I was really excited to try this shop, and I was pretty disappointed. While the service was friendly and fast, the sandwich (Cali turkey on French) was...well, sad. There was the thinnest layer of turkey with a slice of provolone melted on top. There was plenty of onions and spinach, and very little pesto mayo and avocado. Plus, they have açai bowls, which were supremely delicious! A few tables inside and outside. I ordered the tuna sub, which is the reason for the two stars. The tuna salad was dry, like who skimps out on mayo in a tuna salad. There were chunks of celery in the salad which I enjoy the flavor of but they couldve chopped it a bit smaller to blend it together instead the two textures don't mix. I was honestly very excited for the sandwich as soon as I walked in and smelt all the smells but was completely upset. If it wasn't cause I was starving I wouldn't have eaten the first half. So I definitely didn't eat the second half. Complete let down and was very hyped up by a few people. The staff were wonderful and the cookies were good but stop being stingy on the mayo!! read more

I typically recommend this place, but the last few weeks I've become disappointed. I've been coming here since they've opened and I always get the chicken salad with extra raspberry vinaigrette sauce. However, the last 3 times I've gone in to order my sandwich.. I pay for the extra sauce but seem to receive my sandwich with less than normal raspberry vinaigrette sauce. My sandwich used to be pink/red because they would actually put in extra sauce... I can barely even see any sauce on my sandwich now. Why am I paying for extra sauce and then get to work to realize they didn't give me what I paid for. So for now, my review is absolutely dissatisfied I'm hoping they can fix this I've reiterated to the cashiers before paying for the sandwich that it's supposed to have extra sauce... still hasn't done me any good. read more

I found this little hidden gem mainly because I use Yelp in my travels. They have a very high rating that is well deserved. All sandwiches seem to be just under $10. I don't think you can even get that pricing at Subway any longer. I ordered the Meatball sub to go and it was really awesome! Great taste, huge meatballs! Too much sandwich for one sitting, so I made a few meals out of it. Place seemed pretty crowded for 2pm, so judging from that they seem popular. Definitely the place to get a sub. Did a pretty long hike in the freezing cold 21 degree weather out at Fish Creeks Fall after a big snowday. After hiking for a good 4 hours, I wanted something warm and this place seemed like it was a favorite sub/sandwich shop by the locals. Snagged pickup here today, but we've been dropping in for years when in the Boat. The food has been consistently delicious. I don't eat a lot of bread, and ergo also usually choose the salad over the handheld, but I make exceptions for the toasted English muffin bread at Cruisers. Today said bread surrounded the fluffy egg patty (sound weird but tastes great), perfectly ripe-on-the-firm/side avocado, pesto, added bacon (!), veggies, and light-as-I-requested cheese of the Morningside. Of course I snagged a bite of the spouse's footlong Italian, which was awesome, but didn't get to try the teenager's half club because she inhaled it. Note to parents - the cookies are immense - probably six inches in diameter, so if ordering online for kiddos, be aware. I'm not complaining. The teen loves them.
