Great little spot on the boardwalk between 13th and 14th street. My girlfriend and I were walking by one day and decided to stop in, and boy am I glad that we did. Small shop with little seating but that is completely fine because they food they serve is very easily eaten on the go or perfect to take home. Tried a few of their rice bowls which contain rice, noodles, veggies, your choice of meat topping and even a dumpling and sauce all included in the bowl. Great fresh taste and very filling. And their wings, man their wings. Amazing flavor, great crunch and texture, and you can choose from spicy and mild for each of their offered flavors. While I have yet to check out the place itself, I have gotten take out (someone else picked it up) twice from Crunchik'n without dissapointment! I've not tried their wings, popcorn chicken, rice bowls (chicken AND pork), tacos, and dumplings (spinach & kale). I can honestly say I enjoyed each of them. Never too greasy or soggy. Meats were all cooked well enough. The portions are a good size. The rice bowls were a newer concept to me, which is nice to have on the boardwalk. Fantastic flavors overall. Cannot go wrong with this place. I hope to try the entire menu by the end of next summer. read more

If I could give half stars I would have picked 4.5. We ordered 5 chicken wings with honey soy glaze, 5 pork dumplings, and one spicy tuna taco. Tuna taco was the star item and I think a good deal at $5.50. The dumplings were fine but not worth the $6. The wings were SUPER CRISPY and delicious but at close to $7 a little over priced. But it's the boardwalk and I shouldn't be expecting deals! Sadly, they were out of Crunch Balls but we'll hit up their Philly location to try them. Tl;dr eat here. read more

After the only sushi restaurant closed 4 years ago on the Ocean City boardwalk, there was really a limited choice of healthy food choices. Enter Crunchik'n. We found it by accident as it is near southern-most end of the boardwalk. I would give them 10 stars if I could: staff were all extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered the veggie rice bowl, kimchi, and a bubble tea. Best I have had this side of the Pacific. Price beyond reasonable for attention to detail and quality of food. Even better than what is available in Mitsuwa Marketplace in Edgewater NJ. I wish these folks all the best. They have earned it. read more

Averages $8-10 per person for dinner. Rice bowls were preferred, especially the salmon one. The popcorn chicken was good but nothing to brag about. First and probably last time here as there is little options for me but food was tasty. I ordered the vegetarian rice bowl w/no dumplings. It had a nice flavor and the udon (sweet potato) noodles were very good. If anyone's on or near the ocean city boardwalk their vegetarian rice bowl can be made vegan and is on the healthier spectrum. It's hard to find good and non-junk food on the boardwalk, so I was so happy to find this little place. The place only has few metal tables and chairs but they offer variety of Korean food from rice bowl, sweet potato stir fry noodles, dumplings, to sweet ginger fried chicken. We ordered spicy tuna rice bowl (lettuce, clear noodles, 1 dumpling, a scoop of spicy tuna, guacamole, thinly sliced cucumber over white rice) and stir fry beef w. Sweet potato noodles. The rice bowl was refreshing and portion perfectly for lunch $11, the stir fried noodle was smaller portion but still tasty $8. Rice bowl is the way to go as you get a little taste of the clear noodle included on the rice. We also tried the fried chicken and fried dumpling as they were handing out samples on the boardwalk. They are pretty good. If you haven't tried "bubble tea", these are flavored sweet drinks with penny-size tapioca on the bottom. You drink it with a large straw and chew on the tapioca as you drink. They actually make it pretty good here, so if you never try it, this is a good place to have them. You can also add mango jelly/lychee jelly in the drink for $1 extra. While we were here, we tried the coffee bubble tea, taro bubble tea, and mango bubble tea. All are very yummy. This would definitely be my recommend place on the boardwalk. read more

Unfortunately, our group of 9 are unable to post a review about how delicious the food was or how wonderful the service was. We placed a very large order (15 items, beverages not included) using the Yelp Crunchik'n link and chose the delivery option. At 626pm I received confirmation my order was accepted. ETA for delivery was 30-50 minutes. At 70 minutes I contacted grub hub to ensure the driver was not lost. She informed me the order was late as the restaurant was busy and asked if I still wanted my order as it would arrive between 746 and 819pm at the latest. I advised yes we are all starving and why not wait a few more minutes. Made sense vs starting the process at another restaurant. I received a text message and email from grub hub confirming the delivery time by 746 and that they spoke with Crunchik'n to confirm. If true both parties were aware of the delay and had a chance to fix the issue. At 756pm I received text email that our order was canceled. We have 5 young kids and 4 very hungry adults now scrambling for another option. The majority of restaurants around us close at 8 and we're not accepting orders since we only had 3 minutes to try and find dinner for 9. It all worked out. Ran on foot to a place close to where we were located and another place saved the day. They were very happy to have our large order. This place seems good. It's line is always packed and reviews are strong. If you are looking for delivery. Please use caution. This was a large order and the restaurant never reached out even after canceling and hour and a half after the order was confirmed. Management must be overwhelmed by the walk in business and do not have the time to properly manage delivery orders. Why offer it if you can't manage it? Customers-I do not recommend using their delivery service as you and your group could be left waiting and hungry. read more

Being that I work in the heart of Philadelphia's China Town, I am a connoisseur...obviously. Pffft. Well, I could not be happier that I was wrong. This little hole in the wall place is a gem on the boardwalk. Definitely get the popcorn chicken with honey soy sauce. It's perfectly crunchy and not the least bit dry. The French fries are a bit random, but they were still delicious. The "made to order" concept clearly works and everything tasted fresh and delicious. And to top it off, it's a family owned joint! Yelp brought me here and I wasnt disappointed. This place is a little take out spot on the southern tip of the boardwalk, just a short walk from nearby parking. The people working at the counter were really friendly, even when being bothered by weird customers (I'm guessing the customer in questions probably drunk, he was super cringy, but the workers held their own with a smile). They were happy to answer any questions about the menu, which was great because I didn't know what everything was. I enjoyed my spicy tuna bowl, the kimchi fried were amazing, and indeed their chicken is VERY crunchy - everyone expects fried chicken to be crunchy but this was a next level crunchy/juicy/flavorful ratio. I'm disappointed in myself for living so far away because I want to try everything on their menu. If you've never had bubble tea before, I highly recommend it! read more
