We stopped here on a whim while heading to Rainier and quickly realized we came a across a hidden gem. To begin, the service was super friendly. We were helped out super quickly and they were so patient. They also had a lot of different food options. I tried the burger and it was solid, but I think what really stood out was the tater tots. Those were the best tots I've had in a while. Their pricing is also really good. The restaurant also has a really cool and unique vibe. For parking we found street parking right outside.

After spending the morning climbing the mountain, a friend and I decided to stop here for a bite to eat. We arrived around 2pm on a Saturday and we were seated right away when we walked in. The Cafe is small and quaint, with approximately 10 tables or so. Our serve was kind and patient throughout the entire experience. I ordered The Coach burger and the Tomato Tortellini Soup; both items were made to perfection. Their crinkle cut fries are the best and their house made ranch is very good. I can't wait to return again. Cheers!

Love this place so much - nice little hole in the wall with great portions and service. I loved the outdoor seating and we got our food very fast. The staff was so kind and gave us extra mozzarella sticks too!

Do like hometown places? Well this is for you. This is a local place offering awesome breakfast and lunch offerings. The service is friendly and welcoming. The place is decorated with local High School pictures and just makes it more homey. The portions are good and the menu has great selections. It's not a big place so get there early and have an awesome meal.

We were in Ashford for the weekend for our anniversary and on our way home we were looking for somewhere good to eat so we looked up reviews and thought we'd try Cruisers. We came in and they have a little gift shop with candles, cups, and wax melts that are all made locally, which we love to be able to support someone local. The cups are tumbler type cups and some that are like mason jars. Great way to support a local business and get some good food. We had Andrew has our Waiter and he was kind, kept checking on us, was quick to get us anything we needed, and did a great job. We got the school burger and Ruben sandwich, both were great. We had a huckleberry and a banana shake to go with our meal and enjoyed everything. We will for sure come back and try some other yummy food.

Well, I took my daughter and sisters to NW trek today for a visit and we stopped at the trek cafe for a pretzel with cheese and a hot dog, man am I regretting it awfully. I'm currently sick to my stomach and I'm not sure if it's from the hot dog or pretzel but when I had breakfast at home this morning, I definitely was not puking my brains out and constantly running to the bathroom to go #2. Just be cautious when getting food, the hot dog didn't look or smell weird but this is the only other food I ate today and I had a 2-3 hour gap in between my meals so that's why it makes me think it's from the food from here. Staff was kind and patient with my very indecisive brother and sister though.

This cafe inside the Northwest Trek animal park is a good alternative to packing your own lunch…read more(which you can do; there's a big heated picnic shelter and lots of individual picnic tables). The prices are really good, the food is acceptably good, and the people working at the cafe do their best to make it a pleasant experience. It's cafeteria style with limited choices, but at least they're not ripping you off to make a huge profit. The cafe's hours vary seasonally; check the website. They do catering for groups of 20 or more with 15 days' notice. They have an extensive indoor menu: http://www.nwtrek.org/files/library/ad65a1631e8aad84.pdf and a pretty big all-you-can-eat outdoor menu: http://www.nwtrek.org/files/library/0762cf2ace93f4c4.pdf The catering menu's prices are considerably higher than the everyday prices in the cafe, and the menu is dramatically different, so I'm pretty sure the local teenagers aren't doubling as the caterer's staff. :-) Here's a sampling of some of the items and prices: Cheeseburger - $3.50 Grilled Chicken Sandwich $4.25 Hot dog $2.25 Fish and chips $5.25 Pizza $4.25 Fries $2.25 Cold cut sandwiches $5.25 Chef Salad $5.25 Ice cream treats $1.25 and up Hot chocolate $2.00 Soda $1.65, $2, or $3 (plastic souvenir cups for the smallest and largest sizes, and free refills while you're in the cafe) Bottled water $2

Rambling Jacks Rib Eye - Our Always-Stop Spot on the Way to Seattle…read more We stopped in for a late breakfast on our drive to Seattle and, as usual, it did not disappoint. My husband ordered the cinnamon roll French toast and I went with the Ranch Hand scramble. We split both (highly recommend doing this if you can't decide), and the portions were so generous that more than half of my scramble came home with us. What's impressive is that with portions this big, you'd expect something to give on quality -- but not here. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere is part of what keeps us coming back. The restaurant has that cozy, rustic charm and there's a cute little gift shop up front that's impossible to walk past without browsing. This time we grabbed some Valentine's white chocolates to take on the road -- such a fun touch. This has become one of our must-stop traditions to and from Seattle, and it's consistently worth it every single time.
