I stopped at this gas station to get a refill and the tall black guy had the audacity to charge me full price claiming that the rewards system wasn't working on 12/4/25 at 7:27pm which I knew he was lying. I made another stop at a location in Irvine and he said they should've charged me 99 cents since I brought my own chevron cup in. The amount isn't a big deal it's the principle. He should not be changing anyone full price knowing they brought their own cup in. read more

Kudos to giving customers FREE AIR, something that all cars need (like gas) Don't go next door to 76... Rip off for charging customers $1 for air! My car light came on and it said low air. It was thanksgiving and I spied this 76 and a Chevron right at the freeway entrance. The 76 was closer so I pulled into the air and water bay. There's a yellow sticker on the air generator that said AIR AND WATER ISNT FREE. Ok I get it, in California they can charge you. I can see if it's 50c but a dollar?? There wasn't even a sign that says free to 76 customers. Boo!! So we decided to go 500 feet to the Chevron (as I'm a Chevron card holder) and guess what?? They have FREE AIR AND WATER!! All 4 tires were low and I had to restart the generator 3 times.... Which meant it would have been $3 to add air if I had stayed at 76. That's like a gallon of gas. Sorry but how can you charge $1 when your neighbor (Chevron) can give the same service for free!??? Thank you Chevron for free air, and in a well lit station. This gas station is located at a very convenient spot, right off the 5 freeway at Oso. It is easy to get in and out of, the problem is that it's the most expensive station in the area by a mile. Like not even close, you will easily pay 25-30 cents more/gallon than any other gas stations in the area. There is a rather large convenience store AM/PM attached to the station, with free easy to access restrooms. That part is a plus. But overall, I would never get gas here unless you like throwing money away, especially when there's a 76 Gas station next door that's always at least 10-25 cents cheaper/gallon. read more

To put it mildly, my most recent trip to the Chevron gas station was disappointing. The restroom was poorly kept and the facilities' cleanliness was considerably worse than it should have been. Additionally, the pump prices were substantially higher than those at the surrounding gas stations, which was not ideal for customers on a tight budget. The customer's needs seemed to receive only a minimal amount of attention during the service. Even though convenience was a key, other aspects of the experience--such as cleanliness, cost, and customer service--were lacking. read more

I've been coming to this Chevron since I went to Saddleback College. I don't really come here for the gas, but rather the snack + beverage selection or to use their bano (restroom). It's generally a nice place to pit stop on my way north or south. Back when, the customer service was much better. More smiles and friendly greetings, but now it's gotten to a level of a typical 7-11 interaction. I'm still a fan even though I prefer the 76 gas. Hehe. read more

This place DISCRIMINATED against me. I am an essential worker and Went in to get some water in the morning, sat them on the counter and the cashier asked me if I had a mask. I politely said I don't and he said I could cover my mouth with my shirt (I'd already been in the store just needed to pay) he said I had to go outside and he'd ring them up from the window. I walked out and went to 76 station who was happy to ring me up without a mask. I then see multiple people coming out of the chevron who didn't have a mask and got what they came in for. Danillo (bald man with glasses working the register) is a total class act. Every single time i ever go here and he is working he is blatantly disrespectful and rude. The only reason i know his name is because when i asked him for it he made it a huge to-do and started mouthing off to me saying "sure....let me write it down for you." And he writes it all obnoxiously in huge letters like i am illiterate or something then cops and attitude and rudely says "go ahead and give it to the manager." Um no thanks, DANILLO. Ill pass. Like i want to talk to your bff "the manager." He himself is another total class act. Instead, DANILLO, ill post it on yelp and put u on blast just for your rude attitude every time you see me this ones for you!! Expensive for the area, but that's simply because of it's great visibility & convenience to the I-5 which it's right next to.

This Chevron is always very expensive. It's not worth it to go here unless your car is drawing it's last breath. Start chanting the theme to the Little Engine That Could so you can make it to another gas station for cheaper gas! If you drive a little bit further down the gas station in the Pavilions shopping center is not badly priced. Also it's a convenient area to fill up. read more

On 9/24/18, My wife was driving back to San Diego and had a life threatening medical emergency, having an idea of my wife's location I called this Chevron, a young lady (Saint!) answered the phone, I told her what might be happening in her parking lot to my wife, she immediately went outside (while keeping me on the phone) checked on my wife and called 911. I called right back and already heard sirens approaching! With God's will and the quick attention of LISA, MY WIFE'S LIFE WAS SAVED!!! Chevron, you unwittingly hired a true American Hero and "A Caring Loving Human Being!" I understand that Lisa has family in Malaysia that has been affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami. While the prices may be higher than other Chevron's in the area (taking advantage of being next to the Santa Ana/5 Freeway is smart business) the staff are why I come there. Customer service is rare and the morning crew rock it! Guyani is an incredible employee who is always smiling and helpful. Raj, the Assistant Manager, is the same. I go there every morning before work for the Seattle's Best (preferred over Starbucks) and it's always hot, fresh, and full when we get in there. Counters are well stocked, clean, and tidy. It's weird to review a gas station but the team there is excellent and deserve a shout out for their customer service skills! read more
