OMG, their corn beef hash is just diced up processed corn beef sprinkled on top of some overcooked hash browns. UGH !! It made my stomach hurt. For lunch try the Double Swiss Mushroom Burger or the Philly Steak. Both are good. The servers are nice and attentive, but the restaurant is tired and needs a refresh. The prices are a little high for the quality of food, but again it depends on what you get. There's lots of parking.

This was my 1st time here, and it seems like it has been bought by Uptown Cafe - logo inside and also note about the homemade strawberry jam (which is sooo good), English muffins (which seems more like bread, not nook and vramny-ish), etc. Also they use homemade ketchup, which I'm not a huge fan of, ha. Anyway, so food came out quickly, everything was a ordered. The room itswlf was a little.cold so i dont know if my food was hot and just cooled off so quickly, or if everything just wasn't that hot. The hollandaise sauce was fluffy but not lemony. The extra side was a good portion. Had to ask for a soda refill and would have liked another at the end. I did take half my food home and had it for dinner. One thing I did like a lot was the ham was very thin deli ham. #yum #ReviewsByRL

It reminded me of our Big Bad Breakfast, which is a solid equivalent. First, the menu. How does anyone pick?! The seasonal specials, the wide variety of options... Perfect. But I wanted to try more! I ended up going with a skillet, which allowed me to get pancakes as well instead of toast or biscuit. I had to try the pancakes. Everything was delicious! My husband couldn't even wait to dig into his German skillet long enough for me to take a picture! The veggie skillet just needed a little extra salt to make it perfect. And the pancakes?! Oh yes please. Soft but with crispy edges, yum yum. I didn't get anything fancy, just butter and syrup, and I ate them with some fresh fruit as well. So good. Service is friendly and fast. I was thrilled to have no wait for a table even tho the place was buzzing! Overall a great experience that I'll definitely look to repeat.

My wife had a side salad with hers. I enjoyed and order of their Shotgun Shrimp. The sandwich is very large, I cut mine half and got a full sandwich out of each half. The breading was good, not quite as crispy as some that we've had but it was good. The tenderloin itself had good flavor but had quite a bit of gristle. Serving temp was excellent, not mouth blistering, but not cool or cold like some have been I enjoyed the shotgun shrimp. Very tasty and satisfying. It could have used a little more kick, but my wife thought it was quite spicy so perhaps it was good. I just like it to tickle my mouth a little more. My wife loved her salad, crisp lettuce and the dressing was good Overall, a nice evening. The two things that would have moved my rating up to 5 would have been no gristle in the meat (we've been to 3 other places on this Trail and this was the only one that had gristle) and the background music made it difficult to talk. We left quickly because we couldn't visit comfortably Otherwise, we enjoyed the food, the ambiance was nice and the service excellent

The cutlet was a good size, the appearance was what you'd want, the cutlet far over the bun. Unfortunately it was dry and not particularly flavorful. The accompanying slaw (my preference instead of fries) was fine, as least it provided a counterpoint to the fried pork. But honestly, next time I'm in the area, I'd pass on Bubba's and probably won't be hankering for a pork sandwich again.

Naturally, I pulled up the Yelp app to search for something open nearby for recommendations. Turns out Delicia is one of my friend's boyfriend's favorite restaurant in Broad Ripple. They both frequent the restaurants in that are as they live in the neighborhood so that's definitely saying something and I can see why based on the vibe and atmosphere! We were only there for drinks (which were amazing) and they were definitely worth making another trip for. I ordered the "Pulparindo" which is slightly spicy tamarind vodka, fresh mango puree, raw sugar simple, lime juice and a yummy tajin rim. I would have had more of it wasn't last call when we placed our order. Another popular choice was the "FIRE 'N' Ice" made with el charro jalapeño infused reposado tequila, hibiscus I basil I habanero reduction, tres chiles infused ice ball. Beautiful presentation with all the drinks. Our waitress was great and attentive. I also really liked how I felt instantly in a better mood in that space and I will be going back again for dinner soon.

It was fresh, filling, and cooked perfectly. But whatever you do, don't skip the hash brown casserole. It was so good that I ordered it both mornings. It's rich, cheesy, and absolutely delicious. The second time, I ordered The Sunrise--two eggs your way with your choice of protein and a side. And yes... I went with the hash brown casserole again. No regrets. The food was consistently excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere made me want to linger. I especially loved the outdoor seating. It has a relaxed, welcoming vibe that's perfect for enjoying a slow morning over brunch. One fun surprise: they have identical twin servers, Ella and Cat. When I was there, they were both wearing red, which made it nearly impossible to tell them apart. It definitely added a fun conversation to the experience! If you're looking for one of the best breakfast or brunch spots in the area, The Roost is an easy five stars. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town.
