First time in Seattle and chose this hotel because of its proximity to Pike Place Market and other tourist attractions. Staff working the check-in/checkout counter were gracious and accommodations were good. Stocked with your essentials (shampoo, lotion, etc.) and plenty of towels and several pillows as well. Room was located on the 31st floor and had a beautiful view of Seattle. Liked the keycard system - scan on the Lobby floor and it programs the high speed elevator to stop at your floor. Didn't eat at the restaurant, but took a peak and it looked nice. Valet staff were also very helpful. Would we stay here again? Not sure. Was disappointed in a few things: 1. One of the Bell men was rude. We arrived at 11am (check-in was at 4pm) and asked if we could store our luggage so we could tour the area until check-in. He looked upset and said "why don't you go see if you can check in now..." So we checked at the room wasn't ready. Went back to tell him and he didn't seem happy. Luckily someone else stepped in and took our bags. 2. Adjacent rooms: Walls are paper thin. Can hear everything from neighboring rooms (talking, snoring, other bedtime noises, etc.). The light underneath the connecting door and the entry door shines bright. Didn't sleep well; guess a lot of people are early risers or got in late at 3:30-4:00am almost every night. 3. There are 4 elevators but for whatever reason it took us 30 minutes to get down to the Lobby. When we got one, there were a couple people from the 34th floor. Six of us entered and afterwards, we proceeded to stop every 3-4 floors all the way down. Some either squeezed in or skipped. All commented they have been waiting a long time. read more

The hotel was conveniently located near Pike Place Market and the Seattle ferry, which made getting around very easy. The hotel itself was well kept, and I really liked the colors and accents used throughout the property. My one complaint was the shower setup. It was difficult getting out safely because the grab bar was located on the wall by the toilet instead of the opposite wall where you actually step out. One night I almost fell, so after that I had to hold onto the safety bar and carefully step around the toilet to get out of the shower. The pillows were also a little too large and fluffy for me and ended up hurting my neck, so I stopped using them. Overall though, the location and appearance of the hotel were great. read more

Crowne Plaza by IHG is located near downtown Seattle and is conveniently located near the Symphony light rail station that connects you to the other attractions in the area. For business travelers this hotel is near the headquarters of Amazon, Expedia, and other corporations. I got the king room that had a desk, sofa, TV, and big bathroom. The room itself was spacious with a city view. The interior both inside the room and throughout the hotel were modern. There is a gym on the fifth floor and a breakfast and lounge restaurant on the second floor. One thing I noticed was that throughout the night I heard a lot of sounds from outside the room in the hallway. There was a good amount of light that came in so there were some distractions preventing a good night's sleep. read more

I have driven past this hotel a hundred times and was pleasantly surprised and impressed with its fresh and modern look and atmosphere. The entryway on the exterior is heated which is such a nice touch during this cold wet weather. You are met with a large open space that is well lit with a generous seating area that you can relax and settle into hotel. To the right is the check in desk where you are warmly welcomed to the hotel. I was assisted by Aster, standard procedure. License and credit card. The process to check in was quick, efficient handled so professionally. Thank you Aster. The elevators are operated and activated by your room key. So this is a very cool security feature. No room key, no access to the areas where the guests are staying. There are 4 elevators A-D, so when you scan your room key, it'll tell you which elevator to use. Pay attention, there will be a test later. The hotel is well maintained from the neat and clean elevators to the hallways leading to the rooms. I feel like the Crown plaza takes pride in the cleanliness of this hotel. My room is amazing and again spotless. Everything about just made me feel comfortable and relaxed. The beds are comfortable and clean. Bathroom was spotless. Even the tub looks like it's never been used. The hotel provides bathrooms essentials, ie Apotheke plant-based shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, along with hand soap and lotion. There is also a restaurant called Elevation Restaurant and Lounge that is located on the second floor of the hotel. The prices are reasonable and they offer a nice selection of options, breakfast and dinner. So you have everything you need here. The hotel location is prime and well within walking distance to downtown Seattle shopping centers, theatre aka The 5th Avenue theatre and the Pike Place Market. I almost forgot to mention that there is a parking garage located on the premises with a valet, for $63.00 usd overnight. You may come and go as you like. I just got back from staying at the Crowne Plaza for an overnight birthday trip. It's a lovely hotel! The staff are great, the building is beautiful and clean, and the bedrooms are comfortable. I would say there are a couple of negatives, but not enough to prevent me from staying there again. One, the cost to valet park overnight is $63. Second, the curtains in the room appear to be blackout curtains, but light comes in everywhere. And lastly, breakfast only goes until 10:00 a.m., but check out is noon. We really didn't want to get up at 9:00 to go have breakfast when we still had hours before we had to leave. Also, the bar and dinner restaurant don't open until 5:00 p.m. Aside from that, it's in a good location. Definitely walkable downtown, but prepare to get a decent amount of steps in. read more

