Bogdana, Abby, Carmella, and Joella are dedicated teachers who put the needs of their kid-community first throughout the pandemic. I do not know what we would have done without them. While always being thoughtful and conscientious of health and safety for the kids, themselves, and the community at large; the teachers always pushed themselves to find a way to keep the kids learning and feeling secure throughout 2020 and 2021. The educational objectives were routinely surpassed. Helping the kids develop the tools necessary to be positive contributors to society was a staple of the education. Learning Garden was a real sanctuary for our family during a challenging period. We feel thankful to be a part of this community.

They talked pricing but she didn't feel comfortable at this point so she said no thank you. Celena then insisted on getting her phone number down so they can "reach out after some consideration" which doesn't make sense bc after consideration WE have their number to follow up? My partner restated her no thank you and turned to walk out the building and Celene said " I look forward to seeing you again." So either they let anyone work there or Celena is in heat.

She would get really sick for a week, go back to school for two weeks and then would get sick again for another week. At the time, I thought this was normal. Now, while I know kids get sick at school, she has not gotten sick at the new school. The teachers at her current school are constantly cleaning and having the kids wash their hands all the time. We really liked Country Village while we were there. The teachers were great. However, now that we've had a chance to compare with another school, I just wish Country Village would have put more of an emphasis on cleanliness. It would have saved many sleepless nights and visits to the pediatrician.

That was this morning's conversation with my 4 year old. And we often have similar conversations throughout the week. "Is it a school day?" "When can I go back to school?" He loves his school! So I figured it was about time I share his and my love for his school with others. My son's confidence and independence has soared since starting Hand in Hand Montessori. His teachers have really helped his social skills, as well as allow him to work on the things he enjoys, like letters and numbers. He comes home and shows me all the yoga poses he's learned. It's adorable! The schedule, 8:30-3:30 is perfect for us. It really has jumpstarted him for Kindergarten. The small class size is also great for my kid who doesn't do well with too much noise and activity. I feel fortunate to have found a school my son loves, allows him to learn at his own pace, and he always looks forward to going.

The children learn to do works by watching older children and from teacher lead lessons. The tasks are perfectly developmentally appropriate. The kids love the calm atmosphere. My son who is 9 still refers to yoga and dancing he did at Hand in Hand. It is a great place for all kinds of children- those that are lively and those with mello personalities. Gina and Erik are also great resources for parents, especially parenting challenges.

He has totally thrived in the environment, with past and current teachers, and we've seen such a difference in his ability to express himself, talk through his feelings, and be curious. We even had to go to the ER a month or so back, and while he was scared we asked him to do his big breaths (learned at Cove), he did, and it helped him get through. We were amazed! The parent community at the school is great too. We've met lots of other engaged, wonderful parents that are just great to see at pick up/drop off or even do play dates with. We're so happy we enrolled our toddler here and have plans to enroll our youngest when he gets old enough.
