Summer's Farm is a huge place and perfect for kids to go to during the fall/ Halloween time. They…read morealso have the sunflower festival in which you can catch the tractor/ hay ride to cut out some flowers. I don't particularly like this area because it's always so many bees and also slim picking depending on when you go. Beyond that they have several activities for kids to do and you could stay for hours with different photo ops, the petting zoo, the big bounce area, the zip line, tug of war, the goat race and many more. They even have fireworks on select nights. The place is pretty big and we can never finish everything in one day because it's a lot of walking lol. Nevertheless it's well worth the money , customer service is good, and it is a lot to do. I would recommend taking better care of the petting zoo because it really wasn't kept as well as I would've liked it to be. Side note: There was an incident in which an elderly woman fell while I was there. I would like to commend the staff for how much care and support they gave her to make sure she was OK.

That was quite generous! Parking was easy and plentiful. Included in the freebies was six pick your own blooms from their sunflower field or zinnia patch. The farm is filled with activities for kids to explore such as jumping pillows, mega slides, rope mazes, and flying pig zip lines to names a few. There are other things adults can partake in such as the corn maze (short and long paths), corn hole, and of course the wagon ride to the pumpkin patch (not ready when we were there) and the sunflower fields. We didn't eat, but there's a barnyard grill, pizza, kettle corn and apple cider donuts for sale. We missed the scheduled pig races. It was a fun day in the sun.

So the common market has always been a huge staple for me and I really appreciate the variety of vegan and gluten free options they have every time I visit home. I've never really gone to the location in 7th street, but I decided yesterday morning to grab a bite to eat and order a drink. I never really anticipated a bad experience, and it wasn't all that terrible, however, the clerk completely forgot to make my breakfast wrap and there was a lady that ordered 10 mins after me that got her food before me. I was already half way through my drink and I was shocked. The clerk even looked at me and said "oh sorry I forgot about your wrap it's coming out soon". To top it all off I ended up getting sick when I ate half of it, and I feel like the only reason the wrap made me sick to my stomach was because the young man was rushing to get my order out. Not a very good first time experience at this location, and it's sad to say this will be my last time here because the last thing I need is food poisoning. Other than that, the cashiers were helpful and friendly and the store was nice and clean.

There isn't a large farm or storefront to greet you, just turn off the main road and drive the road to park and start pickin'. I love that the people are friendly, that they provided buckets (although you can bring your own), and they don't try to price-gauge you for every little thing. We picked some strawberries and sugar snap peas, both smaller than what you would be used to at the grocery stores, but packed with so much delicious flavor! The girls had an absolute blast going through the fields, even trying to squeeze in a taste (we had to hawk-eye watch them). I loved feeling like we were supporting a local business, but also what farms should be and what I grew up with (We didn't have to make a reservation, we didn't have to pay for each person, we just paid for what we picked) It's not a huge operation, but it did the job for us. Thank you Glade Link, we'll be back! *Call them first before going (their voicemail has all the details) *Porta potty

Their bouquets of fresh flowers were what attracted us and as the photos show, the quality is great, the variety delightful. I easily made two full vases from the $20 bouquet. I will make a beeline for their booth at future farmers markets. :-) very pleasant and knowledgeable staff and happy to take credit cards.
