When I was looking at Baltimore attractions closest to my Airbnb, I instantly made a note. And from the moment that I first walked through its outdoor sculpture garden before even entering the building, I knew I was in for a treat! It might not be as expansive as other art museums I've been to, like the Philadelphia Museum of Art and MOMA. But it's well curated with impressive Asian and African art wings, an awesome section devoted to local Baltimore artists, and works from artists spanning across the globe and centuries. I've touched on it in the opening, but the fact that its a free museum experience unless you choose to pay less than $10 to see the special featured exhibit is absolutely amazing and unfathomable! Since the current featured exhibit had the works of Matisse, whom I've seen plenty of times, I decided to take in everything else, and could have easily spent 5+ hours taking it all in! With features like this inside and out, and the incredible value, I'm honestly surprised that the BMA doesn't get mentioned in the conversation about must-visit art museums in the US!

When you enter the tasting room, it's clean, calm, and inviting. Our group had our wine tasting led by Anthony, who is a wonderful person and a comedian in his own right. He kept us entertained while also making sure we were well informed about each wine we tasted. We did their tasting experience, which includes about eight wines to explore, and it was a great way to get a feel for their offerings. I finally made it this year and it was worth the wait! The winery is beautifully decorated. Very on theme for their brand. It's quiet and relaxing inside. The perfect respite from traffic on the long journey home. The staff there yesterday afternoon were very friendly. We were greeted right away and made to feel very welcome. The gentleman working took good care of us. He took the time to explain the history of the wines and didn't make us feel rushed. We leisurely tasted some wines before purchasing some bottles to take home. We look forward to returning again on our next trip to the eastern shore!

It was not clear on the website when making reservations that the menus posted were not for the igloos. Even items we asked about on the menus provided were not available (menu said available until 3 pm in igloo, it was 200 but still told no- yet we also couldn't get the steak or rockfish in the igloo. As well, previous igloo visit options provided fondue for 2 (not 5!) and could be altered for one meat and one seafood eater however this time we would've had to at $240 to get both. At minimum $120+$10-$12 extra to add one skewer. Although the ambiance is an "experience" it was not a satisfying culinary experience. As well, it was not clear we couldn't divide our checks up amongst each couple as most all restaurants can do. (Can only do 2 checks, we had 3 couples) It was more cumbersome on the waitress and us than just charging each couple one bill, we weren't sharing food or said put half this on each etc. it was clearly just 3 couples. As for what we did get... if crab dip hadn't had a shell in it I wouldn't have believed it had any crab in it, just cheese flavor. Steak skewer was well done (no choice given) yet veggies were aldente (to say the least). Wine was good but limited selection. I really don't understand why I can eat one think inside yet can't 20' away we would've had a much better experience if some accommodating had been offered on any of the above issues.

It's easy to find and nicely laid out. I saw that folks were biking here, too. Crow Farm was recommended to me as a good starting point to experience what Maryland vintners are producing. I've never consumed Maryland wine before, so was intrigued as to what I would get. I've now tasted all 3 reds. One stood out for me: the 2016 Merlot. Also, I appreciate that Crow sells some wine in half bottles. So, kudos to them for that. The surprise that I didn't see coming: their grass-fed Angus Porterhouse steak is blue ribbon. It's tender and delicious. Really wish that I had bought more of their beef.

She took time to not just pour the wine but actually talk to us and shared some stories and chatted for a while! It also looked like everyone in there was having a great time along with the staff.
