HOWEVER, I was placed on hold immediately for an extended period of time until a reminder ring went through and she came on and asked me to hold again- for another really really long time. Then basically each question that I had regarding prices required her to place me on hold again and again repeatedly (without exaggeration) and these were NOT short wait times. I am unsure if she was very unknowledgeable, did not have a "fee schedule" handy, or simply used my "search for answers" as excuses to place me on hold again and again in order to perhaps tend to something else or take other calls which apparently came in droves if so? I wish I had a better first contact experience with their office because I really liked their website, they are an older company, apparently, and have the online ratings to show some happy people. Location is close to us as well. I like that they have boarding but there are no images of the feline boarding online nor any mention of it at all, actually- just dogs. To be fair AGAIN, I do like that after I was forced to hang up (since she ultimately never came back to me on the phone) that I had the option of texting a different number from their website. I know that isn't saying much. I would have booked an initial appointment online (they do have an online booking option*) however I was eliminated* from that chance by one of their many many reasons* why I couldn't. I am not sure what type of appointment anyone would actually need which could be booked online after reading that list*. I do wish that they offered baths for the animals. Well, at least she stated that they do not offer flea baths which is one thing that my girl needs. So, I don't know. I got off the phone unsure if they DO offer baths, just not flea baths?? Then I need the well-check, then the dental, then the boarding. They still haven't written me back even after I have taken the last 60+ minutes to input a whole litany of their information into my phone including this "review" draft. Hopefully I can find a great vet in this town. And now that I have finished proof reading my review, I realize that with all of the different things that we need to get done with this veterinarian- well-check, vaccines, testing, flea treatment purchase, dental exam, dental cleaning, boarding..... I am not sure that I can take this much time out of my days just because my cat needs a thing here and there. I have until December to get this done. I don't need this place THAT MUCH. I literally am questioning whether or not I was asking too much, though? All I did was read their website, get lured in, jot down the questions that the website didn't answer (not a mention of a single fee). I just wanted to ask what the costs were for the things we need. Hold please. Hold please. Hold please. You know what??? I literally think they want you to go in there with your furry baby and hand it over so that they can come back with a whole novel series of "medical attention" that the animal "needs" and then the animal parent likely sits their feeling like a failure of an animal parent since their furry baby "needs" so much. Like, I am not buying it. I asked what the cost of the flea treatment was since they did not offer flea baths and... WOW... now that I think about it... this is the beginning of some things I am just not down for, I know it... it's coming back to me now... the woman told me that in order to purchase the flea treatment, the animal needs to OFFICIALLY BE SEEN BY THE VETERINARIAN IN AN OFFICE VISIT FIRST. Hmmm... is this standard? Maybe, maybe not. But for some reason I am guessing that I could walk in many other veterinarian offices world wide and walk out with flea treatment without paying their $64 office visit fee. Nope. Another example: I asked how much a dental exam / dental cleaning would be and I WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR SEVERAL MINUTES of course, then she came back on and literally told me that there isn't just one price for those things and that actually THE VETERINARIAN USES THEIR DISCRETION ON WHAT TO CHARGE. See?? I would be aware. I personally think I am going to seek out a more straight forward, smaller, less main-stream overly hyped veterinarian's office to take my baby to. She doesn't like complicated exhausting things.

I brought home my new German Shepard two days ago from Alabama Canine. He is AWESOME and…read moreunbelievably well trained!!! I haven't had a dog in over 20 years...and I was nervous...puppies are cute but I knew I needed a dog with a strong foundation in obedience; I wouldn't be very good at housebreaking, keeping off of furniture, chewing, running away with the leash -- and all of those "cute" things that puppies do. After literally years of talking about it, I took a chance and trusted the judgment and skill of Emily Richardson at Alabama Canine. She suggested a puppy with just the right temperament, and then that puppy stayed with her for board and train for a few months. My cuz and I picked him up last Sunday, and then started the 4 day, almost 1800 mile drive home to Las Vegas. He was PERFECT! He spent all day in SUV in his crate, entertaining himself better than most adults on such a long drive. No whining, no barking, no accidents, nothing. He had his deer antler and his squeaky toy....and he really was perfect. Each night at the hotel he always let us know he had to go outside to do his biz. Even though he is still a puppy, and everyday was something new with brand new people, he was always happy and loving -- he LOVES people! We got home two days ago, and he has settled in as if he's lived in Vegas his whole life :-). I asked Emily to train him for the pool in addition to his obedience training....and he is swimming laps! We all have so much fun just watching him chase his ball in the water. But most importantly....Emily spent the time on pick-up day going thru his training with me, wrote down all I needed to know about transferring his training to me, and off we went. Now that we are home, we practice his training every day, and he is so much better behaved than I ever hoped for. Took to his doggie door immediately for the outside biz. Finally, I want to say that Emily texted (is that a word?) me pictures, updates and little videos of his training almost every day -- and it really may have been every single day. Shouldn't there be measures in place to prevent employees from doing the? In December my Wife went in and she was literally laughed at my a Tractor Supply employee stating she would NEVER get one as they are taking them and they are not allowed to order them (This is a Lied) !!! I meet the Manager at the first on January who ordered me 20 and gave me a rain check and said they would be in, in about a week, this did not happen. 10 days later and no phone call, I called them and got a rude lady and accused me of being ugly to her and hung up on me. I called manager back next day and was told the following Monday two trucks were due and it would be on truck. Never received a call! I called back on Tuesday and spoke too another employee stated they did not arrive. I do not know whats going on with Tractor Supply but other places throughout the USA get them on a regular basis and now they are offered in multiple colors. So, is it this store or are the employees running her store or what? Manager stated she hasnt received these items a world wide trend since before Christmas but she hasnt seemed to be bothered enough to find out why, employees are still running around lieing to customers and she, her self is not fulling her promises she made. Tractor Supply itself doesn't even have a valid way to report issues via customer service and this is why I am writing this!!! Facts are this, Do Not expect to get a Mini Bucket from Northport or Tuscaloosa, Alabama Tractor Supply as the Employees take them preventing customers from getting them: FACT! * * I am curious what measures Manager has taken to investigate to find out what, if any investigation took place as every employee is going to deny it, but if they have images up on their socials or they have any at home, they are caught and should provide proof of purchase; Fact! You know they get employee discount so their should be a record of any transaction, right?
