The lessons were good but it did not work with my schedule. I love that they answered all my questions patiently because I was a beginner. I went through their rent to own program and was set on ordering a harp within a month of rental/beginner lessons. I forget the name of the young woman who helped me but she introduced me to the song Inisheer and was kind enough to play it on every harp multiple times until I figured which sound I preferred. After waiting half a year for my harp to be made, they have been friendly and have helped me replace my stribgs as needed because I still lack confidence in replacing them. You must visit this gem but beware. You might be sucked into buying a harp as you listen to the harp in the small garden.

= HIDDEN IN BUILDING C =…read more The Sexson Auditorium is located within Pasadena City College. It's old, but a lot of people like to use this venue for performances, speeches and special events. Perhaps they have an abundance of parking spaces available on the weekends, or maybe the cost to rent this venue is cheaper than the Civic Auditorium down the street. The Sexson Auditorium sits facing Colorado Blvd. There's no parking lot directly next to it, so expect to park at the structure and walk. If you have never attended Pasadena City College, please try to find it on the 2nd floor of Building C. Please always remember to pay for the parking (even it is on a Sunday) because the last thing you want is to find a parking violation stuck to your windshield at the end of the day. It's a general auditorium with horrible seats. I can't help but wonder when is the last time they upgraded because the seats are old and uncomfortable. If you have back problems, I would highly recommend that you bring something extra for the back or behind.

The sound and the vibe echoed throughout the hall was riveting to the bone. The duet by Mariné Ter-Kazaryan (soprano), and Gayane Simonyan (piano) was so surreal. The harmony between the two throughout the performance was seamless and truly a memorable event to be part of. This performance hall and venue is so unique and in par with the top performing halls elsewhere. The creator of the program is non other than Melissa Froehlich, the Director of Development at the center who meticulously produced tonight's flawless performance.

They staked out a pretty good area right in the middle of campus with a nice lawn area for the concert. The stage and sound setup was actually quite nice considering it was an outdoor concert and I was not expecting to be able to hear/ understand any of the lyrics / words of the song. On top of that, they played some of my favorite songs as well as some of their really awesome new stuff. They even played a huge encore at the end. There weren't too many people at this event to my surprise but I definitely had a blast.
