Pulled in to get gas because I had just had lunch across the street. I was planning to get gas at one of the many stations on Grand or even down on Balboa before getting on the freeway, but since it was right there, I thought I would take advantage of it. Turns out, I'm the one being taken advantage of. In my entire life I've never run across this (been driving for more than 40 years).... They only have regular and premium. What happened to the mid-level 89 Octane rating? I'm definitely not putting 87 into my car but I don't need to spend the $$$ to put premium. Clearly they opted to drop the 89 octane for the 100. 100?!? Really? There are THAT many people who need/buy 100 octane? More than 89? I find this incredibly hard to believe but how about reserving it for one or two pumps at the most and making sure there is 89? No? Okay, simple enough. I'll just take my business elsewhere. Matter of fact, I would rather run out of gas, walk to another station, buy a gas can, and walk back to my car before filling up again at this place. read more

I relied on Yelp reviews and a recommendation, and decided to give this place a try. Eric the mechanic is great. He works hard and knows what he is doing. Sal kept me informed while they searched for a very hard to find radiator. I basically duplicated his efforts in searching but he came up with the best price. They checked the alt & it and it was fine but showed me my battery was leaking & told me I didn't need to necessarily change it now but soon down the road I'll need to. Just opted to do it then bc knowing me I'll forget about it and end up with a dead car in the middle of no where they were super quick with the battery change, fixed the rubber lining on my sunroof and sprayed some W-40 in all the windows/sunroof no extra charge.
