I am a non-profit 501c3. I do a lot of special things for people as far as parties and gatherings. Recently, I ordered from Crumbl in Mason - a very large order for an event! When got ready to serve the cookies I found a very long dark hair baked into the cookie. The next day I called Crumbl and politely explained to the manager about the cookie and how worried I was that someone else may find a hair. And how the hairy cookie/cookies tainted my event. I asked for some kind of compensation, gift card.... Something of an "I'm sorry on their end". The store manager said I'd have to speak to the district manager because she couldn't do anything for me. I called the next day (when the district manager was supposed to be in). I was told she was out and to call back. I called back a couple hours later and the district manager was supposedly still out. I then left my number as suggested by the store manager. She said she would text the district manager to call me. It's been over a week and I've had this "hairy cookie" in my purse to drop it by the store as proof. The cookie now really is "crumbled" . Idk what's happening at the Mason Crumbl. But I'd suggest visiting another store or perhaps finding another place for specialty treats for your guests!! It saddens me! A close friend of mine ordered 3 dozen cookies for a ministry event; one of the cookies had a very long dark hair baked into the cookie, dangling from top to bottom of cookie. It was quite a feat to try to get through to the Mason store, let alone speak with a manager. After several attempts, we finally were able to speak with Cheyenne who described herself as the GM. Being a small business owner, myself, I have to say I was taken back by her response. She offered a measly free 4-pack of cookies. Our ministry is a very frequent customer of the Mason location. Cheyenne didn't seem to care. When I asked if that was the best she could do, she hesitated and after several minutes of saying "it was just a hair in one cookie", she reluctantly said she can offer 6 free cookies. I asked what the cost to the local store is to bake 6 cookies...I was told $30. Hmmm. Anyway, keep your 6 cookies Crumbl (in Mason). You just lost our monthly business. $4.90 for the best chocolate chip cookie?! Umm, yes. I'm normally the gal who 100% looks for a deal, but I have no problem paying almost 5 bucks for the most delicious chocolate chip cookie. In fact, I have searched Cincinnati high and low for the best chocolate chip cookie... and hands down, this is it. Okay, is it a little pricey? Probably. But is it worth it? Uh-huh. When you walk in, it feels like a boutique. It's all bright colors, and there is an area where you can place your order or wait to be called upon if you placed an order in advance. Before you leave with your cookie or literally cookies-- you are showed what is in the box...and gee, that box is heavy! The chocolate chip cookie I got was definitely still warm. It's one of those things that I don't mind paying a little bit more for, especially if I plan to nibble on it as a treat or (even!) eat it in one sitting. This is definitely not something I would do on a normal basis, but if I am in mood for a treat, I would check this place out. It also makes a great gift! In fact, I heard about this boutique version of cookies, because one of my students brought these in as a treat for us teachers. What a cool gift! PS: They now have a location in the heart of Deerfield Towne Center. This business is closed on Sundays, but they release on Sunday the cookies they will be featuring during the week, as the cookies they bake rotate. I was really pleasantly surprised with my experience here. I am very picky with cookies and their flavors/textures, so I was not sure if I would be a fan or not. I felt compelled to try due to all the hype. I was able to order ahead online so as to skip the line at the store. It still takes a few minutes when you arrive as they are preparing them fresh to be nice and warm! I was instantly greeted upon entry and all the staff was friendly and helpful. I was in and out very quick! If you arent familiar, they change flavors weekly. I got Triple berry cobbler, S'mores, and dulce de leche. To be honest I came for the smores because I love anything with that flavor. Every single cookie was divine. They are very soft and chewy which is how I prefer my cookies. I've tried Crumbl probably 10 or 12 times by buying their cookies for my team and their hype is just not worth it. Find a local bakery that specializes in cookies or at least dedicates any kind of time to them and you'll walk away happier and with more money in your wallet. Two partially baked bland cookies for $9.47?! My wife and I tried CC for the first time at around 2pm on a sunny fall Wednesday afternoon based on the large number of rave reviews - and my daughter said she liked them as well. The first thing that caught my attention when we walked in the door was the large number of employees making cookies. Also, everything associated with cookie making was in sight, which was good. After looking over this week's selection of cookies, we both chose the Milk Chocolate Chip Cookie. I knew they were expensive, but I was shocked at them being nearly $5 per cookie. The cookies were roughly 4 inches in diameter and about 3/4" to 1" thick with larger than normal chocolate chips. Since we only bought two, they each came in their own box - and they were warm. Mmmm. We could barely wait to get home to try them. We dug in as soon as we got home, and there was major disappointment with the first bite. First off, the inside of each cookie was more like warm cookie dough rather than baked cookie. (I don't like unbaked cookie dough.) Second, there was not much flavor to the dough. Third - and I knew this going in - chocolate chip cookies should be made with semi-sweet chips, not milk chocolate chips, but I thought CC would prove me wrong. Unfortunately, I was right. The milk chocolate chips added very little flavor to an already bland cookie. I've had better chocolate chip cookies at other bakeries for less money, but I have never had any that were this bland. Obviously this brand has become SUPER popular over the past few years - and there is definitely good reason for it! There is a curated selection to pick from and you place your order at the front. The cookies come in a beautiful pink box so it is definitely a great little gift to give if you're visiting someone's home! I got the red velvet, milk chocolate chip, cookies and cream, and sugar cookie. I am a big sugar cookie person but I think I actually preferred the chocolate chip here. Be mindful that these are very large cookies so you may need fewer than you think. I would say one serving is half a cookie at the most. They lean on the softer side and the inside is almost more like cookie dough than a fully baked cookie so if you're not a chewy cookie person - this isn't the place for you. read more

Quite possibly the worst customer service ever. I entered the Mason, Ohio store on Saturday July 13, 2024. The cashier was busy flirting with a young man who didn't appear to be buying anything. I waited for her to finish her conversation to be helped, but was never greeted or acknowledged. When this gentleman left, she walked away from the counter and began a conversation with a co-worker in the back of the store. When a new customer entered she returned to the register, but they needed a minute to view the menu. At this point, I asked her if she intended to acknowledge me and see while I was standing at her counter. She seemed offended that I expected her to do her job and provide basic customer service. I told her that I was there to pickup an online order of 2 dozen cookies. She replied that someone else was taking care of it and walked away.
