Maybe my favourite place to eat in Amarillo. The charcuterie trays are brilliant: the items full-flavoured and fresh, the presentation gorgeous, everything just as it should be. The options for the trays change with the season and are always perfect. The wine menu is extensive for the area and has something for all levels and palettes of wine drinkers. The food has steadily improved since first being introduced a few years back. I've seen some very smart fish tacos come out of their kitchen. Also, their appetizers are (as far as I've seen) are executed well. The brunch they do on weekends is superb, and they sell Stiegl Raddlers (grapefruit soda beer, essentially) and it pairs Wonderfully with brunch, the same way mimosas do. Also, they have at least one very very dry, crisp, sharp champagne option which is SO HARD to find, as many places only stock sweet, tangy options. Love love love them for this alone, not to mention the one million other things they do right. Varied tap beer menu, which I don't care much about. I had a chocolate lager once at the recommendation of a waitress and it was a dream, however. Very impressed. read more

Evening menu has been revamped since I was there in November. Sandwiches are gone and the selection of small plates has been refined. Also, there is the addition of what I would call a tasting menu, unusual for Amarillo. These items can be taken individually or as a "prix fixe" meal in either three or five courses. All the items were good. I suspect lunch still has the sandwiches. Service, casual upscale atmosphere, food and wine, along with the low noise level still make this a go to place for friendly get togethers. If I lived closer I would be a regular on one of the bar stools even when alone. read more

I really like this place and it's probably even my favorite downtown bar. I do prefer wine and beer so it doesn't bother me that they don't have any liquor. Crush probably has the most extensive beer and wine list in town and I've found some of my personal favorites here including microbrews and wines from my hometown area. Brunch is pretty yummy as well. Expect the normal brunch fare including: Belgian Waffle, Eggs Benedict, Mimosas, etc. I prefer to get there a little bit toward the end of the brunch service after the family movie time is over. MAJOR KUDOS for not allowing smoking. This is definitely one of the reasons I keep coming back. I hope everyone else follows suit sometime in the near future. read more

I visit Amarillo only for business and Crush has been my saving grace since they've opened and every time I'm here!!!! Wine selection is out of this world! The food here is very well thought out. They have a little bit of EVERYTHING which amazes me when I look at their one-page menu!!!! Tonight I had the Pear Cranberry Salad and BBQ Chicken Flatbread. I was a bit disappointed in the Pear Cranberry Salad, but only because some of the salad was wilted and old which ended up ruining the rest of my field of greens (sad). HOWEVER, the Flatbread and management (and wine) made up for it!!! John (GM) came to my table, offered me another option, took said salad off my check and apologized!!!!! This was a nice lunch spot in downtown Amarillo. I had lunch here twice and the Jalapeño Turkey sandwich and the BLTA (Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado) sandwich were both excellent. My friends had the Cobb Salad and really enjoyed it. There is a long bar that seats about 12-15 stools and about 10 craft beers on tap. The beer selection was impressive. The bar area seems to fill up with a good happy hour crowd around 5pm. It's good to see a little bit of Hipster in Amarillo. read more

I love this place. It's the perfect weekend brunch spot or serves as a great "pre-game" place before heading to Butler's martini bar. They are the only place in town that serve my favorite wine and the service is always great! They have a small brunch menu that changes seasonally, but it always has great options. I would recommend getting their hummus (ask for the hummus of the day), breakfast burrito, watermelon arugula salad, or meat/cheese platters. Superb brunch! A recent snowy Saturday led a large group of friends for a late brunch at Crush. We all had an excellent time. The mimosas are awesome and a great value at only $5! The menu is extensive. Tapas, sandwiches soups etc. I had a turkey jalapeno cornbread sandwich which was beyond delicious. Others had smoke salmon, phillies and the like all to rave reviews. I have only had desserts and wine at dinner (great wine selection) so can't account for the dinner menu but assume excellent. Crush is an excellent downtown establishment! Must visit! read more

This place is a MUST visit! The only thing better than the FANTASTIC quality of food (I got the bacon wrapped steak...aMAZING) is the kindness of the staff! I always thought this place was just a wine bar, but I was wrong. The menu has a lot of unique items that all sound really good. They are a bit on the pricey side (over $10 per entree), but the quality and uniqueness of the food are worth it. To start off, the water is really good. I don't really know where or how they get their water, but it doesn't taste like hard water at all. I can't remember the name of the pizza I ordered, but it has blueberry sauce, arugula, and duck confit. Interesting combination, but the pizza was SO good that even though I intended on saving some for later, I ate the whole pizza. The blueberry sauce tastes a little bit by barbeque sauce, so don't be scared to try it! The service was a bit slow. We had to wait a while to order, get our food, AND get the check. Nevertheless, I would definitely go back to try some of their other menu items! read more

