We did our installation in 2022 and have seen our energy bills lower than ever before! (We have some shade on our roof so we didn't do the full roof, ~20 panels or so, but it worked out well.) They did the rebate work with the city so our out-of-pocket cost wasn't exorbitant at all. Our household also recently purchased a second electric vehicle so we contacted 512 Solar again, this time for a level 2 charger installation. Once again, 512 Solar was excellent at getting our quote together, suggesting two hardwired chargers that the city does rebates on, and actually getting the work done as well. We have to do the final step with submitting the rebate paperwork to the city, I believe, but that's small beans compared to all the work that JP and Huiyun did for us at the outset. Really happy we went with these folks and will continue to recommend their business!

THE OLD - From March 1 to March 22, 2022, with only the original 17 panels you installed in 2017,…read morethe system produced approximately 25 KWH per day.   Over the last 3 years, the approximate average has been that, 25 KWH per day. The original system has been producing about 20-25% less then what we consume per day, on average. Over time we have been under producing by about 10 KWH per day.  Without the additional 4 panels, the system never produced more than 35 KWH per day. With the additional panels, we're hoping that our average daily production will increase from 25 to 35 KWH per day.  That's our target. THE NEW - With the additional 4 panels installed on March 22, 2022, in the last 2 days, March 23,24, we are producing over 40 KWH per day already, which is over the target we were expecting. We know that we will have some low producing days and the average will go down. If the average production per day settles at around the target of 35 KWH, we will be very happy with our investment. I thought that…read moreinstalling a ductless split system would be optimal, due to my subpar duct and vent setup, but Colley Co was able to do enough duct and vent improvements/expansions, quickly and at reasonable cost, to "save" my nice upstairs ducted system. They also did a great job insulating my attic - passed Austin Energy inspection on the 1st try - and relocating my condensers from the side yard to the backyard. The new 3-ton Daikin recommended by Alan for our downstairs has worked great so far - much quieter and cooler than our old system. Alan is highly responsive, both by phone and email, which is not always common in this industry. He and his team address any concerns or criticisms immediately and thoroughly.

Colley Co. replaced my old dilapidated and failing AC unit with a brand new top of the line Daikin…read morebeast of an AC. Both Alan and Ricky were both very helpful, informative and definitely had my best interests at heart. Alan did not try to sell me any additional products that I did not need. He suggested an additional return air vent to help my system's air flow. This solved the problem my house was having not cooling the downstairs effectively. And Alan solved this problem without trying to sell me a $3300 zone damper system. Another company tried to sell me on that zone damper system. They did not get my business. Alan and Ricky both had some great ideas on how to make my system run more efficiently. They suggested I seal up some gaps in my air vents and make sure that there are no gaps in my attic insulation. I always have lots of questions about this kind of stuff and they patiently and honestly answered every question I had. The actual installation went efficiently and without incident. I was only without air conditioning for about 3 hours. Ricky and a helper got the system in, explained a few things about how the new unit worked and got my new thermostat up and running. They got rid of the old ac, furnace and the old condenser. They did a wonderful job cleaning up after themselves. I did not have to pick up a single piece of trash or anything after they were all done. I think the hallway they were working in was actually cleaner after they had finished up. Give these guys a try. They are awesome. They are honest and will take care of you for a very reasonable amount of money. They will also take the time to explain what they are doing and why they are doing it. Thank you Alan and Ricky.
