It feels good and relaxing to pump here. Today the cheapest regular was $5.00 a gallon. Was speaking to a woman who used to come here and now pumps her new BMW at Costco. It's right off the 5 freeway at the Avery exit, so very convenient as well, and cheaper than the other gas station a block away. I had never been to this location before and was a little stunned by the rude response, so just looked at him and said "what sign?" He didn't show me the sign but instead started raising his voice telling to follow the sign or get out. I asked if he was OK and he proceeded to raise his voice and tell me to get out or follow the sign. I tried to calmly explain that I've never been here before and that I was coming from the hospital next-door, but he just cut me off. I don't know, but because there is a Mobil station right across the way, there's always plenty of space for cars of all shapes and sizes to fill up before hitting that long stretch of nothingness through Camp Pendleton. Additionally, the station itself is really clean, and I can actually trust the food and hot beverages at this location... unlike most other gas stations where you question the last time that slimy pot of coffee was brewed.
