I went here during the holidays when I needed a polish change and pedicure last minute. I called ahead and the person I spoke to was fine enough. Upon my arrival it was extremely crowded and I was barely greeted by either young lady working the counter. When I approached and said I'd called ahead and made an appointment I was told there would still be a wait. I waited long enough that I told them I no longer wanted the polish change but just the pedi. There were grazing boards for the holiday season and while that was nice, the atmosphere felt chaotic and unfriendly and like they were trying to get people in and out as fast as possible. The seating is jammed packed, making the atmosphere feel less like a nail lounge and more like a factory. I do not plan to return holiday season or not. read more

I usually go to my regular nail spot, but I came to Crown Nails to meet a friend since it's her go to and I'm glad I did! The space is super cute and modern, definitely has an upscale vibe. We came in for pedicures(had a reservation) and the staff were really friendly. I appreciated the more elevated touch of being personally introduced to the person who would be working with me--it made the experience feel a bit more intentional. Crown Nails really knows how to treat their clients like royalty! Two friends and I tried out Crown Nails in the Yard at Fishers for our spa day, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. All three of us inindulged in spa pedicures(regular polish), and one of my friends also got her eyebrows waxed. The reason why I took off one star from my review was because the pedicure was significantly more expensive here than at other nail salons in my area, yet the services included were pretty basic. For $38, I expected more than just the standard package. However, I suspect that Crown Nails values quality over quantity, as my pedicure was much more meticulous than the treatment I'm used to at my regular nail salons. The technician payed special attention to nail shaping, cuticle care, and correcting imperfections. The lotion massage was very luxurious and relaxed my muscles. I accidentally smudged some polish on my big toe while my nails were drying, and my technician quickly fixed it, making it look even better. All of the technicians give you a chance to speak up if you don't like your nails or if there's something you want to change, and I appreciate that they prompt this because sometimes I am afraid to speak up if I am not satisfied with the service. Crown Nails offers lots of color options for gel/dip polishes, but they only have a few bottles of regular polish. This wasn't a problem for my group, however, as we all found colors that we liked! This was my first time visiting Crown nail lounge, and I was very pleased. First, the ease of scheduling online was fantastic! I also received a courtesy call to confirm my appointment about an hour before. The salon itself is very clean and there are lots of options for polish. Hanna took great care with my gel manicure and confirmed the length I wanted before, during and after which is very thoughtful. My cuticles were cleaned up really well by her and the pedicurist Tina. This is my favorite nail salon, especially for pedicures. I love being able to walk-in without an appointment since the wait is usually minimal. They have a wide range of OPI colors and usually confirm after painting the first nail to make sure you still like the color you chose. The techs are very meticulous and gentle with clipping and cuticle maintenance. I especially love the sugar scrub and massage that comes with the basic spa pedicure. There are also several beverages to sip on while you get your nails done, and the whole salon is clean and modern. Will not get pedicures anywhere else! read more

I really want to love this place but I didn't have a great experience. I made an appointment for 3pm with Ann for a dip. I was greeted and checked in when I arrived and picked from the beautiful color selections they have. They really do have a nice color selection! The salon is beautifully decorated, has a nice vibe and is clean. It's nice! I ended up waiting about 25 minutes for my appointment, which was disappointing. Ann was apologetic for my waiting but definitely rushed through my service. I felt bad when she was about to dip the color and I inquired about the cuticles being cut back. I didn't realize that I had to sign up for both a dip and a manicure separately. This is something I wish I had known when making my appointment. It is an additional $14 for a manicure. I'm not sure who gets there nails done without a manicure... that seems unhinged to me. Anywho, lesson learned. The color I chose on the samples didn't match the color in the dip powder but we got it figured out and I did get the color I had picked after all. All in all, I waited so long even though I had an appointment and my manicure is very poorly done and the color, although beautiful, is sloppy too. I'm disappointed. I don't mind spending some cash ($50 dip + $14 manicure) for great mani but this experience just wasn't worth it to me. I do plan to give this spot another try in two weeks when I need to have them done again. I plan to get a morning appointment and try another technician. I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon " crown nails " . I paid $140 for a new full Gel X set with a 3D chrome design, expecting quality work. However, within the same day, the chrome began to fade--even after I had specifically mentioned to the technician that I needed my nails to last as I'm traveling to Europe for Christmas. When I returned the next day to address the issue, I was told the original technician was unavailable, so someone else attempted to "fix" the problem. Instead of restoring the 3D chrome design, they applied multiple top coats that completely erased the design. When I spoke to the owner about this, he was extremely rude and dismissive. Rather than addressing my concerns professionally, he implied I was lying and showed zero accountability for the poor service. His condescending attitude, especially toward a female client, was unacceptable and disrespectful. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. Poor quality work, lack of professionalism, and complete disregard for customer satisfaction--especially from the owner--have made this a truly disappointing experience. Saw this spot opened up not too long ago and decided to have a girls day and include this place as part of the day. The location is in a prime place and easy to get to with plenty of parking. I made an appointment online for 9:30 which is the time they open on Saturdays. We were sat right away when we walked in which is nice. They have tons and tons of colors that don't look old and used up. They have 2 big screens and good music playing. There are around 20 pedicure chairs although not that many people working, at least not this early. They offer you wine, champagne or water as well. I had the champagne which was actually good! The tech I had was very through. She made good conversation but not too much where it was annoying. I do recommend making an appointment. Several people came without one and had to wait maybe 20 minutes since they don't have a ton of staff. I drove about 30 minutes to get here (I live downtown and they are in Fishers) but it was worth the drive. Loved the finished product and it is what's mail shop should be, relaxing, drinks, music, tv just to have something on and feel pampered. My only complaint is there isn't one downtown!!! read more

