Dude working there in the front stared at me when I walked in like he had never seen a human before. I go downstairs to check it out and realized I needed to ring the bell to get into the vault for any decent liquor. It wasn't just top shelf, it was basically everything but wine and mixers locked up. I rang the bell....waited. I rang the bell again.....waited. I finally go upstairs to get some help and he tells me he LOST the key to the vault. it's just a padlock on a chain and you lose the key and turn away business. I had been there waiting nearly 20 minutes and this now comes up. Ridiculous and I will never recommend anyone go here.

I was looking for a specific tequilla... and they had it! Not only that they had several tequilas open for tasting so I was able to find a new tequila that is good tasting and very smooth. The sales associates on the floor are very knowledgeable; they don't just work there, they actually know what they are talking about which is very helpful. The have wine tasting on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They also offer classes to learn about wine.

I was totally taken aback by the level of customer service I was provided. Upon entering the store, i headed to what I thought was the correct area. 2 different employees walked past and spoke to me as they walked by. I thought that was pretty nice. Then a third one went past and asked if they could help me. I told her what I was looking for and she walked me to it. I am happy she did. She showed me where the help wanted button was that I didn't see and that also wasn't labeled. But since she walked me back and identified it for me it was ok. Then an employee came back and helped me. She was very nice and pleasant and said she would have my order up front at the registers. Even the cashier was both nice and friendly. Each employee I encountered gave me a high level of customer service. I also liked the fact that the store was very neat and clean and very organized. I can tell by this location that customer service is very important to this company.

We had a friend who was changing jobs, and I wanted to give him a send-off gift. He's a bartender…read moreat a higher end restaurant, so I knew he was picky about his wines. I asked him what wines he liked, and he said, "I always like a good New Zealand Sau Bla." Fortunately I knew that was bartender for Sauvignon Blanc, so the next day I headed to the Kahn's web site, shopped a little, and picked out one from the Marlborough region, feeling pretty confident about my choice thanks to the description on the Kahn's web site. I ordered it online, went in to pick it up, and even was able to get a nice gift bag on site. Thank you, Kahn's! When I gave it to him, he literally gushed. It turns out he had bought that himself several years ago, and liked it so well that his restaurant served it for about a year. I had definitely struck gold! Thank you, Kahn's, for making the whole experience very easy for me, and a positive one for him!

Parking is widely available in their own lot and carts are conveniently located too. Store is really well kept and looks beautiful coming in, but obviously the focal point is the alcohol. The people there are always very helpful. I had two people stop by and ask if they could help me out in different sections of the store, and they walked by and did the same to everybody that was looking and didn't seem to have found what they were looking for.

After we purchased our items, one of the guys from the opposite side of the store tried to claim that she stole a TWISTED TEA when she HAS NO POCKETS ON HER PANTS. Go check your cameras. You're horrible at you're job. If you're gonna be a pig, come up with a better excuse. Worst service ever. Won't be returning.

Monarch is monstrous. You would almost think it was an automobile plant. They have 15 (!) acres of beer and wine warehouse space which is only a 21-day supply which is unthinkable to me. They have a very good wellness program that includes an onsite doctor and nurse practitioner, onsite fitness facility, subsidized offsite gym memberships, free fruit, and subsidized salad bar. Not sure if it is open to the public, but if you ever get the chance to have a function there, I highly recommend it (of course they have a beer/wine bar).
