I like cookies and although I am not new to eating Crumbl cookies, but this was my first time visiting the location. So I arrived before 5 pm and there wasn't a line. I knew they change the kinds of cookies they offered but was trying to get an understanding of what to order and how it worked. There were ALOT of workers and no one spoke or greeted me. One person was busy working I think was the drive thru orders, but one young girl seemed hesitant to help or maybe tired not sure. I usually am a chocolate chip person but wanted to try something else. I asked for opinions and chose the Cookie Butter one which I surprisedly liked and much better then the chocolate chip. It had the perfect smooth buttery taste but not too sweet. So that is one I would recommend. My rating is based on the customer service and lack of providing it with so many workers there. I wasn't told about the rewards system I just kind of figured it out. The self service option maybe cool for some people but I still believe in great customer service ESPECIALLY when I am spending almost $4 for a single cookie, in which I bought more than one. Absolutely delicious. I'm glad I don't live closer or this would be a problem. The cookies are massive (which is great since they're $4.50 each). Every time I've come here the service has been adequate but I think they are working on being better as today I was greeted enthusiastically by two employees. If you got a sweet tooth and you're looking for a dope spot in Alpharetta to check out, this is it! If you decide to try it out, here's a few things you should know: - it is a small location. It's an outside sitting area in case you want to eat there, but no chairs inside. - they sale cookies as singles, 4-packs, 6 pack, and a party pack (12 count). Don't eat with your eyes! If it's just you, one cookie should be more than enough for one setting. The cookies are so huge my wife and I got one each ( the classic sugar & the honeycomb) and split it them down the middle so we could share with one another. You'll definitely be gone off a sugar high after one full cookie. - the prices are up there, so just be prepared! It's almost $5 a cookie, yet it's made fresh and is about the size of a fist almost ( if fist were flat ), so I guess the price is worth it. - also, be aware that because the cookies are made with fresh ingredients, sometimes the cookie you get my be overly potent. With the honeycomb cookie, it was delicious but i could taste a lot of the salt used to make the cookie, so it threw me off a bit. If you're new to Utah-based Crumbl, I suggest visiting at a less busy time so you can get an orientation and assistance ordering. A really helpful employee did this for me which was really nice of her. Basically you order and pay on a tablet, and someone will swiftly bring out your cookies in a box with the lid up so you can confirm that everything's correct before heading out. It's fun how Crumbl has four different cookies each week; the Milk Chocolate Chip and Chilled Sugar are always available. The stores are not operating Sundays but they conveniently open at 8 AM and close late. Curbside pickup is currently offered. I don't believe there were any public restrooms available. Each cookie is $3.48, and a box of four ($10.48) will save you some money at $2.62 per cookie. Crumbl's cookies are on the substantial size, roughly 4.5" in diameter. I weighed a box of four cookies, and it tipped the scales at about 1.75 pounds. Most of the cookies are served warm but I admittedly prefer them at room temperature since a superb, solid-but-gooey consistency has developed. - Cinnamon Swirl: A novel offering with all the beloved cinnamon roll trappings (cinnamon brown sugar topping, cream cheese frosting). The sugar cookie base is a little delicate, but what a delightful dessert. - Mom's Recipe: "A warm oatmeal cookie packed with semi sweet chocolate, toffee and peanut butter chips. Topped with a sprinkle of sea salt." Has a lot going on and each component adds something to the overall cookie. Recommended. - Chocolate Cake: Imagine a brownie in cookie form. Chocolate cookie studded with semi-sweet chocolate chips and chocolate frosting. Oh so heavenly! - Milk Chocolate Chip: Probably my least favorite since I don't really like milk chocolate chips. How have I not been to Crumbl?! I found this location on Yelp and headed there after lunch one day. There are weekly special cookies, and are switched up every Monday. I love their promo videos on Instagram, and I was lured in by the strawberry pop-tart. Because I didn't know I needed a strawberry pop-tart in sugar cookie form until now. And of course, go big or go home. They don't offer mini cookies, unfortunately, so I got 4 full size cookies to go. I tried the sugar cookie, the chocolate chip, the strawberry poptart and the pumpkin Oreo cheesecake. The sugar cookie was a bit sweet for me, but definitely a classic. The chocolate chip was pretty good, but I LOVED the strawberry poptart - because, it literally tasted like a strawberry poptart. The pumpkin Oreo cheesecake was heavy but the flavors was so freaking good, and I'm not even a huge fan of pumpkin. I watch the videos on Instagram on a regular basis and I have to physically stop myself from indulging every week. This place is AMAZING, but it's not as good as the Marietta location. I visited the Marietta store first and later came to this Alpharetta location. One difference is that the team members do not always greet you when you walk in like Marietta. Their cookies are a little pricey ($3.50+), but it's an enormous, warm cookie. This reminds me of my childhood when we would eat a chocolate chip cookie fresh out of the oven. Besides the regular cookie flavors, such as chocolate chip, they offer 100 different kinds of cookies, and they introduce 4 new ones every week. I now know that I can find out about their new weekly cookies by following them on Facebook. Since my first visit, I have tried a number of different cookies here. My favorites are snickerdoodle, oatmeal chocolate chip, red velvet, iced oatmeal, carrot cake, lemon poppyseed, and the traditional chocolate chip. Their snickerdoodle cookie is actually the very best I've ever had. My only complaint about this location is that the trash can right outside of their door is always full and overflowing with trash, most of which is from their store. I completely understand that this is probably a shared trash can within the shopping center, but it makes the store look bad to have trash on the sidewalk right outside of your door. read more

