I wish I could leave a better review . The only good thing about this place was the free popcorn. The young man playing guitar and harmonic was amazing !!! Made my daughter cry during one of his songs . My husband had a smash burger and I had a steak and cheese. Way over priced ! No sides ! Not to mention my husbands beer was forgotten for 15 minutes due to poor communication. I'm also confused how my drinks were considered crushes! Do not get the Gentleman's crush! Came back to Ten Eyck, as I do now and then. It's a little bit of a drive, so I can't come as often as I might otherwise. I still leave my review as a 4 star review. They have some really good in-house beers and some that are okay. The service was pretty good, but I think they may have been short staffed. I asked about a couple of beers they used to have, but they were out, and the server said they had been having problems getting some of the grain they use for brewing. They had several other beers from other breweries (not all local). I really try to patronize the local small brewers, as I can get beers from large scale brewers at plenty of places. They do offer a veterans discount, and I think also first responders (but not 100% sure of that). I do really enjoy the Tail Dragger IPA. They had a solo guitar guy playing. He was ok, except the volume was way too loud for such a small venue, and it was uncomfortable to sit through. Due to the weather, the doors to the outside were shut, and so everything was confined to just the taproom. read more

Another delightful visit! First and foremost, the staff is absolutely fantastic. Welcoming, engaging, and genuinely fun to interact with. They make you feel like you're catching up with an old friend at the bar. They'll chat through what you're in the mood for, offer suggestions, and keep the vibe relaxed even when the lines get long. Everyone still gets their moment, and it's appreciated. And the beer...once again, a knockout. Each new beer we tried had its own unique flavor profile, and we couldn't resist grabbing some cans to take home. Some awesome highlights from this visit: The bartender remembered us from last year when we stopped in after a race for a celebratory beer and even remembered our free beer tokens (which we did bring back)! We kept it to just one pour, but bought beer to-go to show support. Just a great group of people who clearly care about the space and the community. Still hoping to make it back for happy hour pitcher nights and finally try some of the amazing-looking food from their food truck. Stopped here for a couple beers and dinner on a Friday night. We tried an IPA, stout, sour, and jalapeño ale. All of the beers were pretty good and we were impressed with the diverse selection on tap/can pour. The food menu was classic bar food, with nothing bad but nothing amazing. I can't wait to come back! My sister frequents Ten Eyck with her foster doggos and now I know why. The service was incredible, both girls last Saturday were amazing. We all ordered flights and food, and a hot dog for the (apparently cannibalistic ) foster pup, Liam Chops. They had an awesome selection for flights; definitely something for everybody. We ordered wings, street corn dip, a burger and the pretzel bites with beer cheese. The other patrons were very friendly and even said bye to Liam Chop when we left. I loved the outdoor seating and stringed lights in the evening. We'll be coming back this week! read more

Happened to be in this area on a mini vacation when I found this brewery. Stopped in for a flight and wasn't disappointed. I got the flight of Fetch, Taildragger, Make them Eat Their Words, and a Jalapeno Brain (very curious about that one). I enjoyed the Fetch Hazy IPA and the Taildragger Hazy IPA. The Jalapeno Brain was an amber ale brewed with jalapenos which really gave it a kick at the end. Interesting. Like drinking nachos. Good...if you like nachos. :) I was able to see the tanks and buy a to-go pack of Taildragger that I have been enjoying this week at home. Very friendly bartender. He answered questions and was very personable. Seems to be a very laid back operation where people can gather for some tasty brew and some snacks, as well as bring their dogs. read more

An amazing, small town brewery and a fun spot to spend on a weekend night! All the beers are made in house and the staff/bartenders could not have been nicer. The ciders, IPAs, and fruity beers are definitely a hit! They even do special beers like a "peep" flavored beer for Easter. Ten Eyck Brewing was a pleasant surprise on the Eastern Shore. Located close to outlets beyond the Kent Narrows Bridge it is a great stop to or from the beach. The staff were amazing and enjoyed engaging with the guests. They were well aware of their offerings and well versed in the science of beerology. So what do they offer... a great variety of beers ranging from sours, to sweets, to stouts and even beer ice cream. The atmosphere is fun and they allow you to bring your own snack and enjoy the day. We came for the beer and truffle pairing. After a record breaking trip across the bridge (solely because there is no beach traffic in February) we settled in for our beer and truffle pairing. Happy Chicken out of Chestertown was cooking and provided the chocolates too. I tried four new beers and three of them were not styles I would normally like but add some amazing truffles...sweet fancy Moses. And while celebrating Valentine's Day with your kid in tow is not wonderful, the WiFi made conversation and sitting possible. Love this place, the owners and concept. And that they support other local businesses through partnerships like this. Also, freaking awesome beer. read more

The drinks are enough for 5 stars but the staff is INCREDIBLE. Seriously such a fun, welcoming, accommodating, caring, and friendly crew that it makes me want to quit my job to work there just so I can hang out with all day. We made a special trip to Ten Eyck and it didn't disappoint. Amazing selection of craft brews. I'm not a beer aficionado so bear with me while I describe. My favorite was the sour (reminded me of a Weis) and the cider was incredible (more dry than sweet). Also tried an Oktoberfest. They have a flight option-which I recommend. You can bring your own food, plenty of room for little kids to run around, and great non-alcoholic beverage options (try the hop water!). If you are anywhere on the eastern shore or near the Bay Bridge, it's well worth a trip! read more

I have been waiting for a while for the brewery to open to the public and I was very impressed. The inside was pleasant and well staffed. The outdoor area has large tables spaced out appropriately. The brown ale that I had is very tasty and the options on tap are quite varied. Numerous crowler, mini keg and keg options exist for takeout/curbside pick up. read more

What a fun little spot! We live near-ish-by and have been meaning to stop in however, Covid throws a wrench in so many plans. We decided to cruise on over. What a convenient place to drop in right off 50! I was completely surprised by the adorable interior and the very impressive outside area. I was a little confused of what to do when I walked in. The bartenders were so nice when they let us know it was seat yourself,QR codes, and the server would meet us at our table. We brought our own food with us (though they had a food truck that looked great parked out front). We found some comfy Adirondack chairs outside and settled in. Service was AMAZING. Thanks especially to Lauren and Hannah. They also had no issue reigning in some groups who we're trying to press their luck on covid protocol, which I greatly appreciated. Beer was fantastic! We had the Latte Art, Moroccan Marrakesh, Red IPA, Boots on the Ground, which were all great. Cant wait to come back and bring our pup! read more