We had an early flight so we came directly to the hotel to store our luggage while we went to Pikes Market. The men by the door greeted us right away and helped us store our luggage while we checked in with the receptionist. They were very welcoming and helpful. He even helped me with the elevator. The receptionist let me know she would text me when my room is ready since we arrived at 11am, way before actual checkin. Btw, they have umbrellas to loan you if you need it. We walked to Pikes Market which was a straight shot down and to the right. It's very walkable there. Took about 15 minutes out so. The convention center is like 5-10 minute walk. Starbucks Reserve is about 15 minute walk. If you're going there, stop by Voodoo Donuts. So good! You can thank me later! Ok, Back to the hotel. Beds were so comfy. I didn't toss and turn at all! Rooms are updated nicely and were very clean. The in room coffee maker comes with coffee and tea pods with 2 bottled waters. I really enjoyed that coffee! There's a mini fridge, no microwave. Rooms were a good size which I felt were bigger than the standard. They have robes in the closet if you're feeling fancy. They have soap, lotion, shampoo, etc in pumps which is convenient. I was on the 33rd floor which had a nice view. Ice machine was situated on the floor above and below me. My floor has the vending machine. They have a fillable water station below the lobby floor. Overall, great stay, nice and updated hotel, comfy beds, great location and great service. read more

Not a fan, nothing works. Checked in and despite request view is of a homeless encampment and a freeway. Ok could look past that. Bathroom door would not close so we had to leave to use restroom until fixed, then the TV has no guide, can't see channels not smart TV for when you are relaxing between plans. 2 stars for convenience to pike place. Had multiple times the room key wasn't working and got stalled in the elevator on a few occasions. But they were quick to remedy the situation and provide a new key. Car parking is 63.00 unlimited access, but you will be charged daily. Hard to find street parking only valet parking. The rooms are spacious. Nice ample lighting in the rooms. Courtesy water and coffee available. No microwave but small fridge available. Price was reasonable for the daily rooms but dang that daily parking fee. Beds were comfy and just noticed they like to have lots of hand towels in the bathroom. read more

Every front desk staff that I interacted with was very friendly and patient. Someone brought us water but I didn't get his name, thank you too! The hotel has many floors, requiring guests to tap their room card to select the floor they are going to. There are 4 guest elevators in total. Lobby can get very crowded when large groups checking-in or checking-out at the same time. We were lucky that upon arrival, there were rooms available for early check-in. There were noises from elevators and/or staircase renovation, front desk staff also helped us change to another room. I like the room is spacious and updated. The first room I got didn't have luggage rack, the second room I got missed a bar piece in the mini fridge. The second room also had one hair in the sink and the other hair on the bath mat. Gym is located on the 5th floor, the newer treadmill allows user to select a fun route. We did not park here but the parking is pricey. Note the if you have never been to Seattle, there are a lot of uphills and downhills. This hotel is on the hill, if you walk from the pier and Pike Place, there are a lot of steep uphills along Seneca Street. There are some bus stops nearby, but there are also many homeless people by the bus stops (my advice: buses are not the best public transportation in Seattle for tourists). Overall no complain from my stay; if you don't mind the uphills, I would recommend this hotel. read more

This is a seriously renovated brand new Crown Plaza in the middle of downtown Seattle. The lobby feels nice, cozy and elegant. We booked a suite with spacious living room and amazing view to Space Needle. Great water refills options in lobby (cucumber flavored). Because of our diamond status, we got complimentary breakfast. They have both buffet and menu options in the dining area called Elevation. The meal was fantastic with tons of options like smoke salmon with onion, which is my favorite. The staff was super friendly and even brought me my purse when we left and forgot to take it :p The only negative part of the experience is that the shower drain was very slow in the bathroom. I'm sure it's an easy fix though. read more

