Finally got over to this place and it was awesome. I went with both the Gouda and the Royale. The burgers are perfectly cooked and the flavor is out of this world. The Gouda had a red onion jam that had a hint of French onion soup. The flavor combo worked really well and I absolutely loved it. I did get bacon on the Royale and I'm going to go back and try without the bacon. It was good and all but the burger itself is just so good. Pickled jalapeños were a perfect level of heat. This place is the real deal. Definitely the best burger I've had in a while. read more

I first heard about this place through a friend who follows them on social media. I'm really happy they've finally found a permanent location instead of operating as a pop up. It's also great to see that they're now serving fries instead of just a bag of chips. The location is a bit unusual since it appears they're sharing the space with another business. If you're just driving by, you probably wouldn't realize they serve food because there's no sign outside advertising it. I ordered the Royale burger. Compared to the first time I had it at Mikerphone Brewing, the burger seemed to have changed in both appearance and taste. Back then, the beef patty was thicker, juicier, and the bun was perfectly toasted. This time, the burger was a smash-style patty with a nice crust, but it was a bit dry, and the bun wasn't toasted as well as I remembered. On the bright side, the fries were excellent, and the garlic aioli paired perfectly with them. I'd definitely come back because I know how good their burgers can be. I'm just hoping they can get back to the quality I experienced the first time. I'm not sure what changed; whether it was a new cooking style or a different chef, but I know they're capable of making an outstanding burger. read more

Absolutely delicious burgers and fries. The Gouda burger is particularly good. They do a flight of sauces on the fry flight that are so good. The ratio is a bit off though as you get much more sauces then fries to dip in them. Overall really worth a visit. The menu is not extensive but everything is exceptional. read more

This spot is inside the Emerald Isle. I give this a 3.8. Definitely not in my top ten smashburger. I saw how Super Goodie and others on Instagram ranked it very high. I didn't have the same experience. Bottom of the patty had no crust. Seemed dry and the top of the burger looked promising but it was just lacking flavor, like no seasoning was on it. Had the "Plain" Jane with sauce on the side and had to add some sauce to give it flavor. The cheese was almost none existent and didn't add the usual creamy flavor. Got a side of their house-made pickles for $1.50 and enjoyed them. Fries also didn't have any seasoning, but the aioli sauce helped. Definitely not worth the $6. I ordered online and ate in my car on this beautiful day, so hard to rate service, but definitely were friendly. read more

Located inside of the Emerald Isle Bar hides one of the best smash burgers we had had the pleasure of devouring. Crispy edges all around and the flavor alone of just the burger itself is enough to keep me coming back. It's not Brennan's in case you are wondering, it's in the Irish Isle bar in case you find yourself driving around for 10 minutes looking for the place. There's no wait staff. Good luck getting a table. Some idiot thought opening up a restaurant in an already existing establishment was a good idea. We've been sitting here for 15 minutes and no one has walked up to us. I went to the bar and two people who weren't even doing anything just ignored me. Not sure if I'm going to get to orders some food because it's really not a food establishment. Apparently, if you want hamburgers they have a house burger and a plain burger, that's it. This was such an annoying experience I just left. I don't think they realize how stupid they are. read more

Every ingredient tasted so fresh and it's clear the quality of their ingredients is excellent. We got the fries and curds and both were amazing. I love that they offer so many dipping sauces! Not entirely sure why this place hasn't found a home for the pop-up experience..yet! I love walking up and seeing a female working behind the grill, give me great pleasure to see a female leading the crew of men. I got a burger ordered for 1230 and while I had to wait a little bit, it was very nice to watch my burgers getting smashed and topped with cheese then seeing the bacon added to my specific burger. There's no secret here she uses Devon Avenue meat (DAM) and the burger is made so you can see how they prepare it with the already cooked onions which were nice and deeply caramelized andand the sauce as well. Maybe just a suggestion for next time: put a sign out where you get your meat from. and if you get any local vegetables or pickles. The pickles were perfect but I wonder if they are made from scratch? I'm pretty sure even simple advertising from someone like me, or others coming there to socially engage other people with your business might allow for businesses to want to get on board your amazing burger train.
