I showed him my current car (which I was selling) and explained exactly how I wanted the leather seats in my new car to look. He personally inspected my vehicle, including the backseat, so there was no confusion about what I wanted. When I got my car back, the back seats were not done the way I had clearly specified. I brought the car back and explained the issue, but instead of addressing it, he argued that the work matched what I had requested. I reiterated that this was not correct--we had provided photos and he had even seen the original seats in person. On top of this the dealership, de Paula did not do anything either. DO NOT RECOMMEND!! DO NOT DO NOT!!!

We chose Coeymans Landing Marina to haul, dismantle, and load the boat for shipping to South Dakota at the end of the trip. We chose Coeymans only because a lot of other online reviews were good and they used to be a big Mainship dealer in the 1990's. We pulled up on a windy Saturday morning. Five people helped us in -- a combination of marina employees and just friendly slipholders. Owners Hedy and Carl were very, very friendly and helpful. We went over the dismantling with Eric the service yard foreman for about half an hour, and then left to fly back to SD -- and they took it from there. Eric was fantastic. Without my even asking, he texted us photos of the work literally every few hours. The props had gotten damaged on the trip and Eric took care of getting them shipped out, reconditioned and rebalanced by a service in Newburgh, and then delivered back to Coeymans just in time to get loaded on the 18-wheeler. They did a fantastic job on prepping the boat for shipping, replaced the aft air conditioning unit because the old one was shot, and loaded that boat so well that everything arrived in South Dakota in good shape after a 1,500 mile road trip -- and all for a very reasonable price. We couldn't be happier with Coeymans, we got lucky.

The fairing was loose, the seat was falling off, it hadn't been inspected for 2 years, did a full tune up and fluid change, and new tires and back breaks. They even detailed it. When I picked it up Erica at the desk was super polite and the owner John came out to go over the bike with Dave the tech. I was elated. What service . When it gets busy, there can be a bit of a line waiting your turn. Even though there are pumps set up for gas tanks on both the driver's and passenger's sides, and arrows suggesting how to enter and exit, you always have those folks who will ignore the arrows and those waiting in line to back into a spot or drive around and come in from the back. Watch out for those folks. I'm docking them 1 star for bad signage. The sign before entering the gas area was definitely out of date. It showed a gas price fifteen cents lower than today's actual price. I'm wondering whether they're short staffed, too lazy to update the sign, or whether they think folks will be more interested in getting gas, then learning the price is higher but will stay anyway. C'mon, everyone coming here is already a BJs customer and knows the price is lower. The do need to remember one other thing... the Costco opening a couple of miles away in 2026 will also sell gas.

--------------------- What Happened:…read more --------------------- Winter storm damage from a falling tree branch (windshield area and frame). --------------------- Their Estimate: --------------------- $3,985.17 (preliminary estimate grand total) Comparable Estimate: $375.00 for "Front Windshield and Frame." --------------------- Bottom Line: --------------------- I would not recommend this shop if you are trying to avoid being overcharged. --------------------- Full Details: --------------------- During a recent winter storm, a tree branch fell onto my vehicle and damaged the windshield area and surrounding frame. I brought my 2009 Chevy Malibu in for an estimate because I wanted the frame addressed, the windshield repaired/replaced as appropriate, and the affected area repainted. J Smitty Automotive provided a preliminary estimate with a Grand Total of $3,985.17. For context, I purchased this vehicle for approximately $6,000, so being quoted nearly $4,000 for the repair was not reasonable to me. What left the interaction with a bad impression was that there was no attempt to recommend a more cost-effective path forward or explain alternatives - only a very high estimate. I then obtained another written estimate elsewhere for the same problem area ("Front Windshield and Frame") totaling $375.00, which I found far more reasonable. To avoid any confusion: the repairs shown in my before - and - after photos were NOT performed by J Smitty Automotive; they were completed by the other shop after I declined this estimate. Based on this experience, I would not recommend proceeding here unless you are comfortable with a risk of significantly inflated pricing.

BEWARE- LUCKY WE ARE ALIVE We had just picked up our boat…read morefrom Alpin Haus in Amsterdam where it was for repair to both engines and propeller as well as winterizing and summering. After such a HUGE repair they didnt test it in the water before giving it back to us. A clean out port "failed" (they cant explain how or why but just know that its "my fault" as the boat owner for not checking it better, their stories change so much I cant keep up ) causing water to shoot into the boat engine gallons per minute sinking both engines and the back end. I WAS WITH JUST MY TWO SMALL CHILDREN and was sure our boat was going to sink. We had to call 911 and be rescued. When the engines stopped, the water stopped shooting in so fast and we were able to hand pump and use bilge enough to stop sinking until rescue came. Now besides the traumatic experience we also have burned seats from there flairs, two destroyed engines and tons of damage to the clean out port area. Now Alpin Haus has zero accountability and denies that their men could have anything to do with it sinking immediately after picking it up from them. THEY DID NOT PUT THE CLEAN OUT PORT IN PROPERLY. I spoke to Ron Craig (3rd highest guy) about it to try to resolve it and he kicked me and my small children out of Alpin Haus and told me to get a lawyer. I went above him and sent a message to the president and owner asking them to call me to discuss what happened. Looks like the owner won't get involved at all and president Andy Heck won't call me but wrote an email to to say he backs up his men and also refuses to answer any of my questions just repeats they are not responsible because I should have checked better. Alpin Haus negligence and lack of accountability has me so worried they are going to cause something similar for another family and the outcome might not be as good as ours. BEWARE AND SAVE YOUR FAMILY from the headache or worse.

We walked in and a gentleman walked from the other end of the store seemingly towards us, but he never acknowledged us and he walked right past into an office area. Okay.... So we walk to the other end of the store where an employee comes from the back parts area and we ask him if someone was available to talk UTVs. He said "so-so does sales he's over there" (gestures to where we were and where the gentleman we now know is the sales person ignored us). Keep in mind we are the ONLY people in the store. So we walk over towards the sales desk and nothing.... No one came out. We waited. Finally we left. I can only assume since we were 2 women, not looking like bike riders, that we were dismissed.... Either way I will never return, and will tell anyone who will listen to go somewhere, ANYWHERE, else. You guys totally lost a sale (and a big one since the UTV I want is electric and costs significantly more).

As I walked in to look at the Scouts on the floor, the sales man came up to me. He informed me of the deference between the Scout and the Chief. I left that day and pondered my decision. Months later I returned to buy my New 2022 Indian Chief. I returned and they had just had a 2022 Indian Chief arrive. I sat on it and all questions were answered. The weight and balance were surprisingly easy to adopt to. Everything the bike had to offer I was informed of. I than sat down and put my deposit down and ordered the Chief. Throughout the order of the bike, numerous calls were made to Wild Horse, all were returned with answers, Upon arrival they called me, and a pickup date was set. The options were put on and money saved with a $500.00 Veterans offer from Indian. Were installed. Upon arriving there I went to the back of the floor where my Ruby Smoke Chief was being wiped down. Papper work was done and there was NO differance on the agreed price. The hands-on briefing of the bike was done. Complete with a safety check list. This was not rushed and took some time, but well worth it. As the controls were unifilar to me. Next came my first ride on my New Chief at 28 degrees. It was the Greatest 5 Miles of my life! Once back , they all came out to to load the bike in the trailer, offering tips. Once home I rode it in the Living Room and Decorating it for Christmas, of course.