Mixed reviews... I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Seattle recently for a conference. Location-wise, it's a short walk to the Convention Center (about 5-minute walk if you cut through the park, though I wouldn't cut through the park at night). Front desk check-in was friendly. I arrived about an hour early (2pm) hoping that early check-in was available. My room wasn't available yet (which is fair, check-in is at 3pm), but I was able to leave my bags and give them my phone number so that they could notify me when the room was ready. Ultimately, the room was basically ready for 3pm check-in (I got a call at 2:50pm). The room was nice overall, but cleaning, particularly in the bathroom, was not thorough. There was already a clump of hair in the bathtub before anyone used it, there was someone else's hair stuck on the "fresh" hanging towel, and there was hair stuck to the shower curtain before use. The water pressure in the shower was also temperamental - it got very weak periodically which was frustrating. While I appreciate management reaching out via text to check how our stay was going (and the same feedback was communicated to them), the issues remained throughout our stay, despite being assured that a more thorough cleaning would be done for the rest of our stay. There was also a lack of attention to detail during the cleaning - one of the shampoo bottles was removed completely instead of refilled, so we had to call for a replacement. Fortunately, they responded quickly to the request. Bathroom cleaning issues aside, the beds were comfortable and the desk was a nice space to get some work done. We had a corner room with a scenic city view, and there was also a mini fridge which was helpful for storing leftovers. At check-out, I was able to leave my bags with them for the day while I did some more touristy things. When I was ready to collect my bags, they brought them out in a jiffy. Positives: Nice hotel with friendly staff. Very nice Space Needle, partial water view from our room on the 29th floor. Walkable to many attractions including Pike's Place Market and the Waterfront. Public transportation nearby. Negatives: Housekeeping did not pay attention to details. I know they work very hard and are probably expected to work as fast as possible. But throughout my stay, I found multiple hairs in my bathroom from previous guests in random places in the bathroom. I would clean it up myself as I found them. I also found an empty liquor bottle tucked behind the towels under the sink. They were inconsistent with refilling my room with amenities. One day in the middle of my stay, they didn't provide the complimentary water. But all the other days they did provide it. Another day they forgot to provide the plastic bag for the ice bucket, so I had to ask for one at the front desk. There are no microwaves in the standard rooms. There is one small microwave in the lobby to use which wasn't always clean. read more

We arrived at the hotel at 12:40AM after our flight got in late. The lobby entrance was securely locked but one press of the doorbell immediately got us 3 helpful gentleman to assist us with our considerable amount of luggage and expedited check in. Our travel agent got us the Olympic Suite on the 34th (top) floor. This was a very spacious area that allowed us to entertain our daughter and her friend who were visiting at the same time. The nighttime views of Seattle were breathtaking. The beds were extremely comfortable. The elevators to our floor were frequent and fast. The hotel is walkably convenient to all that downtown Seattle has to offer and Ubers are easily available to hail. On departure we again received expedited checkout and fast friendly assistance with our luggage prior to departing on our cruise. If you want to get into Seattle a couple days early prior to cruising, I'd highly recommend the Crowne Plaza Downtown Seattle. read more

Camron on the front desk was an absolute babe. She greeted us with knowledge of our Seahawks gear and knew we had to be going to the most epic game ever. She worked her magic and made our stay amazing. My boyfriend is from out of the country and he just eat it all up. We will be staying here in the future just by her demeanor alone. There was a gal later that night after the game. I didn't catch her name but she was gem. So helpful and knew I climbed them hills and directed me water. Ha. Below you will find some helpful information to determine if you would like to stay here: The check-in process is quick and easy however, the cards that are used for your room in the elevator can frequently become deactivated . The fitness center is under construction. There is no air conditioning the water that is in the fitness center is warm. They have provided one mini fan in the fitness center area. That can only be used. On one side of the fitness center. Two of the treadmills are not in service and there's no way to open or close the shades. They offer towels for you and wipes for equipment. This is one of the reasons why I wanted to book this hotel. Apparently it was super hot as the city was experiencing a heat wave. They should've mentioned this part to arrival confirmation page. There is a bar and a restaurant on the second floor and appears to be some business centers for use. Maybe they should have a happy hour. The room is spacious. There is a mattress protector in the bed. Which was a plus. We had a nice view of the city. I hope you enjoy and your stay is better than mine. read more

