I just checked with Michigan roofing codes and there is no such change in layers. Double layer is acceptable in all Michigan cities. I also checked Go To Roofing for verbiage. Posted on their site shows they do double layer roofing. I don't like being conned. I believed rep as being trustworthy. I did have an option but it wasn't given to me. Well they also have a $500 NON REFUNDABLE APPLICATION FEE. Of course they don't tell you until after you sign!! We agreed on a type of style /color and apparently my insurance didn't cover it. Did anyone check since they claimed to work with Insurance? nope Did he return the style while on the phone with my insurance and myself the homeowner to prevent a hiccup along the way? NOPE, he said we'll deduct the difference... did we ever receive a difference ? NOPE Yes, it was the "owner" who conveyed the issue after realizing.