I'm always looking for a nice walk in nail salon that is reliable and quality. I do enjoy Crown for a few different reasons. First, they do have quite a few technicians working at all times, which usually means you don't have to wait super long to get your nails done. However, there are definitely some days where wait times are longer than others (Friday afternoon, Saturday, etc). Second, they do have an expansive color selection. Third, they have a guarantee policy as well as a large selection of beverage options while you are waiting or getting serviced. I love that each station has a call button for you to press when you're thirsty and someone usually comes right over to provide you with a drink. As of the start of 2024, they shared that there was an issue with their liquor license so unfortunately alcoholic beverages are currently unavailable for you to enjoy. Hopefully they will get resolved soon! In the past, you are allowed to have a drink (or even two) free of charge which I think is great. A few things to note: -There have been multiple times while I've been getting my nails done here where the acetone smell has been truly unbearable. Even to the point where I've had to ask for a mask. There's also been one other time where the front lobby truly smelled like urine. When I asked them about this, all of the workers up front acted completely unaware and didn't apologize or own up to the place being noticeably smelly. I was definitely disappointed. -If you are getting a fill or a new set of Gel-X, you will be paying the full $25 on top of the normal service charge for a manicure unless you ask them not to give you one. It would be helpful to know that up front or be informed that it's an option to kindly opt out of paying the additional $ for this. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like that should just be included in a fill for no additional cost. Getting nails done is already expensive enough! -I've had a few times where I've gone in and in a few days, my gel polish has already peeled off or not set in properly. This may be due to me not getting a full set on a regular basis or maybe just not putting my nails under the UV lamp for enough time. However, sometimes I feel like their technicians are just in such a hurry to get to the next person that quality gets compromised. Overall, if you're looking for a fast and easy nail experience I recommend this place. Just know since it's a walk in spot, you're not going to get a full 5 star experience. I've been to Crown Nail Lounge a few times now. My first visit was a nice experience. I had made an appointment so they were able to help me pretty soon after I arrived. My manicure and pedicure were nice and I left happy. My second visit was just to have my dip removed. I came after work without an appointment and they were able to help me right away. It did take awhile since they were busy, but it was only $10. The third visit I was a little disappointed only because of how long I had to wait. I had a 5:15p appointment, arrived at 5p, but someone wasn't able to help me until 5:40p. Normally this wouldn't have been as frustrating, but I heard the receptionist tell another girl with an appointment that they take walk-ins regardless of upcoming appointments. Which made me wonder, why bother making an appointment? Regardless, if you live/work nearby and have the time to wait they do a nice job, it's beautiful/clean, and they have wine. read more

I was charged an extra 10 dollars for her to BARLEY trim my nails down on top of an extra 5 dollars for "long nails" and my nails are shorter than they've even been and basically the length on my natural nails. I would not recommend anyone come to this salon unless you are okay with being scammed in to paying nearly 100 dollars for a simple nail fix. read more

The man I had initially was very rough with the nail file on my fingers and left quite a few cuts on my skin. I tried explaining the shape and length I wanted, but he did not understand. I get that there was most definitely a language barrier, but it kind of upset me that a nail tech didn't know the correct nail shapes. I ended up having a different person finish my nails for me, she did a phenomenal job as you can see in the photos. although I am quite a bit upset that no one explained to me how the pricing worked. I went in there thinking that a full acrylic set was gonna be $52 but there were a lot of extra charges that that were given, even though I showed specific photos and asked for an acrylic set. I wish they would've informed me by telling me that I would be charged more if I wanted an ombré and my nails extended. although I love my nails, I don't think that they are worth well over $80. I definitely will not be coming back, but I do appreciate how kind they were when I asked for a different person though. read more

I HAD been a regular client for quite some time. I loved the staff and clean environment. When Jason and his wife were "in house", it was always a great experience. My original tech was "Rose". I absolutely loved her! ALWAYS professional, creative and pleasant. She left, so I started going to another tech. I had been going to "Zoė" for quite some time. Everything WAS great. I started out with the regular basic mani (no designs). She mentioned she could do designs, so we bumped it up. Somewhere along the way, I noticed an attitude change and change in the care taken when filing or clipping my cuticles (drawing blood a couple times). Then every design ask became a challenge. We USED to have light convo. That changed to her having convo with the tech next to her, and I'm certain some of the convo was negative. Tipping was never an issue because I tipped her well! I only go every so often for a pedicure so I'm not really a recurring visitor so I never get to know the nail techs so it's always just random whenever I decide to go for a pedicure. Crown Nails has been the only place in Fishers that is a hit every single time, no matter who I get. Staff is friendly, they always seat my right at the time of my appointment and they are super fast! Even though they get through me quickly, they are very thorough and do an awesome job. I had a 12:30 appointment for a gel mani and pedi. It was 12:55 before I was sat down with a technician. The host did apologize to me for the wait, and it's fair, it was a busy Saturday. The technician decided to start with my pedi even though my mani was scheduled first, and that was absolutely fine. My pedicure finished at 1:37, after which the technician told me that he needed me to now sit, again, despite having an appointment because he had another appointment that came in. I don't think it was made clear to him, that I also had an appointment and had had to wait. I waited after my pedicure for a handful of minutes before the cheerful host took me to another technician to finish my pedicure. The technician took a phone call as she seated me and remained on the phone the entire process. Although my pedi looks great, super unhappy with the manicure. Somehow my price came up to an additional 42 dollars at checkout although I opted for no upgrades but gel polish. I will definitely be returning to my normal nail salon after this visit.