Very clean and centrally located downtown so you can easily walk to places or grab a ride. We took the light rail from the airport to Symphony. It was an easy way to get around and you don't deal with traffic. Beds are comfortable (I'm picky), and the views were great from where we were. We were not facing the Space Needle. Hotel was clean and quiet. Checking in was very easy. They allowed me to check in early as a room was available. If it wasn't they are okay holding bags without extra charge. The hotel room was clean. There was coffee, tea and 2 bottles of water (for the Keurig) to use. I was quite excited to see Apotheke used as their choice of soaps! You can also request a microwave in your room if available. The A/C was a bit louder than usual. Thought it was a fluke but I mentioned it to the front desk and they did fix it! Got 2 restful nights out of 4. The breakfast buffet was okay. Price was a bit high with minimal options. The potatoes and eggs were good. Would of loved to see bacon in the mix. I did ask if I can take it to go and the person said it's only to dine in. After finishing my meal I did see someone do take away. Disappoint I was told different as I was in a time crunch. Airbnb's are out and hotels are back in! My stay at the Crowne Plaza was THE reminder of how much better hotels can be. Even though this hotel is currently going through some renovations, the service more than makes up for it. I can't really say much about the lobby or decor due to the fact, but the hallways are slightly outdated and a bit musty. The room I stayed in was standard but nice and neat. No complaints on that front! Check-in was quick, easy, and the receptionist was really kind and friendly. There is also valet, but keep in mind that overnight parking is about 60$ (pretty typical coming from Chicago but I can see it being an issue if you're not from a big city). Housekeeping is by request only. This started during the pandemic, and corporate greed is no stranger to hotels. I feel like housekeeping should be included with every stay and not by request or full of by-laws but it sure beats that 100$ cleaning fee at an Airbnb. The location is great! Walking distance to restaurants, light-rail and grocery. Great stay and would definitely stay here next time. read more

First having to pay 65 for parking to stay here is ridiculous, then the security tried coming into our room saying our tv was loud. Never again! Don't feel comfortable! Front desk said if you don't answer they just come in plus we had a do not disturb sign! Like what if someone was naked or Just got out the shower? No microwave in the room either! I have never regretted staying in a hotel as much as I regret staying in Crowne Plaza. In short: hotel staff took an item of ours from our hotel room, and did not return the item or otherwise remedy their error in any way (and instead, they were dismissive, unresponsive, unhelpful, and/or rude - details below). As background: I stayed at Crowne Plaza Seattle (Room #2265) from 9/27 to 10/4/25 while on vacation with my young son. I was charged on 9/30 for $103.36 and I have another charge from Crowne Plaza on my bank statement on 10/4 in the amount of $2,709.79, so in total I paid almost $3K ($2,813.15) for my stay, just to have something irreplaceable taken from us. Details: On 10/2, my son and I left our hotel room for the day, and my son left his baby blanket in the hotel room on the bed. When we returned, our room had been cleaned/bed had been made and the baby blanket was gone. We searched the entire room and tore off the bed sheets and still could not locate it. Unless the hotel gave access to my room to non-staff, it was 100% hotel staff who (whether intentionally or not) took my son's blanket from my hotel room. I know some might think "it's just a blanket" but I really cannot underscore the sentimental value of that blanket, which was passed down by family and which my son slept with every night since a baby and which provides him comfort. It is the only piece of personal property that my son is genuinely attached to. Needless to say, he and my wider family have been very upset since it has been taken, and my son has been having a hard time sleeping without it. And, in any case, no matter what the piece of personal property is, it is absolutely unacceptable for hotel staff to take guests' property of any kind from the guests' hotel rooms. To make matters worse, the hotel's response was disrespectful: they did not care, were dismissive, unresponsive, unhelpful, and/or rude. I called the front desk the day it was taken (10/2) and the receptionist said she could not help me and directed me to housekeeping (206-676-3908). Housekeeping did not answer the phone, so I left a message. The next day, housekeeping did not return my call. Someone by the name Agnesa had texted me from an unknown number (541-203-3504) about my stay on 9/27, so I decided to also text that phone number back on 10/3 and seek assistance. On 10/4, at checkout, I went to the front desk to try to speak with someone in person but no one was there. Since that day, I've continuously reached out, explained over and over the issue, and sought to get the blanket returned. I texted that number several times (speaking with Andrea, Eric, Brian), called housekeeping again, called the hotel front desk (206-464-1980), called "accounts receivable" (206-676-3908) (speaking with Espinita, I believe was her name), called the parent company IHG on their customer service line (877-424-2449), and emailed Director of Operations Shawn Schulze (sschulze@cphotelseattle.com) who told me on the phone in October that he'd contact me in November (which he never did and then he was rude to me after that). I have record of all these texts, calls, and emails. Until this month (2 mos. after it was stolen), I had so much patience and hope. Now the only thing I feel is anger and confusion about how a big-name hotel that makes so much money off guests can take something so important to us and not face any kind of accountability. Whether intentional or not, the hotel caused us harm and refuses to remedy that in any way. One small voice (mine) may not make a difference (and indeed, has not made a difference because I spoke to multiple staff and none seemed to care - see above). But spreading this knowledge and warning others about this may make a difference. I'm also looking into legal options to see if there is any kind of remedy that I can get here--although what I really want is just to get my son's blanket back for him. (I honestly just wish that I never stayed at this hotel in the first place so that my son still had his baby blanket today and I didn't have to deal with all this aftermath, calling various times and being dismissed by the hotel and my son all-the-while still sad and still asking me constantly for updates about his blanket.) [Edit to respond to hotel's Yelp comment] The first genuine apology I received only came after I posted a public review, but I appreciate the hotel's apology nonetheless. However, the hotel has still not taken full accountability nor offered any true remedy or "resolution." Also, I contacted the hotel the same day the blanket was taken and I was not taken seriously. Had I been taken seriously from the beginning, the chances of finding it would have been higher. That it has not been located months later indicates further negligence or misdoings (e.g., tossing our property out as trash) on the hotel's part. read more

