Recently I was preparing ingredients to bake Brandy Snaps Cookies using a British recipe that called for a very small amount of brandy and I did not have any. This store sold several varieties of brandy in tiny bottles, which was helpful as I didn't think I would need any more than the 1 tablespoon the recipe called for. The clerk was helpful in recommending what I needed for the recipe. In fact, other customers in the store looked up the recipe on Pinterest and suggested the particular type of brandy I needed for the recipe. The store is clean and the staff is helpful and friendly. I wouldn't say I am a regular customer, but when I need a specific item, it is always available and I feel safe shopping at this location.

Every single person who is inside the store is required to have an ID proving that they're over 21. It doesn't bother me; I always have all that stuff in my purse anyway. Don't be an ashole. Bring your ID, and Be Nice to the employees. That bulletproof cage they work in just might be there for your own safety. Just sayin'

The sales associates on the floor are very knowledgeable; they don't just work there, they actually know what they are talking about which is very helpful. The have wine tasting on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. They also offer classes to learn about wine.

Upon entering the store, i headed to what I thought was the correct area. 2 different employees walked past and spoke to me as they walked by. I thought that was pretty nice. Then a third one went past and asked if they could help me. I told her what I was looking for and she walked me to it. I am happy she did. She showed me where the help wanted button was that I didn't see and that also wasn't labeled. But since she walked me back and identified it for me it was ok. Then an employee came back and helped me. She was very nice and pleasant and said she would have my order up front at the registers. Even the cashier was both nice and friendly. Each employee I encountered gave me a high level of customer service. I also liked the fact that the store was very neat and clean and very organized. I can tell by this location that customer service is very important to this company.

On this visit, I was searching for a specific flavor of pretzels that Kiara told me about (the ones she gets on the plane), which are supposedly only sold at Total Wine. I saw other flavors in the store, but not the one I was looking for. The brand of the pretzels is Stellar and I was searching for the Maui Monk flavor. The website indicated that they had it in stock, so I asked a worker for help. Unfortunately, he was unhelpful and made me feel like I was bothering him, so I continued searching on my own. After some time looking on my own, I asked another employee, who was much more helpful. He took the time to check and explained that they were likely out of stock and that the online inventory isn't always accurate. He also mentioned how popular the pretzels are and that they sell out quickly--even he buys several when they come in. My husband was also looking for a small bottle of Cointreau, but they were out of that as well. I decided to try another flavor of the pretzels - Sweet and Sparky. These were good, had a spice to them with the buffalo flavoring. These bags are priced at $6.49. I'd like to eventually try the other flavors, including the one I was looking for. This visit was hit-or-miss in terms of customer service and item availability.