We had a delightful evening! We were here to visit Palo Duro canyon. Read the reviews on Yelp. Love this place. We had drinks on the roof top patio with live music! Then had dinner downstairs. I had the steamed mussels and my husband had the chicken and pasta. Outstanding! Salads were fresh and good, too! All of the staff were very friendly and attentive. The owner even stopped by to check on us. This was a great experience, I'm only sad that we live so far away and can't come more often. read more

Visiting my son at Tech and after a long day at Palo Duro we stopped here...what a nice place, cold beer and great food, would go back in a second. Wanted to update this...so a little more than a year later the wife and I are back in Amarillo this past week(4-25-17)and have been telling her how great this place was and was looking forward to eating here again..well we were not disappointed!. Wow, amazingly bad service and a manager with an attitude! Seated by the staff at 7:50, and noticed "happy hour" from 4-8. Service was incredibly slow for one appetizer and 2 salads, with the salads not being served until 8:30. When the check came (8:42) there was no discount for the happy hour prices. Not a big deal, 6 bucks, but still. When I inquired, one staff member said the hours were "a typo" to which I showed him the menu. They called in the manager and he proceeded to argue that since the waitress didn't place the order until 8:02, it wasn't happy hour. Really? Condescending and with out an ounce of empathy, he had the nerve to ask what I want him to do! He cost his waitress a tip and earned a very bad review. Avoid! read more

I enjoyed selections from the tapas menu- crabcakes, pork ribs, all good. My caprese salad was delicious. Chocolate cheesecake and creme brulee for dessert- delightful! Plus, they serve food until 11PM on the weekend- woo-hoo! Several glasses of a Columbian Merlot were quite tasty. read more

Disappointing is the word that describes our visit. Was hyped after reading reviews and definitely let down. Waitress was friendly but not attentive - and was ready to leave. It was apparent. Ordered crush burger and NY Strip. My husband didn't eat half of his burger. Seemed like a frozen patty. Fries were good but didn't taste the truffle. My strip was presented well. Came out medium as ordered - but was cut for presentation. Tasted good at first but got dry fast. Potatoes gratin were ok. Burnt on bottom which made for a mess on the plate. Waitress never asked how our food was. Never asked if we wanted desert. Manager came and visited a table next to us. Never talked to us or asked how our food was either. Won't be back and don't recommend. Over priced for what you get. Beautiful restaurant- could be a great place with improvements. read more

This was my first time eating at Crush. I was impressed by the friendly and professional staff, but not so much with the food. I paid $14 for a chicken Cobb salad, which I wouldn't have minded if it were good. The portion was small, and had tons of lettuce core, which I had to remove before eating. Not from Amarillo, but was looking for a nice atmosphere to eat/drink on a Saturday night. This place gets 5 stars for atmosphere. Rooftop dining was open and they have live local music every night. We only had an appetizer, fried cheese curds with jalapeños. It was good. But you can't go wrong with fried cheese. Hostess, waitress and service was all wonderful. Quick, kind, accommodating. The drinks, however, were below average. My boyfriend had beer, it was fine. I had 2 cocktails. One of them being just a vodka cranberry and one a house drink, both super weak and watered down. Very little alcohol, very little flavor of any sort. If we ever go back, it will solely be for the atmosphere and service. read more

First time here from out of town. I don't come the the "Skrill often, but it does appear to have a killer beer selection. They had Sam Smiths Organic, and for that, I applaud them. I have yet to eat here but the food is reasonably priced, and some bros who are still forced to live here swear it's good.. It is one of the few places that is a SMOKE FREE environment. Thank Allah!!!!! Great help there with Coleman T.C.B. Overall, a great addition to the yellow city. This place is so cool that they can still have the word "deli" in their name even though it's really a great restaurant and still attract a crowd - there isn't any deli anything there. My friend and I are in the area working and stopped by here for lunch based on Yelp reviews and the suggestion of a friend who works in the area. This place was delicious and the food was extremely fresh. Since it's only open for lunch, the menu is mainly composed of a variety of sandwiches that come with a choice of fruit, homemade chips, or quinoa. I had a hard time deciding which sandwich to order as they were all quite gourmet. I ended up with the salmon on flatbread with a dill cream cheese while my coworker chose the seared tuna wrap. Delicious! Mine came out with a HUGE piece of smoked salmon on top of tomatoes and flatbread with spinach. It was almost too much food, but I somehow managed to eat it all. The atmosphere is very quaint and friendly and the place has appeal as it's located within a historic building. Since my friend and I each had several sandwiches that we wanted to choose from, we have decided that we will definitely be back before we have to head home. Prices are reasonable, mostly considering the quality and amount of food you get. And the place offers free wifi. You seat yourself and you have the option to sit inside or under a nice, large canopy outside. I recommend this place for lunch if ever in the area. read more