Parking situation is a nightmare considering there is construction happening on the same block, and if you miss the parking garage, you will end up in a never ending block of traffic with all the folks trying to get on the highway but other than that, the room was clean, comfortable, and we had great service from a sweet blonde girl at the desk and Ahmed was EVERYTHING amazing! This place is a solid 3 stars. Nothing fancy but not too bad. It's a little dated but the bed was comfortable and the view was pretty epic. The location was also quite good in terms of being in close proximity to most of the must-see areas. The tv programming seemed like it was from the 1990's (not even a TV guide was available) and the TV itself was literally 10+ years old, so the quality was horrible. They offered some form of concierge via text once we got there but when you responded, they sporadically wrote back to answer questions. They have a restaurant on-site but the hours are wrong online and it's hard to reach the restaurant itself. We weren't sure if they had room service and it was so difficult to find any info either way. The shower pressure was laughably strong -- anytime you turned that bad boy on, you were pummeled with water. It wasn't a soothing shower experience. All-in-all, it's an ok place to rest your head at night if you're planning on venturing out a lot but lacks if you're expecting to spend any time at the actual hotel itself. But again - amazing view from the room so I'll give them credit for that! read more

I stayed here in early August for meetings and a convention. Check in staff were friendly and since I arrived very early, were able to hold my luggage and then called me when my room was ready. There was a ton of confusion about billing for the room, and I ended up being charged for the full stay on my credit card despite efforts of the organization I was with to clarify things; I was reimbursed by the organization that was supposed to pay for the first 4 nights but it was an extra step and, fortunately, it wasn't a financial hardship for me to pay and get reimbursed later. Billing confusion aside, the rooms were comfortable and quiet and our meeting room was nice and the food for our meetings was good. Location was good as well, with an easy walk to the waterfront, convention center and other downtown attractions. The fitness center could use some attention; at least one treadmill wasn't working at all and others were only semi-functional. Hopefully this will be part of the ongoing renovation in the hotel. The buttonless elevators take some getting used to but they actually worked well. Heads up that the name of the hotel isn't on the outside at all. When the Uber driver dropped me off, he assured me it was the hotel entrance despite no sign, and he was correct! Hopefully a sign with hotel name is also coming with the renovations. read more

Was there on Thursday. Cam was super helpful and accommodating. Room very nice. Clean. Seems recently renovated. Nice LVP flooring.
