Go here instead of Starbucks! They have delicious coffee and tea drinks and doughnuts. They even have gluten free donuts! The people that work there are friendly and efficient. There's a little seating inside and more outside in the shade. This place is in the middle of Avalon, next to Cafe Intermezzo.

Five Daughters Donuts are next level! I have never had such a decadent donut that melts in your mouth! I travel for work and when in the area stay at The Hotel At Avalon and cannot wait to walk down to Five Daughters to try the new seasonal donut flavor! You cannot go wrong with any flavor! I LOVE these 100 layer donuts and wish they would open in Las Vegas!

I love the light and airy type of doughnuts so this is right up my alley! I had the blueberry lavender and loved every bite! The inside had a jam filling which was a nice treat! To drink I had an iced chai which was yummy! The drink did take a while but all in all worth the wait for a yummy breakfast!

Stumbled upon this doughnut shop while shopping at the Avalon. Employee was friendly and gave me the spill about the shop. I ordered the lemon box, vanilla cream and purist. The doughnuts are a bit pricey but they are good. I think it is worth a visit if you are in the area. This location has plenty of seating outdoors in the Avalon. Small inside but aesthetically pleasing.

It was closer to 7 and they were almost sold out of everything. We decided to support and got one of everything. Let me tell you why I rated them 3 stars: Ambiance: beautiful aesthetic and clean. Service: very good and super sweet Food: not my favorite. Felt somewhat stale and the bacon donut was way too sweet for me. Overall it's overhyped. I don't know if I'd come here again. Maybe only for the mini glazed original.

Exceptional! That's the first word that came to mind. The shop is adorable, the chocolate sea salt donut was AMAZING, and the service was top notch! We can't wait to go back and try more donuts!

Amazing donuts! It's like a cronut donut with melt in your mouth deliciousness! Don't sleep on Five Daughters Bakery. It is worth every calorie and every penny. The service was friendly and there is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy yourself.

Pricey but different donuts. The server was polite and quick with service. The store was very open with windows allowing sunlight through. The selections all looked great so it was hard to pick from.

It's been years since my last visit, so I was thrilled to find out they've opened a location at Avalon! The aesthetics are perfect! I couldn't resist stopping by to see if the experience still lived up to my fond memories. As always, there were so many options to choose from--it's hard to go wrong with their selection. While I love trying new flavors, I stuck with my go-to favorite, and it did not disappoint. The donuts were just as delicious as I remembered, fresh and perfectly made. The staff was incredibly pleasant, adding to the overall positive experience. And with the wide variety of donuts available, there's truly something for everyone. If you haven't stopped by yet, do yourself a favor and check it out today! You won't regret it. #ashsaidit

This Tennessee based bakery is finally here in Alpharetta !! They have their staple flavour hundred layer doughnuts , their monthly specials , gluten free options, and paleo monthly flavours . ( something for everyone) I tried their The Purist and the vanilla cream from the STAPLE FLAVOURS THE BLUEBERRY LAVENDER and the BROWNIE BATTER And all of them were so good.. Hop on over to Avalon and grab this yumminess today .

Coffee was reasonably priced and tasty.

The service, the donuts, the coffee-- INCREDIBLE. The ladies inside were so kind, patient, and helpful. The donuts were unique, and delicious (I'm from the donut capital of the country and these donuts may have topped any I've had before). Go here!!!

It says bakery but it's really a doughnut shop?? I came in hoping it was an actual bakery, but as soon as you walk-in you're met with a display for both normal and mini doughnuts. We weren't going to but it was a new place in the Avalon and thought we'd try. I got the Vanilla buttercream doughnut which was awful. It had no taste and it was just fried bread with tasteless buttercream on top but also an unfortunate surprise in the middle of more tasteless buttercream. At the time, I had a mini chocolate sprinkle doughnut which was just "ok". Nothing wild about it and a bit dry. My partner got an apple fritter, which he mentioned was just thick and also just "ok". We also got a cappuccino and matcha latter both with almond milk. We were not impressed despite it seeming to be a family owned business. The staff was very friendly though and is suspect the owner/manager was there too, who was cool. I'm sad this is the turnout. :(

I'm so excited about Five Daughters being at Avalon! This adorable donut shop has lots of options and delicious coffee. The whole place is really cute. I was thrilled to see they have a variety of gluten free donuts and cookies. I got the chocolate frosted one and an iced americano and it was great. The donut was chewy and sweet. The americano was smooth, not bitter at all. The employees seem new to their jobs (understandable, it just opened!) but were helpful with questions I had about the menu.

