To understand how good the coffee cake was you have to grasp the carrot cake, which was filled with a cream cheese center surrounded by fresh warm carrot cake. Full of flavor, moist on the inside and structurally sound on the outside. The carrot cake was almost as good as the coffee cake, but there has to be a winner and a loser, unfortunately today the carrot cake came in a close second.
