This ruins the integrity of the espresso and waters down the entire drink. My sister was unable to finish her drink because it was gross. Another drink was forgotten entirely and was only made after we repeated what it was three times. The employee at the register eventually pulled up our order on the iPad and read it back, confirming that we had ordered everything correctly. The whole interaction felt awkward, and the person working the register was passive aggressive. I will say that the person making the coffee was friendly and quickly made the forgotten drink once they realized what happened. I've worked in specialty coffee for five years, so I understand that you don't have to be happy or overly friendly all the time when working in customer service. But people often go out for coffee as a small treat, to fill a craving, or as a pick-me-up on a bad day. A welcoming interaction makes a difference, and unfortunately, the service here left more of an impression on me than the coffee or the space did.