Baking news, there's a new cookie shop in town! And by new, I mean a few months new. Crumbl Cookies is a national chain. I first heard about them in July when my sister brought me three of their amazing cookies: dulce de leche, peanut butter chocolate chip, and chilled samoa. These cookies were huge and DIVINE. It was love at first bite! I loved them so much I had to get more. Fortunately for me, the store is only about 15 minutes way from me. I stopped by on a Friday afternoon. Plenty of parking in the shopping center. The shop is small, bright, and super adorable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This time, I got the dulce de leche and chilled samoa again and added chocolate chip and chilled sugar. Wow! They don't make a single bad cookie. My favorite has to be the dulce de leche, followed closely by chilled samoa and chilled sugar. The cookies are $3.48 each, 4 for $10.98, and 12 for $27.48. Worth every penny. This place is located at the very end of a shopping center with plenty of parking and pretty easy to get to! As I walked in, there was social distancing signs, sanitizer, it was very clean, and all the employees wore a mask as well. They greeted me, and someone came up to me to explain their new kiosk --no person contact--ordering system. I like the idea and able to just touch the keypad and order. The pictures and navigation is very easy but they are there also if you need help! They have a display that shows the cookies for that week they are selling (they switch every week, about 4 different flavors change out.. 2 stay the same. Chocolate chip and sugar cookie with pink icing) The person who helped me was so friendly and as soon as I ordered, they got right on it and it was ready in a matter of 1 minute. Crumbl is a national chain based out of Utah, and this location is their first one in Georgia. It's on Old Milton Parkway in the same strip mall as Pepperoni's Tavern (and about a mile away from cookie competitor Tiff's Treats). Crumbl sells only very large cookies, which is a trend that was popularized by New York's Levain Bakery. Crumbl makes a large variety of flavors, but they offer 6 specific flavors per week. They have an app which is very easy to use, and gives you a curbside pickup option. The most popular pick will be the 4 pack of cookies, which comes in a nice large box which is ideal for the office or as a gift. A 4-pack comes in just under $11 and would comfortably feed 6-8 people. We had the brownie cookie (with peanut butter), chocolate chip, Nutella sea salt, and confetti (for the kids). I thought I would like the Nutella the best, but found that it didn't have as much Nutella filling as I would have liked. The chocolate chip was terrific though, and the brownie cookie was excellent as well. I didn't try the confetti but the kids loved it. The cookies are served warm which is always an added treat. The other nice thing is that their website offers allergen details for each cookie, as well as calorie counts (if you dare). We are looking forward to trying other flavors in the future. read more

So this is a cookie catering company which is pretty awesome. They have a number of locations in the NE Atl area. This was my first time trying them. Website: On their site, they offer 4 special flavors each week while offering classics every week. The classics are chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and a couple other classic cookies we all know. The site had nice graphics and use of flash. It was also very user friendly and easy to order. They also do offer a ton of flavor, but you have to hang around long enough for your flavors to come up into rotation, if you don't care for what is being offered that week. Prices: Pricing was pretty good. The 4 inch cookie in the pics cost just under $2 a piece. They also offer a mini which is just under $1 a piece and is about half the size (per the site). Delivery was $10 dollars. So depending on what you are ordering...you have to consider that. The bill for the 4 cookies pictures was just under $27. This also included a $2 water. So is 10 bucks worth paying for 4 cookies? You have to decide. The cookies: Ok let's get down to business! So prior to tasting these cookies today, I heard alot of hype on how good previous cookies were. Each of the cookies pictured are pretty consistent in the type or texture of the cookie. They were all relatively dense, but still moist. If you are someone that like crunchy or firm cookies, these weren't it. All 4 of the cookie flavors well relatively calm. There was none of the cookies that provided a burst of flavor specific to what the cookie was named. I will say that you will have the same consistent flavor through the cookie. You can tell that there is some intentionality on trying to focus on a specific flavor, not it kinda fell flat to me. So let's go thru each one: -Oreo: the cookie portion didn't have a fair attempt to mimick the chocolate oreo part of the original cookie. So that was nice. The icing was an attempt on the creme of the top. It was fine. -Waffle: as eating this one, there was an aftertaste of like a batter but did not give me waffle taste at all. The butter look in the pic, was actually the frosting we spread across it. The frosting was nice and not too crazy in flavor. The syrup was a nice mild syrup versus your store brand pancake syrup. -Animal Cracker: this one was nice in that I appreciated the subtle tastes of crystallized sugar that you would find one a classic animal frost cracker. But again, left me with a bit of a batter like aftertaste. -Blueberry Crumble: this last one was the most pronounced flavor to me because of the blueberry in it. Overall: Because of all of the hype, I totally would try it again. Sometimes companies hit, and sometimes they miss. I was not impressed with this week's selection, but I would try again if someone ordered them. I believe there are some elements in the creativity and ingredients in the cookies. I am not the biggest fan of soft dense cookies, so for me...I wouldn't intentionally go out of my way to go there. I would tell someone else to give it a go. read more
