Great install and quote was accurate! I wanted to redo my system and update the remote and outside speaker. It took a little while to get the details worked on what I needed. They asked me to take pictures of my equipment so they knew what to buy before They arrived. They got the pics, wrote a quote, and sent me a contract prior to coming over. I've used a few A/V "specialists" for everything from mounting TV's on the wall to installing full AV systems. The average rating I would give them all would maybe be a 3.0. Either the knowledge isn't there or the attention to detail, or an unwillingness to respond to follow up issues after the job is done, the check cashed. And in some cases a combination thereof. But not so with Crown. Joe and Jimmy have been out to my home a few times now, the first while walls were open during a remodel, later to finish including installation of Sonos, hanging a TV, installing indoor/outdoor speakers and redoing all the wiring in my AV rack. And finally to make my security DVR from an installation done by someone else, work as it was supposed to. They will install what you own or sell you what you need but most important, they will also recommend you NOT buy what you don't need. When was the last time you experienced that? So the last few moves have required professionals to mount and unmount tvs. I found Crown Jewell on yelp, and was very impressed by Joe's wife and her professionalism while setting up an installation time. The Job: 3 TVs, 1 60" plasma mounted, 1 42" LCD mounted, 1 42" LCD unmounted. They unmounted the two mounted TVs at my old apartment and transported them and my other tv to the new home (5 miles). Then mounted all three in as many hours. I don't know how you can beat that. Joe and his employees are all very professional and courteous. We're talking laser levels, company insignia on their shirt, measure twice cut once, no slip grip glove, kick ass service. Don't let anyone else install your TVs. CALL JOE! Thanks guys! Joe, Lisa and Jimmy were great! I had a system 95% installed by another contractor and I could not get him back to finish the last steps. This was not a big job, but after hearing my sob story Lisa had Joe give me a call. Joe listened to my needs and gave an accurate estimate. Once approved he and Jimmy came out and finished the project! It's weird, the system worked, but the wiring was a mess and if you touched something, it stopped working. Joe organized all the wiring, installed better connections,and eliminated a whole bunch of excess wire. He made sure the new connections to other sections of the house actually tied into the network and he added an appropriate power source. Jimmy handled the programming and made all the smart systems at my disposal actually work. He tied all the devices into our Google account and made sure all the programs were downloaded and set up. I really love this company. If they were also roofers, I'd hire them again (we need a new roof apparently). I called another company in the area and Joe's prices were about 4 times cheaper so I decided to go with him. After he started mounting my TV, we changed our mind on where we wanted it so he moved it no problem only to discover that the new TV we bought did not work. We had 2 other companies come out for a quote, but they both told us they would not be able to hide the equipment and recommended getting an entertainment center cabinet (if we wanted an entertainment cabinet, we can go buy one and install it ourselves).
