    Crispy Octopus

Tonight was our 2nd time eating at Crudo and once again everything was amazing. We started with the crispy octopus which was flavorful and tender. It was recommended to us by the server and another couple we ended up talking to seated next to us, and it was truly a fantastic recommendation. My husband had the Wagyu steak which was better than any local steakhouse in the area and I had the Lobster Roll which was sweet, tender, and juicy. The service was impeccable and Crudo offers a quant, quiet atmosphere. If you haven't been, you are missing out on the best restaurant Bluffton has to offer.

We sat at the bar and were greeted warmly. Good drinks. Recommend the caviar slider on a Hawaiian bun. The sweet and salty flavor was great. The salmon crudo was generously served complimentary. Definitely would return for dinner.

Food is amazing. Fantastic chefs. Rabbit & Dumplings are ridiculously good. Raw bar is fresh. Bourbon selection is great for the south. Jackson the bartender is top notch.

We were driving thru this charming town on our way from Hilton Head to Savannah. We decided to stay for lunch, and boy were we ever glad we did! We loved EVERYTHING about this restaurant from the incredibly fresh and flavorful food (not to mention the exquisite presentation - what a chef! He even came out to check on us, too - Chef CJ) to the welcoming, friendly and professional staff. On top of that, loved the vibe of the place. We enjoyed it so much, we changed our plans, called our son and had him come meet us back at Crudo for dinner. He, too, thought it was phenomenal and will be returning (I'm sure frequently) with his roommates. We live on the west coast, but KNOW we will be back next time we are visiting our son. Standouts were Chef CJ, Jacinda, Michelle, and we happened to meet the owner, Brian, who was fantastic, too.

This place is amazing, where could I begin? The atmosphere is fantastic, the food is the best I've ever had at any restaurant in the area! The staff is also super friendly and informative, the craft cocktails here are also incredible!

You can spend $300 on a dress or everything on the menu including a generous tip and dessert! Food you CANNOT REPLICATE OR ATTEMPT TO MAKE AT HOME. A favorite feature of mine. And service that is worth a Gold star for bringing it to the next level. We love eating upstairs but downstairs is just as nice! I'm hoping they will always be here because this is our favorite! Best chicken I have ever had... to this day. And I NEVER order chicken because it's usually dry, not at The Farm. We also LOVE THEIR MOCKTAILS! Best way to feats and have the best experience in Bluffton!

From the moment we walked in, every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The hostess graciously worked us in, even though they were not expecting us. When I asked if we could move outside because we had an infant with us and didn't want to disturb other diners, the manager couldn't have been kinder or more accommodating. He moved our table without hesitation and made us feel like it was a pleasure--not an inconvenience. Our server, Andreas, was absolutely exceptional. His attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care elevated an already wonderful meal. By the time we left, we felt like family. The food was incredible from start to finish, but the baked ricotta appetizer deserves a special mention--I would come back just for that! Thank you to Andreas and the entire team at Joelle for your outstanding hospitality! Experiences like this are rare, and you have earned customers for life.

A little too salty for our tastes and too many bacon bits in both dishes. We probably should've asked them to hold or reduce. He also ordered the Pig and Fig appetizer. Not 100% sure, but the appeared to be dried rather than fresh. Ambiance was not great. Inside seemed very loud so we opted for an outdoor table. Thankfully the weather was nice other than a few flies. However, this restaurant is on a busy road in what I would describe as a small office building with a few storefronts. Tables are close to the road and parking lot. Service was good: very friendly and helpful. Also an ample wine list especially Italian wines, plus the Wednesday we were there featured 25% off on bottles.

Of course, we made a quick U-turn thinking we had stumbled onto the perfect dinner spot. As soon as we pulled into the yard, the atmosphere immediately caught our attention. It felt like one big family gathering--a warm, loving community where everyone knew each other. The homes with their large wraparound porches gave me serious Tyler Perry movie vibes, like the kind of place where everyone gathers on the porch to laugh, eat, and soak up wisdom from the elders. We decided on Chef B's for dinner. Although reservations are required on Fridays and Saturdays, they were kind enough to seat us after about a 15-minute wait. As we looked around, there were still several empty tables, so we appreciated them accommodating us. We were greeted by a beautiful young chocolate hostess whose melanin was absolutely glowing. She was friendly, answered our questions about the menu, and made us feel welcome. We started with the fried okra, which was served with a béarnaise sauce. We also requested a side of ranch. Unfortunately, the appetizer was just okay. Neither the béarnaise nor the ranch complemented the okra, and both sauces missed the mark. For cocktails, we ordered the signature Rum Punch and the Juneteenth drink. Both were enjoyable, but I was confused by the Rum Punch. It was completely clear, even though the menu listed it as being made with dark rum. For our entrées, we ordered the Crab Fries, Shrimp & Grits, and Fried Oysters. The Crab Fries were described as blue crab, snow crab meat, garlic, Boursin cheese, and smoked cheddar. Unfortunately, the topping looked more like burnt cheese crumbs or scraps than a rich, cheesy crab topping. It wasn't visually appealing and didn't deliver the flavor we expected. The Shrimp & Grits were the biggest disappointment of the night. The shrimp themselves were fine, but the grits were incredibly thin and watery, with little to no seasoning. They lacked the rich, creamy texture and flavor that make shrimp and grits such a Southern favorite. The Fried Oysters also fell flat. They were under-seasoned, and the accompanying coleslaw was simply not enjoyable. Overall, the atmosphere was the highlight of our visit. The setting felt welcoming, authentic, and full of community, and the staff was pleasant. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the charm of the location. We left wishing the meals had matched the incredible first impression the property made.
