There was also a difference in how people communicated, some people were borderline rude and could care less, but not Bob George. He was not only responsive and professional from beginning to end, but also one of the best prices I was quoted. He was also flexible with the time, was able to accommodate me when I was available earlier. As opposed some of the other bigger companies that have millions of customers and you are dealing with admins, random staff and call centers, here you are always dealing directly with Bob. The install went super smooth, Bob came on time, he was in and out in less than an hour. He is also a local small business, just 'a man with a van', a genuinely nice guy with decades of experience doing this type of work so I was happy to support a local business owner. He told me that he is semi-retired, however, so if you're looking to get more labor-intensive work done in your home, he may no longer do it, but standard things like a disposal install, it's no problem. Definitely recommended, hope he doesn't completely retire too soon in case I need him in the future!

Fortunately, Jessica, who stepped in at the last minute to confirm the move, convinced us an hourly rate might be more advantageous, and she was right, saving us a considerable sum. The crew who carried out the move, Josh, Anthony, and Tom, were terrific--friendly, efficient, and professional. We were left feeling we'd had an overall positive experience with OC Moving in spite of the earlier annoyances.
