I referred this business to one of my colleagues at work. They were extremely disappointed with the service received for this rental hall. The air conditioner had broke days before their events and they did not receive notice that this issue occured until going to decorate the day of the event. The owner provided one commercial fan and was asked to get another fan in which he did provide. However their was over sixty guest so two fans did not provide enough coolness for that many people. The other issue was chair covers were paid for and being provided by the owner in a specific color. They were notified days before that the chair covers they wished to rent he did not have in the color specified. They had to settle for a different color. When the owner was addressed about the disappointment and the lack of communication he was extremely rude and defensive. His response was they had the event. I would reconsider thoroughly letting J and J entertainment hall accommodate your rental hall needs. read more

As a wedding planner, I've dealt with plenty of DJs who tend to have rather . . . douchy (sorry for lack of a better word! ha) attitudes and truth be told, you hope to interact with them as little as possible. Enter Jon and Jon Mark, who offer a COMPLETELY opposite experience. So kind, so professional, so good at what they do! I was extremely pleased with their full audio and visual services for my wedding (full-gamut: pre-ceremony music, mic'ed ceremony, cocktail hour, speeches, live musical performance, projected videos, etc.). They were open to everything we requested of them and on the day, we never had to follow-up on anything, because they had it all covered. We got many compliments from guests on the sound quality and music choice, and we had people on the dance floor until the very end -- always a good sign! Hire these guys; you won't be sorry. J & J Events are the best! They did all the sound, lighting and DJing for a variety show/party I hosted last night. They made our casual event sound completely professional. Awesome dinner music. Dancing was super fun - they played great music. DJ did a great job keeping the party moving. Because it was a variety show we had multiple people with instruments and various sound needs. Jon and Jon handled everything and there was not one complication! With 12 acts!! They even provided lighting when the stage got too dark. They truly made the party a success. This is a very fun review to give because we are so passionate about these guys....so here goes... We used J&J events for our wedding at Temecula Creek Inn this past Friday. John Mark and John Damiani are friends of my husband's so it was an easy decision for us to use them. However, I had never personally heard their work so was just trusting (and praying!) that they would do a good job. Let me tell you- THEY BLEW OUR MINDS. We had a very specific vision with fairly complicated requests, and we are extremely particular so to exceed our expectations is not easy to do. But they caught the vision, made it their own and completely delivered. The end result- from the moment the guests arrived to the venue, to the ceremony, the cocktail hour and dinner then finally the dancing was like an event I have never experienced. I was expecting all the music and knew the flow and I was still in awe. It felt like a movie the whole time!! When it really hit me that these guys are INCREDIBLY talented was that they mastered the art of having a very peaceful ceremony and cocktail hour with instrumental music, then transitioned so well into throwing a rocking dance party. They read the crowd, killed it with the song choice and had a packed dance floor the whole night. My husband and I didn't want to leave and we were the last ones there which was nice because we closed the night with John and John. My husband and I got married on November 3, 2017 and one of the best things about our wedding was the team of vendors that made it all happen. Jon and Jon Mark were better than anything we could have imagined for a DJ and emcee. They are amazing at what they do and it's obvious that they love doing it. I have a fairly conservative family who aren't big dancers but my husband's family loves to dance so the fact that J&J could cater to both families was a tall order that was executed perfectly. From the start of the ceremony to the very end of the reception I was perfectly happy. The dance floor was packed the entire night, they never picked a bad song and we received positive feedback from multiple guests. Not only do they make a great team but they were easy to get a hold of before the wedding, punctual, professional, kept my husband and I on schedule and incredibly sweet people all around. My wife and I had our wedding a few weeks ago on June 4th. We had wanted to be very budget conscious and some DJs can be way overpriced and you have no real idea of what you're going to get. We met with Jon Damiani and he helped work with our budget. When we met with him for the first time, probably about 11 months before our wedding, we were both shocked with just how nice he was. Great guy, but it was hard for us to really know how he would do that day. We told him about what we wanted. We had people of all ages at our wedding, and so it was very important for us to not turn it into purely a dance club scene. It was important to have that, but it was very important to us to mix that with maybe some older, different paced songs for the older crowd. He seemed to understand. Flash forward to a week before the wedding date and we met with Jon again. Same experience, super great guy. We talked about the layout of the ceremony and reception and where things would be placed, what he would provide, etc. We gave him a music list and instructions for the processional, grand entrance, first dance, some clips to play during the ceremony, etc. We also gave a list of possible songs so he would understand the feel we wanted for the cocktail hour, dinner, dance floor. We didn't give him many must-play songs because we really wanted to give him flexibility. He asked a few important questions we didn't really think about such as the mood before the ceremony even starts and made sure we had everything covered. He also let us know his partner Jon Mark would be coming to help. Wedding day comes. They're both there on time. They set up speakers for the ceremony and reception. They mic'd myself and the officiant up and provided handheld mics during speeches for the reception. They hit all their cues during the ceremony. During cocktail hour and dinner they played my music list for the most part, adding a few songs appropriately. We also wanted our grand entrance to be at a specific time in the song when they announced our names and they got it perfectly. During the dance floor they got the feel we wanted perfectly. Great song selection, the dance floor was beyond packed at the beginning, slowed down a tad in the middle when everyone got a bit tired and started eating dessert, but they seriously brought it back big. They played the Cupid Shuffle at one point and most people didn't really know how to do it, so Jon Mark got on the dance floor and showed everybody how to do it while Jon Damiani kept it going. Great help. Before our final song, they played Journey - Dont Stop Believin and everyone gathered in one huge circle around the dance floor and sang along. Great choice before our final song. They did exactly what we wanted, super nice guys, couldn't be happier. read more

About a month before the wedding, we met up to review our song choices and timeline. They were both very professional but laid back and easy going at the same time. Jon was the best and so professional! Initially, our wedding was going to require the DJ to set up shop in three different locations, which would have been quite difficult,,,even so, Jon was willing to do it with no complaints! Then, when the big day finally came, it was raining cats and dogs! So Jon had to scratch the original plan and figure out something new on the spot...The sound for the ceremony was perfect and everything ran smoothly...and the reception was crazy fun! Jon and Jon Mark are phenomenal DJs and, all-around, great guys. We asked the two to DJ our vineyard wedding in Napa and we have absolutely no regrets! They met up with us a couple times before the event to hear about our vision, answer our questions, and clarify any specific moments we wanted to highlight during the big day. They provided excellent set up and sound quality for live music in an outdoor setting during the ceremony. I had also thrown out a rather eclectic mix of genres I liked for cocktail hour and they totally killed it. Finally, for the dance portion, we wanted fun top-40s and their selection was on point, relevant, and they respected our request not to play certain songs we did not like. These guys are amazing! They DJ'd our November 7th wedding and we literally have not one complaint. Going into choosing a DJ we wanted to make sure they were people who could appreciate the style of music we wanted and stay away from taking over the mic with cheesy jokes. We can assure you J&J events did just that. They went out of their way to do a venue walk through and talk with us ahead of time about the vibe we wanted to set for each part of our wedding. They even helped us come up with song ideas where we were struggling. They had all the necessary equipment and took care of all the set up. We didn't have to worry about bringing anything extra. The night of the wedding went perfect as Jon and Jon played exactly what we requested in perfect time with reception schedule.
