and common courtesy stay far away from here. My family and I had an appointment to look at a specific vehicle. When we showed up (on time) for our appointment after driving over an hour, we were told that the vehicle we came to look at was being sold that very second to another buyer. This dealership did NOT think to call us before we made the 2 hour trip down, and the saleswomen continued to give us an "I don't know what you want me to do about it" attitude while continuing to try and interest us in other vehicles that were not even up to the same standard as the vehicle we had the appointment for. I worked with Vinny Deluca to buy my 2014 Jeep Compass. I had the general idea of what I wanted in a new car (my lease on was up on my Subaru Legacy). I went in with my mother-in-law and Vinny was extremely helpful and patient. He let both of us test drive the Compass and explained the entire car, including different models to us. When it came down to numbers, they had no problem giving me a general overview of what my payments would be like before running a credit check or going further with a sale. There were cash back incentives that really did help too. So far my in-laws have bought 8 cars from Croton Auto Park in the past 20 years or so. This is my first and I know I will be going back when it's time for a new one. Not only were they helpful and NOT pushy at all when buying this car, but my fiance leased his Chrysler 200 from them about a year ago and they have been nothing but great.