We used to go to Ponce to eat these donuts. So glad they have opened a branch in Alpharetta. Their gluten free donuts are equally delicious

Unfortunately I have no idea the names of the flavors, but they were WARM & BEAUTIFUL!! Most of us cut pcs off b/c none of us need a whole one, lol. Some folks said they didn't love the texture- compared them to Duncan Donuts, but I can tell you they were really only comparable to 1 Duncan donut, but for the life of me I have NO idea what it's called. The one I tried wasn't cake, nor was it melt-soft like Krispy. It has a sort of fried chew that, to me, is just what I love! Not sweet either. A nice balance of fried, chew, sweet & the glaze was a nice flavor. I will crave this, which is why I looked them up right away & snapped pics to remind me where to go. I also think it's smart to put the individual donuts on the liners so glazes don't mess up the box. Very pretty!! Try them out-

Guys, $5 for a splash of milk is a bit, um, excessive imo . They said the kids milk went away with a new menu, maybe you guys just forgot to put it back on. Blooms is our favorite donut shop no matter how much the milk costs, though! Everyone should try them.

We visited Atlanta for the weekend and looking for a local place to grab some breakfast on the go…read more We searched breakfast joints nearby and Sara Donuts came up with great reviews. The donut shop is a quaint size but has a great variety of breakfast goodies for every palate to enjoy. They offer standard donuts (glazed, frosted with sprinkles, powdered), special donuts (cake donuts, apple fritters, cinnamon rolls, and eclairs), and savory rolls (sausages in bread or croissant rolls). My favorite feature is their ability to fill donuts upon request: they have machines with various fillings that they can fill donuts ask they pack them. The dough stays fluffy and not damp from the filling. The donuts were all delicious. They were fluffy and light, not overly sweet. I enjoyed the savory rolls, but it's best to microwave them for a few seconds to soften the bread. I wish we had a small business donut shop as amazing as Sara Donuts in Florida, but I'll definitely be back to visit the next time I'm in the Duluth area.

She was outgoing, engaging, new one to serve us, and went to walk by when we were talking. Extremely emotionally, intelligent, and one of the nicest people I've ever met. Warm greeting, friendly, incredibly efficient and didn't mind answering my questions at all. (complimentary but we love to tip for great efficient service right guys?) Immediately upon entry i was warmly greeted by Vicky and Destiny. I'd already decided on bar seating and they were more than happy to show me the way to get settled. The bar was a fantastic choice, Avery, Cam and Alex crushed it! From maintaining the flow of the restaurants beverages to their lone bar guest with lots of questions (me lol), they handled everything to perfection while giving stellar recommendations. Their menu knowledge both beverage and bar is impressive. Kudos in that regard for sure. My goodness, i should've gotten the chefs name because every single bite was impeccable. The buratta bruschetta and tagliatelle are unlike any I've had before anywhere else! By the time i was stuffed full i still had leftovers which they graciously boxed for me, i wasn't leaving it at all lol. Kudos to the beverage director as well, the spring cocktails are on the money! I tried the Collette Spritz, Tramanto Sour and Old Corpse reviver. Of the 3, the spritz is surprisingly my favorite. I'm not a beer gal and sometimes don't enjoy Aperol but every ingredient blended well. Try it, trust me, Avery and Cam, those were some of their suggestions! The manager Leo is very kind and personable, i appreciate the brief convo we had. Miss Destiny, You're knocking it out of the park! From the flow of the restaurant, to the ambiance, to staff engagement, to plain ole convo and customer service i have ZERO complaints and overflowing compliments. I wish i had more names because i to drop, Tristan and one other male server that came by the bar were also very kind. I will definitely be making the drive back out!
