There was no one ahead of use either. I ordered the "Bleu Cheese Burger". The Bleu Cheese" was just salad dressing. The burger itself was "Meh". My wife had the Chicken Wings. First off if you walk away hungry then it's your own damn fault. Went here with my parents after a visit to Northwest Trek. My parents got burgers, mom had to take half of it home and dad finished his burger but had to take the fries. Said the fries were some of the better fries they have had. I, myself, ordered the classic supreme pizza and damn there was a lot on that pie. Plenty of sauce and the toppings were actually put on before the cheese. So it's like the cheese was used to seal over the toppings and I loved it. I usually judge a pizza by how much clean up there is after eating and I was cleaning after every bite. It's the typical pub or dive bar setting, the atmosphere step down was it felt a little cramped and the jukebox was defaulting to heavy metal and hard rock which wasn't quite enjoyable. Definitely if you are in Eatonville or on your way to Mt Rainier you would not be wasting time or money visiting this place. Service was fantastic. The place really filled up after we entered and she was doing it all by herself out front. Bravo!!! read more

Stopped in honestly because the place we planned wasn't open yet. Saw good reviews for here so we went in. Noticed there was a covered patio in back w/people. The front bar area was small with just one of the 4 big tables in use yet the bar counter mostly filled with/ about 6 people. We grabbed a table and looked around. Nobody greeted us, hubby saw a menu laying on another table and grabbed it. Hubby used the bathroom came back still no one came over or said anything. We were well ready for a beer now a good 5-7 mins there. We looked over the OVER priced menu hesitant to even eat there. $8 for frozen tater tots!! $18 for burgers, nearly $30 for pizza in a dive bar really?? I'd much rather eat in a nice place with great service than subject ourselves to this lack luster place with poor service and pricy food. Not sure how it got decent Yelp rating. I have no issues eating in a rustic very casual bar etc but when you feel neglected and then you see the crazy menu prices, it just doesn't make sense. Steven and I were in Eatonville and after still being fairly hungry from the last place we went to(We got tapas style dishes and weren't aware of that prior) I had to have something more substantial. So after looking around on Yelp for a place that was open just a bit later than most I came across the Pour House and saw that they served food. This nice little bar in downtown was great! It's definitely a local watering hole for some but the staff were great and very friendly! They have a good sized tap list of craft beers which I liked to see. For food I ordered a cheeseburger with fries and Steve and I shared it. The burger was very tasty as well as the fries and was perfect to feel like I was getting a more substantial meal. Absolutely no issues and complaints here at all and though my trips to Eatonville are infrequent I will keep the Pour House in mind when I am back to get another tasty burger with fries! read more

If you're gonna charge $15 to $20 for a burger and fries, you can spend a little more and not have a Costco bulk-quality frozen pattie. Don't be put off by the rough exterior. Simple little place in a small town. But they have a nice IPA on tap as well as a hard cider. And the food, although just simple bar food, was good. Realised we weren't going to get to Longmire before the restaurant closed, so we stopped here on the way in based on the reviews. Couldn't find hours, so I called ahead from Puyallup to make sure it was open. I'm so glad we held out instead of grabbing some fast food!! The tap selection was small but solid with a couple popular American macros, Mac & Jack's amber, and a few from Georgetown brewing - the porter and Lucille IPA. My husband and I both opted for the elk burgers and we were not disappointed. They're so juicy delicious. My bun lost structural integrity about 1/3 of the way in, but I managed to save it and it was totally worth the mess. The fries were also perfectly cooked with just the right amount of seasoning. To top it off, the bartender and regulars were super friendly, too. We don't live close, but we have passes to NW Trek, so we'll definitely be coming back!! read more

This was, by far, one of the worst experiences i've ever had. While the first woman to help us was fantastic - she was blond and i missed her name - the brunette bartender was rude, dismissive and actually resulted in me leaving a nearly full beer. So we took the Mt.Rainier Scenic Railroad ride today. We took a chance stop here in Eatonville for a quick beverage and some food. It's so quiet in town' it was sort of like walking into a ghost town, and ghost establishment. We were the only guests but the place was a delight. Nice shellacked big log picnic tables for the guests, a nice stand up bar and the regular counter bar for patrons. Very clean, and very charming. The bartender/waiter/friendly neighbor type fellow who helped us was so wonderfully friendly for a very dead place patron wise. He shared the woes of this tiny town and how hard hit it has been for the folks here, and the story of the proprietor of the establishment next door who took his life due to the shattered ecnomy we were told. But back to our friendly fellow. He made our day and I thnk we made his. He took our orders, saved us a few bucks when he brought pitchers rather than glasses and cooked us up some good food. Have we had better, yea definitely but this time the food wasn't what sold us, it was the fellow in charge. and I wish we'd gotten his name. It was though we had dropped into his hosue for dinner.
